- This video explains different types of reliability estimates when evaluating a measurement tool. Then, the video demonstrates the calculation procedure of internal consistency reliability using SPSS.
কোনো আচরণ/মতামত/অবস্থাকে পরিমাপ করার জন্য সাইকোলজিতে নানারকম স্কেল বা টেস্ট ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে। সেই স্কেল বা টেস্টের ওপর আসলেই ভরসা করা যায় কি না তা যাচাই করার প্রক্রিয়াকে Reliability Analysis বলা হয়। আজকের ভিডিওতে কি কি ভাবে Reliability Analysis করা যায় তার একটা পরিচিতি আছে। এরপর এসপিএসএস দিয়ে সবচেয়ে বহুল প্রচলিত Internal consistency reliability ক্যালকুলেশন এবং ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়েছে। আপনার গবেষণায় যেকোনো স্কেল/টেস্ট ব্যবহারের আগে Reliability যাচাই করে নেয়া বাধ্যতামূলক। এই ভিডিওটি আপনাকে স্বাচ্ছন্দে সেই কাজটি করতে সহায়তা করবে।

I believe reliability does not apply to questionnaires with multiple responses.

@@md.sajjadulhaqueripon4567 I don't think so. Reliability is essential for scales/measurements that are particularly design to assess some psychological or social constructs such as depression, attitude, etc.

Sir, whats the best way to check reliability or validity of a Questionnaire, that is adopted from another country and add some more queries based on local situation.
Sir, will the reliability test be applicable for secondary data test?
The reliability of the data should be reported by those who collected them in the first place. You can still check reliability of the secondary data and report in your result.
My datasheet of 421 respondents, the Cronbach alpha value for 17 items is .73 and each item alpha value is over .70, does it mean that my data is reliable for further analysis or I have to check other relations. Need an explanation. best regards
Cronbach alpha value .70 is acceptable.
