Justin, my first visit to BBW. Very impressed with your calm, easy to follow descriptions. Your commentary and critiques provided guidance that was easily digested. I’ll be back…
Video quality and sound is great. I did enjoy your comments on the tools that you were showing. For the most part they were decent quality and helpful in the shop. Not all tools have to be expensive, good job showing us the tools of the trade.
Justin, my only surprise is that you don’t have 100k viewers already! Your presentation is second to none, concise, clearly spoken and always good content! The video quality is as good, if not better, than I have seen any where else on RUclips! I for one hope you will continue to for many years to come! Keep up the good work! Len (Devon 🇬🇧)
Ditto! Just watched and subscribed. Love that you don’t go on and on about yourself and other repetitive stuff. YOU PREPARE. AND companies like woodPECKERS charge ridiculous amounts for their products. I couldn’t comprehend why it should cost so much, now I know it doesn’t have to, and I can afford some gadgets that would be helpful without feeling ripped off and angry. Thank you very much. Woodworking is expensive enough.
Thanks! Yea I personally “can” afford all the big expensive stuff but honestly you feel that you have to treat them carefully since you spent so much, there are lots of good reasonable options out there!
The shelf pin jig can also be used as a drill guide if you need to make 90° holes and you don’t have a drill press or it’s in the middle of the panel. You’re not limited to shelf pins.
I already have the small 3D square and the countersink that I bought direct from China. I actually use the 3D square quite a bit as it works well to scribe a perpendicular measurement to an edge that I can use to line up on the crosscut or panel sled. The countersink works well and does a nice job making a clean countersink on laminate. It does clog up a little from time to time, but worth the $37 difference from the pro tool. Never had a problem with a snapped bit. Thanks for the other reviews.
Hi there. Love your channel. I have been looking for a new apron. I watched you videos on aprons but notice that you have gone back to your original apron. Is this your fav?
Thanks so much! No I liked the darker brown one the best however the strap is leather and it was making a creaking noise right into my microphone, so it’s very much a me issue! lol
I just found your video. Very well done, thank you. When I followed the link to the thin strip jig it went from 28.88 to 39.99. That’s a big jump. The corner bracket clamps also went up in price. I stopped looking after that.
Justin, I especially enjoy your tool videos and look forward to more. Do you think the thin rip jig could also be used to square a table saw blade? Thanks.
Technically, I guess you could. It is coming from the miter slot, which will definitely be square to the blade. I always just use a good trusted metal square
Thanks for the tool overview. I'm glad you included some duds. It's useful info when browsing junk, but also makes it clear that you're being thoughtful. Suggestion: on your amazon page have a list of your video stuff: mic, camera, tripod, lights, etc. Thanks as always.
Awesome video, will definitely be adding some of these to my amazon wishlist. With the self centering dowel jig, wouldn't it be more stable if you had it rotated so that the ball bearing's are held up against the wood in the same direction that the drill bit is spinning?
Thanks, I tried it in both directions, but just adding a ball bearing on there means that it has easy movement any direction. Some people had made the suggestion to use a punch or a Brad drill bit so it has that small little spike, that helps prevent wandering, even in normal drilling situations
Fantastic video quality. As a beginner woodworker, the inexpensive tools will be purchased for "learning." It's always good when someone else does the footwork for ya. I will be going to Going Makes for some of these. Thanks
This is the first video I watched from your channel. when youtube fed me your video, I immediately noticed how bright and smooth the video is. 60fps is great. content was excellent and I like your soft mellow style. good job!
Not specifically but it hasn’t been super on my mind. I’ve used them only one time and know that you have to use a 9/32 inch drill bit (at least the one I used) and I just checked the going make wouldn’t take that. I’ll keep an eye out! I just used the regular jig and then went back and re drilled but obv not the best solution
Just a suggestion on the self-centering dowel jig: always rotate it the direction the drill spins and you'll have less, or zero, movement. Those tend to move more if you're trying force it against the spin because the bit will grab it some and fight against you, so let the bit help by grabbing it into the same direction (rotate clockwise on the wood).
This is a great video. The picture quality is far better than most and everything is easy to see due to the positioning of the camera. I found the content was very interesting, even though I wouldn’t use many of the tools reviewed. But I did watch it to the end because the presentation was done so well and its an interesting topic - things to look out for when buying such tools And thank you for not using music or trying to be a comedian. 10 out of 10 for this one. It’s only the second one that I have subscribed to though I’ve watched hundreds.
Thank you for taking a look at these budget friendly tool options. On any of the tools that are meant to act as squares, did you evaluate them for square? Its great that the big t square is more than half of the red tool brand but is it as accurate? Thanks!
Yes it is square! Sorry I kind of tried to run through the last few a little fast because I didn’t want to make it seem like it was the going make show! I always check my square especially long ones with the miter slot on my table saw, they are adjustable with the screws and came out flat and square 👍
The quality of the video was excellent. I was thinking about the centre finding jig. If you were to use a s centre punch with the jig and then drill, would that stop the drill bit slipping?
22:53 When you mentioned the rollers earlier I was thinking that didn't seem like a good idea. Maybe fixed pegs with a rubber or sandpaper sleeve might be a better idea.
I definitely agree that the rollers are probably unnecessary and just make it harder to hold down well. I think most of the time you’re gonna be able to use clamp of some sort but good idea with the sandpaper!
The blue pin and the 3D square…can some sticky velcro secure the pin? I cant quite see the pin, so maybe not, but stick on velcro can solve many problems like that.
Hmm a good thought but I’d say no, if anything’s applied to the shaft of the pin it wouldn’t fit in the guide holes. I was more thinking if it wasn’t made of aluminum but a magnetic metal then a magnet on the square would hold it
Like the new camera quality Justin. Camera 'quality' relies some much on lighting setup and you have nailed both. Also another full tool review video which is awesome. Will definitely see you in the next one. Love your channel mate. kmdc from Oz.
Simple solutions to 2 of the tools. First one, the dowel centring jig. Scrap the bearings, they are only complicating the tool, simple friction pegs. Secondly, the 3d square, much like the overlooked scribe on a sliding combination square, the peg could simply thread into a dead space on the tool. Hope this helps. 👍🏼
Video quality is excellent! I bought the Going make concealed hinge jig recently, haven't used it yet, but I was very pleased with the quality of it. Thanks for the excellent tool reviews!
Hey man, thanks for taking the time to help us get the right tool at the right price. This is my first time watching your channel, so I don't know what quality video you have before. However, I like the quality of your video, very nice color balance and most important for me at least, great sound. Thank you
The FINICEL ruler has a feature that you did not mention. The slide can be mounted through the rectangular hole at 90 degrees to keep the rule standing on its side. That makes the graduations on the end of the ruler easier to use.
I am a tool nut and have over $50000.00 I my tool box plus my tool box was over $8000. And you have as great a video honestly giving great opinions. When you make you living . Then it best to use best you can get even as you showed . Price is not always the best but common sense that some people need to look at before buying
I've had my eyes set on the Hongdui / Hooked on Wood T-square. That thing looks amazing. Not exacly a "cheap" tool at $150.......but not exorbitantly prices either.
Video quality is much improved! Perhaps lower the light to reduce the shadow from the cap bill? A few really good low cost items, thanks! I have 3 different carpenters squares, none in the junk category, and each one is out of square along the 24” side. Did you check the square on the “T”s ?
Oh, that’s no good! Yes, I checked each one. I always check my square against the table, size miter slot, a big cast-iron surface that you can square up against your T squares. Have adjustment screws? Just like a table size fence needs to be calibrated every once in a while same thing with the T squares, but hopefully not too regularly. Good thoughts on the shadows from the hat.
Justin - video quality is very good. Combined with great lighting, it sets a great contrast in your shop. BTW - I like the Going Make brand of tools. A lot of bang for the buck!
Oh, thanks very much. Good to hear! Yeah, I wasn’t familiar with them before and I was hesitant about showing that many tools of theirs in this video because they were provided but honestly you can’t go wrong with milled aluminum stuff. I like their tools as well and some good creative additions to their designs others dont have
Nicely done. Very nicely done. Helping an SIL with some work. Going to purchase some of these and leave them with them. The balance I'll purchase over time, so as to not overwhelm him and/or her. Thank you very much. Would love to see more if you have time. The quality of the video is top shelf. Thank you for that as well.
Not the first good review I've heard of GoingMake over the past few months. Definitely going to have to check them out. Thanks for the reviews. I like your no-nonsense, practical approach to these sorts of videos. I don't feel like I'm being sold something, just told about it.
Thanks! I appreciate that. Yeah I’m always conflicted when company send me stuff to then promote it but honestly you can’t go wrong with mild aluminum for tools with durability and precision and a reduced price so I really have nothing but good things to say about that company honestly
Great video Justin I have purchased one goingmakes tee square and it’s a great tool and going to buy the thin Rip jig next they are some great tools glad to hear your opinion on them. As a new woodworker can afford them other Red tools. The video quality looks great and the sound was great too.
Great, thanks! Yeah, with the cheaper stuff it’s always a hit or miss as I tried to show in the video, too, I really do feel, though that a lot of the tools that are made out of mill aluminum are really great in precision and quality, and aluminum pretty cheap so it’s hard to go wrong there
Hey Justin. Thanks for the useful content. Video quality seems fine. I was happy to see you address T squares because I can’t go with the big red company prices but disappointed you cut and ran so quickly. I’m assuming since you gave them a thumbs up the construction and accuracy was spot on ?
Yeah, I didn’t want to make it the going make video, you know, since those things were sent to me. Yes, definitely thumbs up, all three squares. When I did set up at the table saw came out perfectly square and flat. I always set those up using the miter slot on the table saw so you can make sure that you’re perfectly square over the long distance, before you torque down the assembly screws.
Great video. Always looking for good knock offs. I think you erred on the dowel rod jig. Once you put the clamp on it you can no longer drill your hole because the clamp is in the way. I wonder if a different style clamp would work? If not, this jig is useless. Keep your content coming. I like your style. The video quality was excellent!!
to prevent moving of the self centering doweling jig, you should use a drill bit that is intended for use with wood, with a brad point. I think that would stop the jig from moving. But I think brad point drill bits are not common in the US, at least in a good quality.
Maybe you mentioned it before, but my old feeble memory cells don’t allow me to recall that you own a XMAS lights company. I sort of recently got into xlights a few years back. Great fun. With regards to the video quality, I honestly can’t say since I generally watch about 85% of YT videos on my phone , but it does seem more vibrant to me
Video quality great, comments, very useful. Only just been offered your site, and considering signing up. now looking at your back video's, which should clinch the deal. Brian in the UK
I really like the new camera setup. Makes for a more professional content. I like your not bashing the not so well priced but well known products. Pretty even handed were your assessments. Thank you for your video.
Hmmm prob the wrong answer 😂 I tend to use the track more because it’s everywhere on the bench but honestly, I wish I had the dog holes all over the bench, they are a lot more solid of a connection and their placed everywhere whereas the track is only around certain perimeters I also every once in a while will chip aboard that I’m cutting at the table saw because it’s somehow gets snagged on one of the tracks even though it’s recessed. So if you’re looking for a question on which should I go with, I would go with the dog holes.
Sorry, if this is a double reply, I replied to your question, but I don’t see it, I use the track more, but that’s because it’s everywhere on this table and honestly, I think if I remade the table I would use the dog holes more. There are a much stronger hold And they can be everywhere. Of course you can put track everywhere but it becomes a little ridiculous. Also, I every once in a while will chip a piece of wood on the track when I’m cutting at the table, saw the ones that run parallel to the saw. That would be cut has any sort of downward curve. It wants to go into the recess of the track which can be very annoying and even dangerous.
Thanks! It seems like the track people initially had the cool accessories. It seems like the dogs are matching the newer innovations. I am currently redoing my shop workbench, and appreciate your input since you actually have both
@@hoosfoos6678 sure if I was going to do it over again I would do dogs across the entire table and a track on both of the smaller ends, that way you have the option if you want to use them without (at least in my case) interfering with the table saw outfeed
Justin, thanks a lot for good tools review and suggestions. Helpful as usual. About video quality and equipment... Well, not so good quality, but that's not because of bad equipment, but most probably not configured well. For instance, was a little blurry then it was as usual. Play with different configs. Unfortunately don't know which equipment you purchased, so no specific suggestions.
Thanks for the feedback yea I went from a iPhone which will have everything all in focus to a lens that’s going to give some depth and boca behind me, not sure if that’s the right decision but going to play with it a lot 😃
The “K” brand concealed hinge jig is the biggest disappointment I own from that company. I have a lot of other of their tools - love the mobile project center, pocket hole jig, pocket squares, setup bars, etc - but I wrecked the hinge jig on project #1. My “K” brand pin jig lasted longer before the holes started getting too big, but I think I’ll be buying the aluminum ones you reviewed here!
Yeah, I agree. They are a great brand and that’s why I didn’t wanna knock them, I have a lot of their products and they’re great but that one is the fail for me especially when you have these really nice aluminum ones.
I got the kreg hinge jig and bougt a aluminium one from banggood i use it all the time even today the kreg i havent used since i dosent have dust extraction though 😊
Only thing about the countersink bits is whether they are sized for metric or SAE screws? Too many of these tools are metric only and consequently of minimum interest.
I always thought that the counter sink bits went by degree angle, and I always went by that angle, not specifically labeling them as SAE or metric, my Amana is 82° and comparing this to that they look to be the same degree
For your doweling Jig, what if you tried to put a rubber pad/ gasket on the wood side of the jig. That might add a better grip/ non-skid while you are pressing down and drilling. love the video, thanks.
I like the new tools that are more rugged and precise I thought you seemed to have a very high opinion of. I use Amazon for most of my tools because 90% of the internet to be great tools
only one quick note, on the self-centering dowel jig (at least in my experience) it helps to use a center punch, marking knife, etc. to give yourself a dimple to reduce wandering. otherwise great video, definitely subscribing 👌
Sure I love the tinker, when I do reviews on a product, though, you need to take it at face value as it is because that’s how a majority of traditional consumers are going to view it
Another great video. To be honest, at my age and health, as long as it is focused I really don't notice the difference between high and low quality cameras. I would like to see more reviews on Goingmake tools. There's a lot of buzz about them and their prices.
Thanks! Sure thing 👍 what I like about them is they aren’t just doing the cheap copycat thing, they are producing a durable product with unique features.
Excellent, thank you. I enjoyed your comment on the plastic hinge tool that “the holes have got bigger because I have used them”. 😂 That is where you slipped up - you used them! The tool would have lasted a lot longer if you hadn’t.
those red corner clamp ones are only 2-5 bucks tho, that lip on the black ones is just fantastic looking, i need some. The 3d squares are maybe 3 bucks or so as well elsewhere from the chinese webstores. it comes un assembled in your mailbox and do need to align them your self which is easy done screwing the side on.
Watch out for cheap tools that have a metric or imperial scale. One ruler I bought was 1/8 of an inch out in just 7 inches. Rulers I’ve bought from Temu have been ok.
Shelf pin jig - the reason it moved was not the fault of the jig, You had it against the wood incorrectly with the pin on the side of the wood away from you on your left instead of your right. With the drill bit spinning clockwise, you must expect the jig to rotate and drag the pin in the path of least resistance.
Thanks, great video! Going to have to check out that brand, Going Make. Speaking of which, on the T-squares, did you happen to check them for square. and if so, how did they come out? Also, video quality was great.
Text thanks! Yes, I always check all of my tools for Square specifically at the table saw if you use the edge of your cast-iron saw top with your miter slot. It’s a great way to align along tool like that. When you assemble it, you put all six screws in loosely and then set it up at the tablesaw and then tighten it down so that you know that it is square, the bigger question will be how long will it maintain its square before being needed adjusted again, but it’s just you know the normal par for the course with things like your fence, squares etc.
I think the video quality is great. I watch on a 55" computer monitor and you look fine. lol. Another great video, love that cup hinge jig and ordered it. Keep up the great work. Thanks for all your research and information. All the best...
Awesome good to know! Yeah, that really is a nice one, when I took it out of the box I was like yes! The built-in clamp is going to keep me from being lazy lol
Nice video quality. I have the three piece ruler set, i agree they very good/useful tools for the shop. I also have the lifts, they are ok. Thank you for sharing. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia.
Hi Justin, can you tell us which shop vacuum remote you use. I think that's what's on your apron? Also go rock climbers! Yet another reason I value your projects and channel.
🧗🏻♂️🤘 yea climbers! Sure it’s this one linked below. I used to use the harbor freight one but it burns out with the dust collector being power hungry at the start. This one has two remotes too so one on the apron and one near a saw station amzn.to/3U0wEUh
Good catch! That was actually because I have my garage lights set up to motion detectors in two zones, and the lights turned off on the other side of the garage because I hadn’t walked over there in a while, I saw that too, when I was editing, so I’m going to change the timer on those! Thanks so much!
Justin, my first visit to BBW. Very impressed with your calm, easy to follow descriptions. Your commentary and critiques provided guidance that was easily digested. I’ll be back…
oh that's great to hear thanks mark!
Great reviews, straight forward, no nonsense ,not holding back to good , bad, or "ugly " and in-between.

Thanks!

Video was/is fantastic. I love the way you explain quality, price, and functionality. Glad I found your videos

Excellent job! The way you presented, the tone of voice, and the details, makes your opinion very valuable.
Thank you kindly!

Liked and subscribed. Found your presentation relaxed and refreshing to watch. For some reason no comments box, so jumped on here. 👍

oh thanks so much Bruce! appreciate it!
Justin, perhaps a centre punch mark with the centre finding dowel jiggle would lessen the possibility of the drill bit skipping and moving the jig.
Great idea!

Good video brother I got to ask you a question where did you get your coveralls for your woodworking can you let me know please thank you sir
Thanks and sure here’s a link to my apron amzn.to/3wV0roi
The quality of the video was excellent. I was thinking about the centre finding jig. If you were to use a s centre punch with the jig and then drill, would that stop the drill bit slipping?
Hmm prob, you would need to punch first prior to placing the jig, but definitely clamping best. Thanks for the feedback!
I was thinking brad point bit, as they have far less tendencies to wander...
Thanks for the concise commentary of tools us DYI or hobbiest can use. I am starting to purchase Going Make and enjoyed them as well.
Glad you like them!
Video quality is brighter and clear than previous videos.
Ah cool good to know thanks!
At what resolution are you watching, because the 480p and below is a bit grainy and lagging, that could be because of youtube's transcoding though!

Thanks and good to hear the same on the quality of the jig!
Video looked good to me. Your reviews are excellent and as a result you are my go to source for guidance on tools I think I need. Thanks
Oh wow thank you so much! Always try and give some good honest feedback
Loved the video. Only one tool caught my attention...the corner clamp. Many times I could have used the ledge feature.
Yea the extra hand that gives you is 👍

FYI, using a brad point bit would keep your dowel centering drill jig from moving when drilling your holes.
👍
Thanks very much!
Thanks for the heads up on good deals. The video quality looks great.
No problem 👍
Thanks Jim, glad to hear you like it as well, honestly putting them next to my reds (I have a few) there’s no difference
Video seems fine to me. Thanks for doing this. I often wonder if any of the cheaper off brand tools are worthy.
Great, thanks! Yeah, with the cheaper stuff it’s always a hit or miss as I tried to show in the video, too, I really do feel, though that a lot of the tools that are made out of mill aluminum are really great in precision and quality, and aluminum pretty cheap so it’s hard to go wrong there
Where did you get that work apron? I like it a lot
amzn.to/3IO3AsN
@@BitnerBuiltgreat! Thanks for the response
That Rip Thin jig is just the thing I need for a project. Ripping thin strips kinda make me nervous! Thanks
Definitely me too lol!
Thanks! Hmm no on the dowel rod jig I clamped it on the side wing and didn’t obscure the metal drill bit collar so works fine (just tried it)
I love my going make thin rip jig. You can even use it in T tracks.
Yea the additional attachments make it versatile!
to prevent moving of the self centering doweling jig, you should use a drill bit that is intended for use with wood, with a brad point. I think that would stop the jig from moving. But I think brad point drill bits are not common in the US, at least in a good quality.
Thanks for the suggestion! Not as common, but we do have them
Good info, what company did you get your apron?
Thanks! amzn.to/3zPkQgI
Use a small triangle file on the end of the steel rule on your combo square. This creates a notch for the tip of your pencil.
Good tip!
Could you tellme were you purchased your apron?

@@BitnerBuilt thanks for the info
Video quality is great, no worries there!
I like those goingmake corner clamps and the concealed hinge jig. Adding those to the arsenal.
Thanks! Yea they are some nice kit!
Hi Justin,
How is the knockoff JessEm table saw locking wheels? Do you use them? Is there any value to that system?
Thank You,
Steven
Can you send me a link? I will pick them up and see for a future video
Hi Justin, let me find the PDF and I will send it to you.
Maybe you mentioned it before, but my old feeble memory cells don’t allow me to recall that you own a XMAS lights company. I sort of recently got into xlights a few years back. Great fun.
With regards to the video quality, I honestly can’t say since I generally watch about 85% of YT videos on my phone , but it does seem more vibrant to me
Yea that I do, 15 years in now - just about to start the crazy season for me!
Video quality great, comments, very useful. Only just been offered your site, and considering signing up. now looking at your back video's, which should clinch the deal. Brian in the UK
Thanks Brian! ✌️
I really like the new camera setup. Makes for a more professional content. I like your not bashing the not so well priced but well known products. Pretty even handed were your assessments. Thank you for your video.
Thanks so much!
Interesting. Those Going make hinge jigs are Approximately $140 over here in the UK.
Really? Wow huge price difference
Thanks for the tool review, certainly very helpful. Your new camera equipment quality looks really great.
Oh thanks so much!
Hi Justin. Liked this YT. Question: what do you use most on your workbench, the TRAC or the dog holes?
Very nice video work! Would like if you can make more close up videos of the tools.
Will do. Thanks!
I got the kreg hinge jig and bougt a aluminium one from banggood i use it all the time even today the kreg i havent used since i dosent have dust extraction though 😊
Nice 👍
Only thing about the countersink bits is whether they are sized for metric or SAE screws? Too many of these tools are metric only and consequently of minimum interest.
I always thought that the counter sink bits went by degree angle, and I always went by that angle, not specifically labeling them as SAE or metric, my Amana is 82° and comparing this to that they look to be the same degree
Have you tried the Dowelmax dowel jig system?
No haven’t used it before but looks nice! I will have to try it out
For your doweling Jig, what if you tried to put a rubber pad/ gasket on the wood side of the jig. That might add a better grip/ non-skid while you are pressing down and drilling. love the video, thanks.
Thanks and good suggestion a few others suggested using a Brad tipped drillbit that has a spike on the front of it, which would help with the wander
I like the new tools that are more rugged and precise I thought you seemed to have a very high opinion of. I use Amazon for most of my tools because 90% of the internet to be great tools
👍
video, lighting and sound were very good. the selection of cheap tools is also very good, several were interesting to me.
Oh that’s good to hear and thanks for the video feedback!
First time viewer so can say that vid quality was great. I appreciate the attention to safety issues.
Oh great thank you!
only one quick note, on the self-centering dowel jig (at least in my experience) it helps to use a center punch, marking knife, etc. to give yourself a dimple to reduce wandering. otherwise great video, definitely subscribing 👌
Great tip 👍
Hey Justin. Great video thank you. I have not been able to find a website or contact email for Goingmake. Can you share how you contacted them please?
so with any of these amazon sellers, on a product page it says who its sold by click that, and then there is a ask question button.
@@BitnerBuilt Brilliant thank you!
Have you ever modified tools of these types to improve their functionality?
Sure I love the tinker, when I do reviews on a product, though, you need to take it at face value as it is because that’s how a majority of traditional consumers are going to view it
Another great video. To be honest, at my age and health, as long as it is focused I really don't notice the difference between high and low quality cameras.
I would like to see more reviews on Goingmake tools. There's a lot of buzz about them and their prices.
Thanks! Sure thing 👍 what I like about them is they aren’t just doing the cheap copycat thing, they are producing a durable product with unique features.
I need the apron !!!
I’m a carpenter and can’t wear a belt/ pouch
because of diverticulitis

Camera, personality & presentation are great
Wow thank you very much!
Great presentation, very informative & detailed to the pros & cons of each item! Excellent, well done!
Thank you kindly!
Excellent, thank you. I enjoyed your comment on the plastic hinge tool that “the holes have got bigger because I have used them”. 😂 That is where you slipped up - you used them! The tool would have lasted a lot longer if you hadn’t.
😂 I know right how dare I use the tool lol. Glad you enjoyed it!
how do you put the screw in using pocket clamp ? you gotta remove then put the screw in....soooo wtf
You are only able to use that style when you have multiple pockets (again why I like C clamp style better)
The little blue peg for the corner marker gwt a string magnet an magnetize the blue peg.
👍
those red corner clamp ones are only 2-5 bucks tho, that lip on the black ones is just fantastic looking, i need some. The 3d squares are maybe 3 bucks or so as well elsewhere from the chinese webstores. it comes un assembled in your mailbox and do need to align them your self which is easy done screwing the side on.
Yes those black ones are very handy with the lip!
I usually watch RUclips on my phone so I've never had a complaint with video quality, it still looks good.
✌️
Watch out for cheap tools that have a metric or imperial scale. One ruler I bought was 1/8 of an inch out in just 7 inches. Rulers I’ve bought from Temu have been ok.
Sure any time your buying any measuring tool you should check it as well as only use that one tool for an entire project for consistancy
Where did you purchase the apron you are wearing?
amzn.to/3Vlpb3s
Shelf pin jig - the reason it moved was not the fault of the jig, You had it against the wood incorrectly with the pin on the side of the wood away from you on your left instead of your right. With the drill bit spinning clockwise, you must expect the jig to rotate and drag the pin in the path of least resistance.
👍
Your video quality was already amazing but yes it is even better now. Thank you for everything you do!
Thanks so much!
Oh awesome thanks very much!
Excellent lighting and video quality. Sound is natural. Good job on reviews.
Much appreciated!
Very enjoyable video and I learned several things from it. I like your delivery and pacing. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Question: Your shop apron - Maker? Source?
amzn.to/49yn6oe
Video and audio quality is excellent. I think you didn't go long enough. Looking forward to the sequel.
Haha thanks!
Really great video, first time I’ve seen this in the UK.
Oh awesome thank you! Always appreciate my views from over the pond so I do all my build videos in metric and imperial 😃✌️🇬🇧
Video quality is very good; the tool selection was excellent.
Awesome thank you!
Hi Justin! I noticed in a couple spots it looked like the lighting dimmed a bit. Otherwise looked great!
Good catch! That was actually because I have my garage lights set up to motion detectors in two zones, and the lights turned off on the other side of the garage because I hadn’t walked over there in a while, I saw that too, when I was editing, so I’m going to change the timer on those! Thanks so much!
