love to see James bring Thomas back to the UK and do some reviews of cars that aren't available in Canada
💯
yes, some euro hot hatches like the meg rs,skodas vrs's and dacia's ;)
Yes! Maybe with Chris Harris at Anglesey.
A Skoda review 😅
@@danmayberry1185 Collecting Cars.
I would love to see a TH extra build series. Watching you two struggle with a project car just sounds super fun and entertaining.
I would love to see this
I would love to see this but I don't think they can healthily add another channel to their schedule without lowering the quality.
Yeah who wouldn't want that, assuming they actually work on their own cars
@@j.a.g.8689 thomas does
Yes yes yes!
James' comedic timing on "heavy electric SUV" is gold!
These couch videos are always some of my favorites. Have you guys ever thought about doing a podcast?? I would love that. More long form version of your thoughts
A throttle house podcast would be so good
Get some car guys on it and easy success
Thomas and James on Extra Carmudgeon Show!
Podcast 🎉
@@mrflippant that would be great.
As a British viewer I'd love to see you do a UK trip with some reviews of cars you can't get in Canada
❤️
They should make a video with auto alex that would be great
@@lotfy309 Agree
Hit up Jame's uncle - Gordon Murray, for a t.50 in Dec.
Pop into Drivetribe and check out what Hammond is up to.
Protect Thomas and his laughter at all costs
🔥
Please god no
@@shawnhorton2000 lol 😂. It’s what makes everything better in the world. James is awesome at making him laugh especially on stressful times. They have a tough job. As it is
UHHHH I thought it read, Protect James and his laughter at all costs! Who's Thomas?
@@JakeSoulFreeTravels your being facetious I hope
Do more old vs new and more cross channel reviews such as with Jason Cammisa. Love the work y’all do. Thank you!!!!!!
Love the old vs. new stuff!
@@calebfurlong and love Jason Camissa, too!!!
Agree 100%! 👍
I know it can be quite costly, but once a year doing something like what cartrek and the Grand Tour does with a big trip somewhere (preferably in Canada) with different challenges. That being said, if you keep it exactly the same it will still be my favourite car show on RUclips. Keep up the good work gents
I can produce an episode for about $5-10,000 a day, which is only in car reviews with b-roll footage. Now you got me curious what a 5 day shoot stopping to film exterior shots n yada...I'm sorry...what was the question? heh.
That would be a massivley curious thing to see is them in a different element. James was on Cartrek for a minute and it was interesting to see him in a different element.
I was thinking this exact same thing. If they had the time, it would be really great to see Thomas and James go on a purposeful trip somewhere, documenting on the way, to complete some challenges, test a hypothesis, or just a themed trip about certain cars.
2 months later, can confirm they are actually doing this
with recession and costs rising, it would be cool if you guys reviewed more budget friendly cars and compare some odd couples that might not look together but on paper they are. For instance, wrx and challenger GT are all awd and share similar weight.
4000lbs and 3400lbs are similar?
I'd like to see a series on slightly used cars. Kind of like a follow up review. How bad does this car's interior rattle after two years of use. What maintenance issues have presented themselves, that kind of thing.
As a fan of the original Top gear and then Grand Tour from childhood, I am telling you guys to have a great chance to be the next big, cool team. Grab two cars, one for each, and do road trips and challenges... regularly...Best of luck for 2023
Hell yes. That would be amazing. Someone needs to step up and fill the void they left. I see comments all the time on all sorts of car related videos. People are dying for someone to step up and fill the role they created
Well, when they go to cable and attract 220 million viewers worldwide they should be able to afford the production and travel costs!
i want to see more budget cars, like “what’s the best car to have as your first fun car?” and have like polo gti and others. best entry level rwd would also be a nice battle to see on the track
The weight of the C63 is absurd. Great episode
When the Emira comes out, can you somehow do a Lotus Evora vs Lotus Emira Drag race & Track test. That would be awesome and a huge hit I believe. It will also be a great comparison of where Lotus was vs where they are heading.
Throw the Elise and the Esprit in to the mix and I'd pay to watch that
@@SoFarFromCrust I’d be interested in adding some variation of the Exige into the mix as it was essentially a more hardcore Lotus Elise at it’s core. The 420 hp Exige that only weighs 2400 lbs looks nuts to drive!
@@Toolace problem is, the V6 Exige wasn’t sold in the US
@@AliasProductions801 I guess you're right on that, only the earliest Exige years were allowed because of the further crash test safety requirements implemented in the US at about the time of the V6 Exige's arrival.
Most excited for some drag races between the new C63s and M3!
❤️🔥
Am not that interested, clear amg win, but loss in terms of enjoyment and overall appeal
@@pedroloboantunes4017 you might be in for a surprise then
@@zubastik2992 in which way?
@@zubastik2992 I sure want a true sound check of whatever monstrosity they did with the exhaust.
once or twice a year, a big top gear type excursion would be pretty cool. do it as a 3 to 5 episode series. Super cars in abu dabi, Lifted trucks in TX, luxury cars in marthas vineyard, convertibles in FL stuff like that.
I think these types of videos have shown me that I’d love a throttle house podcast! Very funny and interesting conversations.
We need Thomas on the Carmudgeon show for sure
I lost my shit at "When you think of Lotus - you think of heavy electric SUV". You guys are great!
😂😂👍
Off-road trips would be entertaining. Longer format, maybe over a couple episodes. You two guys are entertaining enough to have a fun adventure.
I love Thomas so much (and James as well but hear me out here 😂), you can tell he knows his things so, SO well 🙌🏻 At 6:51 they said "The new M2 is heavier" and James fell into the trap that Automakers have set up: "Yes, but it's more powerful so the power to weight is the same or better" and Thomas like IMMEDIATELY gave the right answer "I don't care about that, I care about lightness." YES, EXACTLY. 😩❤️ If you fall into the trap of "More Power to compensate for Weight" you end up with the new C63 E Performance 🙂 Yes, it has a way better power to weight ratio than the previous one but it's driving dynamics are, and I mean no offense, trash according to the journalists that have driven it, why? Because power does not matter beyond like 500 or 600 hp, lightness does. That's why the MX-5, the 86 and even the 911 GT3 are so successful! ❤️
Thanks for the vid guys. Your chemistry together is the freakin best. Can’t wait for 23. :)
A top gear style road trip series would be cool. Other than that, yall are awesome keep doing what you're doing. ❤️
Come down to Colorado this year, we have the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, PPIR, PMI, High plains RaceWay and great mountain roads.
Love the content guys. Keep doing what you do and it'll be a great 2023.
A Thomas and James, "budget" street and track car build off series. Would love to see it. (could even narrow it down to a scope based on generation of car)
Ive been watching for a long time. Im definitely excited for the news cars coming out and you guys reviewing them, but also for the older cars that you guys haven't gotten around to. I loved the Lexus LFA video even though that's not a new car. I loved the Toyota Crown history and the fact that James got a Century
I’d say most exciting car from your list is Lotus Emira . And I recommend you drive 1st Edition in Yellow
Love that you guys are really putting out the videos, lots of great fun to watch!!!
The banter between you guys makes me literally laugh out loud. Extra throttle house is the best!
I can wait for you guys to review the Emira! When is it expected on your channel?
thank you thomas and thank you james. We are excited to watch and support in 2023 :).. you guys rule !
You guys are just the frikin best..really, always look forward to any video from you regular or extra channel ...ENTERTAINING 👍🏁
Love watching your guys videos! I was curious if you were every going to review a Mazda FD RX7?
Best duo on RUclips, great to watch. It feels like you're talking with friends
"but that's what you want from Lotus, you want a heavy electric SUV" funniest statement I've heard from you guys.
16:14 A stiff shot of beer!!! LMFAO. You guys are awesome! Thanks for all that you do for us!
What I want is simply more Throttle House. Simply keep being yourselves and making your amazing content
Keep doing what you're doing guys.
Love the channel. You guys always crack me up. Keep it coming
This was so amazing to watch, it's like I'm hanging out with you guys lol
Way better than any podcast
The amount of confidence I have in your videos is such that I like your videos before watching the first 1 minute! You guys are different and stay different !
You liking a video takes minimal effort, stop acting like its a big freakin deal that took so much of your energy
@@Chocobohunter I believe I'll waste my time with you explaining my first comment.
I'd love to see a series of old versus new models of the same cars... like you did for the Type R. I love to see the improvements, or not, between generations. Thanks! You guys are awesome. Well, James is. ;-)
Great job on the video guys! Thanks for making it.
"Stop looking at us Bojack" 😂😂 got me lol love you guys!! 🤙
You guys definitly need to review a GT3RS 992 this year. No doubt
im so hyped for the lotus emira. im also hyped for how much its going to tank lotus evora prices cuz they kinda nuts right now. I havent decided which lotus i want more yet if evora becomes cheaper
Plz plz PLZ do an evora vs emira video!!
James and Thomas bought a Smart Crossblade. Incredible.
Thank u guys it was lovely year
I would love to see more Old vs New style content. Another ide along those lines for you, Obscure vs Popular. two cars of similar make one commonly known (S Class M5 etc.) the other one less known (infinity M56 or Hyundai genesis)
I think you guys had as much fun making this vid as I did watching it.
💯
I love you guys videos. It’s my go to car review channel. You make it be fun with the both of you. It’s been a great 2 years watching you guys.
Thx Guys. I am sure as long as I have your videos to watch 2023 will be entertaining.
Just do more of what you guys do because it's all great.
HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY EVERYONE ✌️
💯
I would ❤️ to see you travel to different locations around the world completing car centric challenges 🎉 Awesome chemistry and production quality on this and especially on the main channel 👍
Great video. Enjoyed it all the way through 👌👏
Would really love to see you guys go on roads trips. Sometimes in new cars, sometimes you could do it in the cheapest cars of x type from the used marked etc. Do challenges against each other. One car each. Doesn't have to be super high budget. The two of you + cars is what will make it fun. Just don't rig it with false errors on the cars and so on :)
Example would be:
buy the cheapest cabrio and drive to x place.
Or spend max x amount of money to get the fastest lap time, example 1000 Canadian dollars. Spend 1000 on the car 0 on upgrades, maybe one of you spend 200 on the car and 800 on upgrades. as long as you're within budget. Would make a good watch.
You could also strech it over several 20 minute videos. Road trip part 1-4 etc. I'd buy it
Agree 100%! 👍
Love your videos so much! If Ferrari would allow it id love to see you do a SF90. You are both so honest and wonderful, God Bless you and your whole team that brings us these wonderful videos!
🔥💯❤️
Lotus Emira 😍
I always love to see the competitors together doing race, sounding, …etc.
also comparing between them in every thing ; price , HP … etc.
I want you guys do a continental trip, Europe or North America, make a vlog with a car of your likeness. That would be really cool to watch.
Please try and manage to do some legendary cars like the Carrera GT and the McLaren F1. Yea it will be an absolute pain for y'all to manage but it'll be so WORTH ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. PLLLLEEEEAAAASSEEEE. Karston please make it happen with your focus.
Probably the most excited new cars in 2023 is Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini huracan Sterrato
💯
Pick 2 cars you love but cant agree on and make a mini series or an ep trying to convince the other. The banter would be amazing. Love the show guys love the skits. Its brilliant
I'd love to see TH come to the UK and do a car review. And I'd also love more classic car reviews, with the level of quality of these reviews it would be great to see more classic cars included.
I'm looking forward to the EV6 GT and the Ioniq 5 N, just to see if they're actually good. As well as the E-Ray, definitely interested to see how that turns out. Looking forward to lots more great content from you guys!
I would love to see you guys review a McLaren. The P1 has been one of my favorite cars for the longest time, which would probably be a long shot but maybe a 720 or 765.
Can you do generation reviews?? Like you did before, used vs new but that was usually only 2 generations. I'd be interested in seeing reviewing/ranking the generations of GTIs, E-Class AMGs, Mustang GTs, Evos, etc. Logistically probably be difficult but I'd love to see it.
Happy 2023 guys!
I remember a few years ago I was sub to you and another Canadian duo who loves satellite radio and pops. 🤐
I have unsubscribe to them and stay with you and watched you grow week by week.
Editing is amazing, sketches are still original and funny. ( like how? 😂)
Keep it up, keep amazing us. ✌🏻 ❤️
Idea, would love to see you guys buy and upgrade a car - take something within means ie 2018 civic and make it a beast on a 10k budget or something 😅
Edit: let Carson speak in a drag race too haha
Yes, to Carson speaking, No, to the update idea if it detracts from the quality of the other videos. I don’t think most really appreciate the quality of writing and editing that goes into TH! Keep up the great work guys!
With In 17 Seconds
That’s what she said.
I swear that y'all have dream jobs. It makes me happy to see how much you two seem to enjoy it.
I just love the dynamism between James and The Other One; these guys are my go-to for car reviews... Really looking forward to this year's insanity! 🤩
Thanks for all the laughs in 2022! Can’t wait for the new year!!!
7:00 I couldn't agree more. The power is already there, start making these cars lighter!
I would love to see Throttle House do more head-to-head, or "best car in a class" videos (and I'm not talking about drag races): E.g., best sports sedan- G70 vs. IS vs. TLX vs. C vs. 3 vs. CTS, best rolling Duracell, $85k max. luxury SUV face off, or best resurrected sports car: NSX vs. Supra vs. Nissan Z, etc.
I liked how last you guys took the best parts of the best looking cars to make one car design.
Keep up the great work. These videos are still fun. The new mustang looks great.
Personally, I'm hoping you guys get to test a bunch of the new EVs coming: Blazer EV, Lyriq, Ioniq6, EV9 if it comes this year, but most of all, the Fisker Ocean.
great content as always. you talked about driftability of the m2 etc. maybe pair up 2 to 4 new cars and compare their ability and fun factor to drift. some may NOT make the list based on their forced composure at the limits (talking about you GR corolla on stock perf tires)
I want longer vids because I can't get enough Thortle Horse! You can review econo-boxes for all I care, I'd still watch. PS: Hi James!
would like to see you guys experience the Woodward Dream Cruise in August around Detroit, Mi.
also, would still like to see you review a rare V6 1LE Camaro
more Hero cars, 959, Diablo 6.0, 1990 ZR1 etc..
A Europe tour meeting other co-workers + Autobahn + Nurburgring + Spa + Silverstone + Monza + Lots of fun.
The geometry/balance of the lotus design really is flawless
Things to do
1. More driving schools
2. African Overland Treks
3. Ferry trip to special roads
4. Canadian logging road excursion
5. Runway racing
6. Salt Flats Racing
7. F1 track tour in incompatible vehicles
8. Beach day with compatible vehicles
9. Vintage Car Auction of cars you like
10. Most entertaining major highway car
Oh wow you bought a Fiero. ❤️❤️❤️
That Orange Bird reminds me of the Yellow Bird.
Keep up the great work guys! My suggestion is to do rallies and track events where we can meet up!
Guntherwerks Tornado back to back with... Olds Toronado. Or maybe just a quick mention during the Guntherwerks review and others on a Cali trip?
Road trip videos! Plus maybe a media drive, how they come together, what you guys have to do, the travel too, just a view on what goes on behind the scenes. Some more videos with other car journos would be great too. Mr Collecting Cars Harris was a great video, something along those lines... honestly though fellas, the channel works and doesn't really need anything to make it more interesting. Its already there. The format works, the variety in approach is ace, keep this stuff going! Nice one
Lotus will have the Yin and Yang of driving experience when they release their new EV
I want to see more road tests! Track tests are great but road tests like the Huracan on the canyons are my favorites!
I would love you see you guys review a 2013-2014 gt500 or super snake. Keep up the good work!
Watch you guys all the time. Great job. I have a hard on for the "Sector 111 Draken Spyder" for years. Can you please review?????? Keep up the good work.
Love how nobodies talking about the Lotus Emira, glad you guys shined some light upon it 💯
I would absolutely listen to a car related podcast from you two!
Keep it up,Gents! Ty.
I have a Giulia 2.0. Aftermarket exhaust and the the 4 sounds like a grunty rotary. Not a bad sound at all. So it can be done.
Great video ! Been a while since we've seen a Genesis on the channel, any updates on those?
Would love to see you guys get into the Gunther Werks 911. Would also love to see the GT3RS
I’d love to see even a short review of Spageti!
Going off of the Cadillac Ct5V Blackwing, I'd love it if you guys could do an old versus new style video with a Holden Commodore (Chevy SS) and/or a Ford Falcon Xr6 Turbo to compare fast 4 door, manual sedans. And if you're planning on travelling internationally, you should go to Australia to see the new Mustang as a racing car, Bathurst being the best choice.
"That's what you want from Lotus; you want a heavy electric SUV" 😂😂😂
