Can we break a Brush Mower by cutting full sized trees, heavy brush, stumps & whatever we find

- With permission from the engineers at Quick Attach we are going to try to destroy their brush hog by cutting full grown trees, stumps, heavy brush and whatever else we could find. BUT WHY??? Just to see how tough it actually is and if it can hold up to my test-it should work good for you.

We just bought the mega mower x from quick attach based on your video I can honestly say this mower is a beast I’ve taken down 10 inch trees with no problem. We run it on our 2022 cat 279d3 low flow Thanks for another great video. There are a lot of people including ourselves that watch these to get good recommendations for products that our company needs to buy.
Seems like a great attachment for someone just starting out and doesn’t have the funds to buy both a mulcher and a standard bush hog
If you ever need someone to try to break something just give me a call.👍
Love your content man
If you need something broke I have a few ex employees I could send your way lol
Lol, thanks Raymundo!
Wow, great brush cutter, thanks for sharing 😁
No problem Lloyd, thanks for watching !
Your putting in more humor in your videos (family guy references) I like it.
Thank you !
Great video brother some Machine keep up the awesome work god bless you and your family
God bless Thomas, thank you !
Pretty badass unit
Thanks Anthony 😀
Hey Stanley, when will you be inviting ol’ gals to play with some of those heavy tools? It sure looks like fun.
i have an overgrown pasture that needs this
Now see...you should have played 'BORN TO BE WILD' with the view of that beauty at work!
I'll never use or do 95% of the stuff you show or do, but that 5% that I will use and do will save or make me thousands of dollars over the coming years. I've decided to add mulch and pondless waterfalls to my services offered by my pressure washing business.
I have unlimited access to creek rock of all shapes and sizes and varieties. 12 minutes from my house I can get all the free rock I'll ever need to build waterfalls, even nice big slabs of slate. And mulch or decorative rock is the perfect up-sell when I go to do estimates for a house wash. Putting mulch down before using my chems will help keep them from making their way to any roots. I can even line the beds with creek rock if they want. I covered about 300 sq ft of a hill in my yard with creek rock and railroad ties so I wouldn't have to mow it. Plan on doing another 400 sq ft next year to finish it off. I'll just get lots of extra so I can hand select the perfect rock from my own back yard and sell them for hundreds of bucks when someone wants me to build them a feature. I love driving out to the creek and blasting some good music while getting a good workout collecting rocks. I'll love it even more when it not only saves me money, but makes me money. Time to start looking for a 2nd trailer for mulch and rocks.
Didn't we see this video before? You got a tree limb jammed in the mower and couldn't get it unstuck. Am I wrong or not?
Next time, more rocks and some old barbed wire / no climb field fence laying in the grass to see if it has a wire-break decoiler.
Could you do a video about the pros and cons of horticulture programs and if you think they are beneficial and also necessary to succeed in landscape?
Something to keep in mind Steven, thank you !
The break dancing lmfao.
👍
@@Dirtmonkey - Yeah, Stan, that segment was funny/entertaining as f--k!!!
I wish I could justify it!!! AWESOME
Nice unit. That loose left track on the Bobcat is really getting to me.
If your like me now the term "break dancing" Is more me jumping around when I break/hurt something IE. body parts. LOL Getting older is SOOOOO fun!!!! LOL
Lol
Looks a awesome bit of kit .great video. God bless
Thanks David!
I find myself on the side of a drum mulcher. I can go through thicker trees it mulches finer and it doesn't seem to lose its momentum so fast.
Nice 👍
Precisely.
Didn't they replace that with the mega mower ?
Those earing look nice, who's the pretty lady?
I'm trying to talk my boss into getting our company a new asv 135 skid steer and getaway from buying "all bobcat"
nice bobcats wished I own one.
So it is basically a "hot saw" +mulcher for a skidloader.
?? That pusher bar above the cutter looks like it could work better it it wasn't so far forward, or were you cuting trees a little larger than the design spec. ? :-)
Very nicely!!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Love it that makes the GROUND SHARK look like a tonka toy! I RAN a Kubota skid steer with a Bradco ground shark that just kept falling apart! The ground shark blade actually fell off! Blades though? I think carbide teeth 🦷 are better diamond makes a good one
Thanks for viewing !
Out of curiosity, with the tracked vehicles do you find yourself getting high sided or hung up on the skid plates on the bottom of the machine?
I bet this thing would be great for clearing cedars
How about mowing briar patches? Which is better? Disc or drum
Have you had any experience with buyers products, specifically snowdogg plows? Have been running one of their plows the last few seasons. Haven’t got much snow in Utah unfortunately!
AR400 blades, i think they use that type of steel for pistol targets. The 500-550 steel for rifles. They should last a pretty long time i would imagine
@ 5:53 that guy is pretty brave putting his arm and hands on that blade with the machine running like that.
Hydraulic hoses weren't even hooked up lol
can you do a brick wall , and how to drain water in the back
love it
Thank you!
You need high flow skid steer
Will this be able to cut through my wife’s meatloaf 🤔🤔😂
Lol Joe, thanks for watching !
Keep up the great work and THANK YOU for making the best videos!
#MINNESOTA Love your channel I've been watching lots of videos
Awesome! Thank you !
Stan, Is that you on the 3M Worktunes display and packaging they're selling at Costco? If not you've got a twin.
lol yeah it is check out his instagram
Will it loses a blade if you keep cutting trees....
They get dull they don’t break I ran a ground shark before very similar but wear plates and teeth will break and be lost
My dad has had a tree come in the skid steer with him and the skid steer had no door
What size bobcat is ideal for this kit?????
T200, T250, T300, T750, T770, T870
8:45 this thing is sucking and blowing at the same time lol!!!!!!
Truly a "that's what she said" moment! LOL
Probably not
Full size poplar. Are you kidding I killed a 40 inch poplar the other day
Reminds me of Battlebots...only much bigger and stronger.
Where has Elliot been? Anyone know?
Looks like it makes a mess
Look at a diamond mower, puts that one to shame in production and finish.
Todd V diamond are bad a$$. I always kept telling the boss to buy that instead of what he bought. A bradco ground shark 🦈 they are not good
@@semperfi2507 we have a bobcat brush cutter and it works good...buying a diamond mower yep....the comments never steer me wrong...thanks guys...yo break dance Stanley the cleaner take not...yep...
What type of motor is Diamond running in their Brush Mower/Cutter.
@@koolhair79 hydraulic motor...
@@yoyoyoda1783 what type?
Why? Why?
9:14😂😂😂😂
Look at the Caterpillar version.
Giggity
I want one. 🤤
the real question is can it make ground beef
Wait an engineer made something heavy duty....? Mustve failed 3 times before with lightweight models lol
Hi
Hi!
Just cut a 20" tree with it...
*thinks back to prior video*
Hey.... Im like number 700!!
Yee yee
Okay you're the one that said it it sucks and blows at the same time.
I need to find a woman like that.
Really? What is with your love with ASV?
Why do you ask the question like that? It all depends on the application. If forestry is your primary and you do limited dirt pushing, then ASV should be on the short list. It's going to come down to dealer proximity and support just like on any other piece of equipment you purchase, and that's been an ongoing issue for their immature dealer network following the buyback from Terex who let the machines rot on the vine and left their dealers out to dry when it came to support.
Looks like an expensive mess maker
I didn't feel like you actually tried to break anything.. Boring!
A badarse mower that suks and blows at the same time????...... Talk about a hard days work??!!!..... SOLD!!!!!...
7:20 "some of them are laminated polycarbonate and lexan"... lexan IS polycarbonate.
I have one of quick attach mega mower it's junk
All this guy does is jaw jack. I’m almost sure at this point he makes all of his money off RUclips videos because he doesn’t ever get any actual work done
