Everybody's gangster until Exodus use Scathe
Arguably the best Esper to actually use. Endgame-level defenses, takes half damage from all elements, access to obscenely powerful Ardor, and Comet, while random, often ends up being a very reliable source of damage. You can fight him as soon as you reach Phon Coast. Give him to a mage to boost Comet's power with Bubble, and you've got yourself an easy way to deal with most of the game's remaining bosses and marks.
Yeah , i take down the esper from nabudis (forget the name) only use expdus and use my vaan as my support to Exodus
The final like 5% of this guy's healthbar is one of the most harrowing fights in the game. I forgot he had that phase of mist immunity and after using a chain 10 mist i had no MP LEFT it was terrifying

So badass, i love Meteor. Gotta love the attention to detail, you see the trees bend to the ground before the Meteor hits. Love the sidequest to get to him too.
Sigh Quickenings like pissing against the wind with that paling :(
I remember fighting this esper for this first time... I was like... How do you kill this thing?

I barely managed to beat it back then. I was close to be total party wipe too.
It was actually pretty easy for me.

This is a hard fight
I got him yesterday and that was easy because I have to dispel his Reflect if it's immune to physical damage. My characters were level 60 something
thats what i call a fight ^^
Do they have a, Whole Raise, where the party is raised? They should just have an upgrade system to the magic.

Aaah yes Exodus.. I remember the tedious and long fight. Though I didn't fight him with Reddas :P I fought him as soon as I could (accidentally xD). I think I did him before I reached Archades. Then again, that was on the normal version so I dunno if they buffed him in the International version and this one :P
I remember in the original version I got every Esper before him (and Zodiark, I think you gotta get all of them before Zodiark) and when I got to Exodus I was...kind of overleveled. By which I mean I was level 99 with about 90% of the licence board complete for every character.

Half an hour worth of quickenings and...zero damage. Pretty much sums up my experience with those bizarrely useless ultimate attacks.
How do you get to him?

I was underleved when found him. Lol. But somehow i manage to beat him
@Suffered Person quickening wasn't effective, i remember i use the most powerful black magic and put it on everyone's gambit. He died quickly
@Suffered Person what? You clearly don't know how to manage your Gambit properly if you need quickening just for that
@Suffered Person its weird because you could win superfast if you arrange your Gambit properly. Battling with strategy is more satisfying than instant win. The strategy part is what make final fantasy series is so enjoyable.

The weapon Penelo has? It's the Trident while Fran's is the Ivory Pole I believe.

What if u use reflect?
Reflect doesn't negate the damage.
But it'd probably help a little
All esper have piercing reflect passive, it’s useless
Scathe is an area of effect spell it cannot be reflected. 💥
