I've been waiting for this upload. Gilgamesh is one of those iconic characters with fun and interesting battles. Plus, he has awesome BGM (battle-game-music).

I LOVED these fights! Felt so good to have my characters strong enough to hold their own. This is the best battle music in the game and among the best out of any FF. This is also the best version of Gilgamesh out of any game.
So it's just Gilgamesh as he is literally the same character as FFV and FFVIII. Gilgamesh is one of the few characters who travels dimensions in the Final Fantasy series, the others being Shinryu and Omega.

I’m only here because I wanted to know if the historical figure “Gilgamesh” had their name appropriately given to a video game boss that could match such awesomeness. I believe I have found exactly that here, and life is more awesome because of it.
I loved this game, the story was good, Battle interface was ok (no loading screens was fucking legit), but I also hated how unbalanced battle was. It gave you hundreds of abilities but they were almost never worth using. Try to use it in a boss fight, the enemy was immune 99.99999999999999% of the time; try to use them grinding out levels you run out of MP. Espers were wicked difficult to kill, but when you summon them they were usually killed in a few hits. So unless it was one of the few mobs where there was some gimmick, the only option was to just do boring melee attacks like a shit-chucking ape.

Fun Fact... it took me a while to find out that all his precious swords from the FF universe are bad replicas :D back than i thought he really beat all the main characters and took their weapons which really impressed me it was easily one of the greatest easter eggs in any game i didn´t notice the differences except for the buster sword but since i can´t read japanese i didn´t know it clearly said "fake" XD this is by far my favorite incarnation of Gilgamesh he is so funny but still very challenging in his last fight + the scene after the fight was so damn hilarious i still always have to laugh XD it would be great to see Gilgamesh as a secret boss in the KH franchise but i hope they go with this version and not the new one from FF15... that gilgamesh was just dissapointing :-(

Funny. The sword he left behind, is one of the best, but there is much to do for obtaining it in the main game (defeating Omega, Yiazmat and do a very cool and long sidequest)
Did they buff Level 70 Gilgamesh? I saw his normal attack while he was in HP Critical status do over 4000 damage in one hit. That is insane given his increased combo rate. I remember him on vanilla doing no more than 2000-2500 damage per hit with the same combo rate in Critical status... Damn.

He said that after pulling out a legit legendary sword. All the swords he pulled out before that were off in some way- heck, the buster sword actually had fake/imitation branded on it.

Gilgamesh got older and when you get older you get more serious and you're appearance changes so that probably explains why he only has 1 arm and not 6 or 8 and also that edgy and "fake" personality is him being more mature and not this young and funny Gilgamesh

Fun Fact... it took me a while to find out that all his precious swords from the FF universe are bad replicas :D back than i thought he really beat all the main characters and took their weapons which really impressed me it was easily one of the greatest easter eggs in any game i didn´t notice the differences except for the buster sword but since i can´t read japanese i didn´t know it clearly said "fake" XD this is by far my favorite incarnation of Gilgamesh he is so funny but still very challenging in his last fight + the scene after the fight was so damn hilarious i still always have to laugh XD it would be great to see Gilgamesh as a secret boss in the KH franchise but i hope they go with this version and not the new one from FF15... that gilgamesh was just dissapointing :-(
The only Sword that wasn't fake was the Skull Sword he got from Odin in FF8

Funny. The sword he left behind, is one of the best, but there is much to do for obtaining it in the main game (defeating Omega, Yiazmat and do a very cool and long sidequest)

I saw his normal attack while he was in HP Critical status do over 4000 damage in one hit. That is insane given his increased combo rate. I remember him on vanilla doing no more than 2000-2500 damage per hit with the same combo rate in Critical status...

I think it's a fair buff. After all the 9999 damage cap has been removed which is beneficial for the players.

There is something annoying me a lot about the majority of ppl playing FFXII which is that they aren't using their gambits to its full potential
Some prefer to have absolute control. Also, Gambits are notoriously slow to react to sudden shifts in a fight.
@@nebula8851 I know I'm 3 years late but the majority of people don't realise that they can set the battle speed to fast in the options. This makes yours and enemy gambits come out much faster and makes fights faster paced.
