    Great video.

On my 15th or 16th Griffith in the last 50 years; and found that flipping the coach and chassis upside down is much easier. Please leave the chassis open as was done on the later TVR's. Also went from an.063" wall to at least an .095" on the 1 1/2" tubing gave more integrity to the space frame.

Quite a project you have there. I agree with the other 2 comments, looks like a MK2 or 2a, the interior is MK2/2a as well as the exterior differences. Good luck with the restoration. I have a 2a and are doing the same

Part 1 of the Grantura restoration is the easy part......We are waiting for part 2. And, the car is definitely not a 59 Mk1. More a 61 Mk2

I’m the owner of the red TVR shown in your video, if you have any questions about your restoration I will help if I can. It took me eight years to complete my restoration. It took quite a long time to figure out how to find the correct parts.

Hi! I’m also in the process of restoring a mk1. Where are you located? Is there a way to private message?

Hi. You just popped up so first I've seen this. Interesting project. I'm curious, are you going to bond the body back to the frame as original, or bond the floor to the body with recesses for the frame as the newer TVRs were built? Just in case you need to fix something later... Plus you can inspect most everything regularly. Good Luck with this. Great little cars.

They started in the 40,s and no more rotten than a yank motor

Not saying the chassis is not a 1959 mk1, but body looks like a mk2 or mk2a because of the fins over the rear wheel arches and rear lights position

Hi would you like to join the International TVR Grantura Owners facebook group - there are a few owners who could help with your restoration. Search for the group and I'll let you join. I'd like to hear more about your Grantura - do you have the chassis number - this will help determine if is a Mk1 or Mk2.
