  • Pitta dosha yoga helps reduce pitta from the head. These pitta pacifying yoga poses are a slow yin style.
Yin yoga is an extremely relaxing yoga practice that brings one from their sympathetic state (fight or flight mode) to their parasympathetic state (relax and restore mode).
This is yin yoga sequence will help ground and cool the pitta dosha.
Ayurvedic yoga therapy works to heal ones imbalance through balancing yoga poses and postures.
Pitta dosha is hot! So in order to bring balance to a high pitta, it is best to focus on twisting, opening the heart and cooling the mind through slow and intentional yoga.
    Be kind,
    Clare

Dear Clare, thanks for your videos. I love the way that you teaches us Ayurveda, in a very practical and easy way. I would like to ask you if could you make a video about Garshana (Dry Brushing). It's a practice to do everyday or once in a week? After its recommend to do abhyanga or not necessary? Thank you

Great suggestion! I love Garshana and will def try to make a video soon. It depends on the person, kapha can do dry brush way more than vata. dry brushing increasing the dryness so it wouldn't be best for vata. however vata can still practice, but less often and followed by abhyanga. Pitta and kapha can practice dry brush more often. :)

    Hi Clare,
Very nice video, thank you Clare. I am curious as to what the background noise is... Where you boiling something or is it the rain? 🤣
I too, would be interested in dry brushing for the pitta dosha.
    Namaste

haha! I believe it's the pool pump above my apartment. we're on the 4th floor and above us in the sun deck with pool and pumps. I thought it was kind of soothing haha. Will work on the dry brushing video, thank you!! :)
