The best film based on an Isaac Asimov story is Bicentennial Man with Robin Williams. (The film is based on an Isaac Asimov/Robert Silverberg novel "Positronic Man" which was based on an Isaac Asimov novelette "The Bicentennial Man". As others have mentioned, HBO created the "Foundation" TV series which may be a good watch for those who have never read the books. For fans of the book, it has mostly been disappointing. I think HBO would have been smarter to start with the easier-to-adapt novels earlier in the timeline (The Caves of Steel/R. Daneel Olivaw) novels.
16:30 Being someone with severe PTSD regarding relationships with humans after a girlfriend hired someone to kill me after I broke up with her, I ABSOLUTELY would get an Asimov-style robot. I'd prefer an Asimov humaniform robot like we see towards the end of Bicentennial Man, as 27 years without getting laid sucks. (BTW, don't hate my ex-girlfriend too much. I wasn't entirely without fault in my ex's decision to assassinate me. I did break up with her in a very matter-of-fact way that completely disregarded her feelings. But she did kinda overreact...)

They have hobbies, or pursue jobs that robots are not well equipped to do at this point in the Asimov timeline. For example: surgery, development of new robots, child care, etc. I Robot takes place in 2035. By the 2200's, (around the time the film Bicentennial Man happens) there are robots that are much better at childcare. On Earth, there is a growing amount of conflict about what robots should and should not be allowed to do. By the 4000's, robots are essentially treated the same way pre-American Civil War black slaves were treated. Matching the I Robot film timeline with the Asimov "Infinity" timeline isn't exact though.
