- This tutorial for Silhouette Studio covers So Many Features! We're talking Curved text, Drawing tools, the Modify Panel, and more. I had snagged a design from Creative Fabrica, and it needed a bit of tweaking, so I thought I'd share all of the secrets and hopefully make experiences like this a little less frustrating.
If you want to grab that design from Creative Fabrica, you can find it here.

I cut this design on the Silhouette Cameo 5. If you've been looking to pick one up, you can find it here. amzn.to/3Ovjlbw
The transfer tape that I use in this video is absolutely amazing, and it lasts forever!!

And I was impressed with the cup cradle, as well.

This is a really good graphic arts tutorial by itself on grouping / welding / offsets and other techniques most Adobe illustrator artist need to know. Well done. I just got my Silhouette Studio and am excited in this crafting part I never looked at before.
This is one of the best Silhouette tutorials I’ve ever seen….great teaching style! Thank you
Omgoodness! Thank you for the kind words, and thanks for watching. 😊
I really do love and appreciate your method of teaching.
Thank you for all you do to teach others to use Silhouette Studio.
💛💛💛
Wow, I learned so much from this one video!!! Thank you.
You already know I love Silhouette Studio BE, and I’m so grateful there are people like you who are willing to teach everyone else how to use it. I almost never use a design file exactly how it comes. I always tweak a few things to make it my own. However, it is a bummer when you pay for design files that you can’t even use without editing if you want to though.
I agree! I have a small Etsy shop where I sell sublimation designs, and I spend as much time testing the file as I do creating the original file. Unfortunately, the digital design industry has become known as a way to make a quick buck. This has lead to lower quality products IMHO.
Great tutorial!
I love it You are amazing
Great video! Your explanations are spot on, clear and concise. You are a great teacher, Thank YOU!
AMAZING AS ALWAYS!!! 🌹🌹🌹
Amazing tutorial and very easy to follow
This was pretty awesome!
I appreciate your tutorials!

I have just found you, and love your teaching style! I am really getting interested in the Cameo 5, I have the 4. My question is could you have cut the vinyl without the mat, since it is the 5, just curious.
As always, AWESOME VIDEO!!!!! Learned so much..
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, Brenda! I love your style of presentation and easy to follow instructions. Please tell me the name of your transfer tape. I'm not loving the brand I'm currently using.
😎
Hey, Mame!! It's so good to see you on this side of town. LOL. I've linked what I use. It's on Amazon. It's inexpensive, lasts forever, and works well. amzn.to/3UVzutO
This is a great tutorial 🎉 Opens up more design possibilities 😃
Thank you!
I never thought about trying that (duh😂), I’m glad you did.
@karenhaywood5736 there is so much that can be done in Silhouette Studio. I feel like we'll never think of all of it. Lol
Love this!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! 😊
Great video. I am just learning Silhouette Studio. Years ago i had the Curio original and just had the basic. I am currently using the Silhouette Studio Designers version but with sublimation. I don't own a cutting machine. Any tips for when your creating designs for sublimation?
I have a sublimation playlist! ruclips.net/p/PLYC7QsvdAQ6eNjezOU-DcIJrywZjsjZWH
but in short, you want to learn your image effects panel and the color fill panel.
how do you select in multiples? thanks
Hold down the Shift key and click on each element that you want to select.
Great tutorial, i was wondering...does it stay on good? Handwash only i gues?
The thinner designs are more likely to come off. I'll hand wash this one. I send mugs through the dishwasher if the design is a bit sturdier, and they typically hold up for about a year. If I lose a piece of vinyl, I remove the design and create something new. 😅
This was great, thank you! So when I cut thinner lines like that often it sticks to the backing and I have a doozie of a time getting it to stick to the transfer tape. Any suggestions? Are my cut settings incorrect?
Your blade setting might be too deep. This usually happens when you cut into the paper backing. Make sure that you are burnishing the back of the paper well, then peel the backing away from the design. You want to keep the backing low, almost fold it over on to itself. I also have a wide metal scraper that I use to put pressure on the design while lifting the paper, if that makes sense.
