Nice video, but Procreate, ya couldn't give us a cool tool picker and brush sizer/opacity slide like the Notes app has? What a bummer!-that, would have saved a ton of time!
That WOULD be so cool! Their current version of this is the Quick Menu, but it's not nearly as intuitive and visual as the Notes app one. But you should totally suggest this on Procreate forum - they absolutely do pay attention to user suggestions: folio.procreate.com/discussions/3
If you're referring to the pre-selected sizes of brushes, you can hold down on the opacity or the size bar, or I believe you can also press the plus in the square that appears, to create a snap point. So you can set those sizes up and go back to them each time.
Thank you so very much for this excellent instructional video. I’ve been “fussing” with the recently updated Procreate and my Apple Pencil Pro but did not know about all of these options/settings. This video is a great time saver. Thanks for your clear and easy to understand teaching technique.
Why Procreate has to torment me by not allowing me to rotate my drawing without blurring my lines 😢 Like... App-wise, is it hard for the software to analyze the pixel or the developers just don't give a damn?? 😂
There are different settings that can adjust how pixels are optimized when rotated or scaled. I can't remember exactly where to setting is, but look up "procreate bi-cubic", as I remember that being one of the options
Yes! This is my biggest issue with Procreate (which I love and use everyday) As soon as I manipulate a layer in any way it gets blurry. I dont even have to resize it. Even when I use the automatic option to rotate it 45 degrees and dont even touch it, it gets blurry. It must be an easy fix and I dont understand why they havent corrected it.
