And yes I am being lenient because this was the only live action Batman movie I had on VHS as a kid, so Nostalgia 100% in check. This film is dark when it comes to the flashbacks of Bruce Wayne of his parents funeral and the fact that he's in a relationship with a psychiatrist of all people it just shows and sets the mood. Yes Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones ham it up as the over-the-top versions of their comic book characters, but honestly who cares. This Could Have Ended as a high note for a trilogy. But we all know that didn't happen did we but putting Batman and Robin aside this film stands up on its own two legs so to the people who say that this movie is garbage that is your opinion but for me it's a damn good Batman movie. Good movie, but it would have been better if Two-Face and Riddler had an Abbot & Costello thing going on.
I like this movie, but I still think I prefer Batman Returns!

@@rajatahir3718 And now the torch is passed on to Robert Pattinson. As a huge Batman fanboy I am absolutely stoked Pattinson will be dawning the cowl.

0:50 ...Is that...is that a blender on top?
I don't give a rat's ass if people say this movie is shit compared to Batman and Robin. This film is 110% better than that garbage of a sequel to this. I know blasphemy isn't it?!?

They didn't bring back Val Kilmer's version of Batman in the new Flash film, they should have use an old clip archive of Kilmer's Dark Knight from Batman Forever for his cameo appearance in the film.
