I think adding an option to follow someone to see their "pith" would be nice. For now I seem it suffers from the same problem of BeFunnyNow: 90% of the submission are about the hot meme of the day, and after two or three times it gets stale soon. But with the feature to follow someone I find genuinely funny we could see also their previous entries.
Other than that, I love how you try to find always new things, even if they don't always blow up. Love you, Jack.

3:01 Something that bothers me is that we do still get some of those viral shitpost tweets, but they always seem to come from those checkmark accounts that are probably already stealing the joke from someone else and posting it for easy engagement (and likely monetary reasons now that you can make money off tweets).
And it also has felt like ever since 2017-18 when these kinds of shitpost tweets really got around and popular, so many people ever since have tried to be to have the next viral tweet that gets posted everywhere else online, but due to the growing toxicity of the site around iirc 2019, it’s led to some mildly viral tweets involve just, basically harassing someone.

Skip button would be huge. This isn’t like Be Funny Now where there’s only 10 answers at most. Maybe you can discourage skips by, say, giving the user two skips starting out and giving them one extra skip every 3-5 posts. But not having the option to skip ever is pretty bad when so many of the posts are actual braindead spam as a product of not having a rate limit

I’ve been catching the streams and haven’t really gotten into Pithee - mainly because I didn’t understand it beyond reading memes (like I used to do with IG, then Twitter…). "Be Funny Now" already was "YIAY" but as a game. Jack is a big fan of that dynamic.
To be fair this dynamic is pretty much timeless. And the newer form of this is also more user friendly and fun imo. Everyone knows it isnt supposed to be the next big platform or anything, so if it was made as a fun lil thing, why not have a lil fun with it as well?

i havent watched jacksfilms since middle school, about 8 years ago, and the day after deleting all my social media this video gets recommended for me. missed u buddy
What made Twitter great was that in its golden age, it was 80% funny posts, and interspersed with the occasional news story or the newest movie trailer. It made digesting alot of info from around the world alot easier and feel less bad for yourself
Now it's a whole lot of political propaganda from bots and rage bait....

It seems like a very solid foundation for a fun website to check out every day. It’s still missing something that would really grab my attention though.
I’d suggest a “write an opinion” format, where instead of the top post (or Pith) shown, it’s a topic of discussion for the day. Voting would work in exactly the same way, and the “Top Opinion” would be prominently displayed in tomorrow’s page, and then showing a new discussion topic on the same page. This changes the game from random posts to strategizing the most agreeable or disagreeable opinion.
