Enjoyed the example of shutting up shop at the end of the game by just tweaking player roles and team instructions, rather than a completely different formation. Love it!
@@TheDeepLyingPlaymaker I do appreciate the range of roles SI have implemented but I do think they haven't been as clear as they could have been in explaining what they do!
Excellent video as always. To answer your previous question about the Rangers, I think they'll need another rebuild because their core is aging out. But if they do that correctly and have Shesterkin and Fox while they're still stars then I think they can win the cup in a few years.
Questions for all viewers: be honest - in how many matches have you ever used NFB? 😅 Fun vid. Never fought of using 2 NFB with lib. Extremely wide and attacking combo. Nice!
I will try this guy out. I always wanted to play a tactic where everyone just hoofs the Ball forward. No new fashioned positional play or relationism or whatever. 😅
i use use to think you need offensive full backs to create attacking tactics. but now im realising with defensive full backs you can be more aggressive with the players ahead of them
It's really cool how functional those defensive full backs can be in an attacking formation. Like you say, when you have more defensive players, it allows you to be a lot more aggressive
WIth the NFB + Libero tactics, the NFBs stay pretty wide in attack, but doesn't that leave you very vulnerable in the half-spaces when the opponent counters and the Libero isn't back in time?
The NFB gets back into their defensive shape pretty quick when you lose the ball because they have that defensive focus. There would be issues if the CD lost the ball or a midfielder lost the ball in the DM area, but that's usually an issue anyways no matter the NFB 😅😅 With the tactic, the gap would be the weakness, similar to how a back-3 formation has a weakness out on the flanks. Just gives you options on how you want to attack and mitigate your risk
What I’m curious is how different they are to inverted fullback. Especially I’m using a libero too. Idk what to pair with him, ifb or nfb. My team is doing fine but sometimes we conceded from the wing/half space.
Essentially their difference is width. The IFB will sit tucked in next to the center back, and the NFB will stay wide. And the IFB is a little more possession focused, where the NFB likes to boot it up the field
So I can use a NFB and an IFB or a FB-De to both cover for the Libero and provide diverse options from the backline like having a BPD and a WCB in a 3 centerback backline, hmmmmm 😮
It's on the way (kinda lol). It's not scheduled for an immediate release, but hopefully it'll be in the next chunk of videos. thanks for the suggestion!
If you can use the no nonsense fullback as a 3rd Centre back, what's the point in the inverted fullback as i thought that was its specialty? (Great video as always!)
Tactical options 😃 The real answer is the IFB will sit more tucked in to the other center back and it will look more like a traditional back-3 formation. The NFB will give you that super wide formation. Neither is better than the other, just want you want to use... think of the player roles like ingredients, and you can mix and match to create something really cool 😀
I've thought about it, but I don't have any immediate plans for a series. I like my videos to be more standalone so new viewers won't feel lost and can pick up a video wherever they'd like
@@TheDeepLyingPlaymaker That makes sense! tho I think be great to see you navigate the game in real time too. Your vids are very well done! I've watched them all! On a side note - I noticed you wear a lot of NFL merch, is there any good videos for learning how to play Madden you recommend?

It's more of a preference on how you want to set up. I find that the wider back 3 makes it easier to keep possession when focusing on the flanks; one isn't really better than the other, just how you want to play :)
do inverting wing back on defend i think it’s a position no so appealing and given me no much movement or flexibility i want, maybe i was wrong so i need your vision!!

thanks! It's a super fun role

He probably will do an overhead clearance to the Target Man but accidentally put the ball into his own net
Gonna put Hakimi or Alexander-Arnold as a NFB haha

I normally only use these when defending a win but I guess they could be more useful than I thought.

I used one NFB in FM23 for my 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 lower league tactics as a pseudo-substitute to IFB
This is the first time I see a NFB in action
I use it often but when chucking defensive cover for my team. Usually dump a central defender there and change them to a NNCB
hey, people may not have used the NFB role, but there's no day like today 😆😆 I expect to see the NFB in a lot more tactics going forward
Thanks for your good work
No problem 😊

Shaq, probably....
need a segment on TNT now with Shaq talking the NFB
Now I wanna try an NFB behind an IW
any tactic that tries the NFB is good with me haha
Can you create a video about how to defend with opposition instruction? I still struggled about using that feature
