Greetings from Lebanon. Those spices are frequently used in most of our recipes. I love your recipe. You should make it with a side of air fried potatoes, some hummus and a nice mixed salad with lemon and olive oil dressing. Delicious and healthy :)
i made your recipe, but included ginger (very little) and greek yoghurt to provide some extra moisture for the marinade step... To make it even more Middle Eastern, I also used Zaatar (mix of arab cooking spices) Great recipe!
I like your cooking which is very close to mine . I am Lebanese yes coriander ,culmine and olive oil is in most of our recipes thanks for your way of teaching I am passing yours to all my grandkids and their friends cause I am over 76 now they have to make their own food and invite me
I made this today. Used chicken thighs without skin. It was so good and flavorful. I really had my doubts about the combination of spices, but i’m glad i tried it. I will definitely make it again. Thx coit.
I shared your great video recipe with my Lebanese friends to show them how well you learned the great secrets of Lebanese cooking. I really really love their food, it beats anything I’ve ever had in terms of flavors and variety. Greetings from an American - Norwegian in Oslo!
Oh gosh, you will love Lebanese food. Yes, coriander garlic lemon frequently used. Because of the lemon, they use less salt that we do. I cooked almost exclusively Lebanese for 2 years. You keep lots of smaller recipes made up in the frig, Tampade, olives, ricotta balls in olive oil and herbs, lots of little things, and it makes supper so easy to cook. I am not an expert, but love to talk Lebanese food, so so good. And, it is good for you.
I love your channel and recipes. I prefer to get a whole chicken so I can use what is left after you cut it up and make chicken broth. Thanks for sharing.
OMG! This is KILLER!!!!! Thank you for sharing this!!! The one thing I would do differently is to add more onions since they get carmelized/crunchy and are yummy even to eat by themselves. This was an experiment for me. I only used 1 package of thighs it was so good I ate all of them but two and we are a house of 4 so I would have added more packages. I served the chicken with Quinoa and Broccoli. The only thing I wished is that there would be some of its juice that can be put on top of the Quinoa so it wouldn't be as dry when taking a bite of both of them together. Also, I'm thinking a yogurt-based "dip" would be awesome to dip it into as well. Something like Raita? (Cucumber and Yogurt dip) Any ideas on how to make extra "juice?"
Based on your videos i just bought an a cosori pro 2 smart air fryer.does this one have heat from the top and bottom? I thought id do your Lebanese chicken and was checking so the top/bottom heat came up. Did I buy the right one just like you’re using or should I send it back? I haven’t even opened the box yet.
Hi, coriander is a spice that to some people tastes like soap. I am one of those people that has apparently a gene that causes this as are my son and daughter. When a recipe calls for coriander or cilantro, would you know what spice we can replace it with?
Hi Pamela- I would suggest you adapt this to an oven recipe instead so that the skin will stay crispy. You won’t get crispy skin from a Instant Pot unfortunately.
