I think he say OP That mean to say that a character or skill is OP is to say that that she is so strong that it gives the player advantage over others. It's OVER POWERED because it's better than anything else
I love how quickly elena figured out that Stefan was a vampire, usually they drag this trope out and it gets annoying. It shows how intelligent elena is that she figured it out so fast. I love how they showed her piecing the evidence together.
Bonnie does feel like TVD's version of the Scarlet Witch. Sure, she's not as powerful or unstable, but she's very enjoyable to watch, specially when she's using her powers.

I appreciate they had our main character, Elena, be smart and capable. Rather than having her be in the dark for a whole season missing obvious signs or being gullible.
Damon isn't a "good guy" or even an anti-hero, but he's also not inherently evil or anything. Damon has a complicated relationship with morality. He's a... charming bad guy-ish bloodthirsty vampire who loves his "loved ones" (more on whom those are later) and would sacrifice anyone for them (including all the puppies and babies in the world). He's likeable, but he never pretends to be righteous or on the moral high ground. Furthermore, he states several times to everyone that he's quite literally a serial killer and human lives are nothing to him. Yet, we still love him as a fascinating character to watch 😁
Yes, in order to be a vampire you have to die with vampire blood in your system. When you 'wake up' you are in transition and only have 24 hours to feed on human blood (animal blood is not enough to finish the transformation). If you don't, you die FOR REAL. Love the Matt appreciation! He always gets so much hate in the fandom and I've never understood why. Also, his piercing blue 👁👁 are so beautiful 💙 Elena's impersonation of Stefan is hilarious and spot on 🤣 Next episode is so good. It's getting so exciting!
The easiest way to tell the difference between a crow and a raven is their size. A crow is like similar in size to a seagull, or thereabouts. So, those are the ones we see here. Still loving your reactions to this show. It ramps up from here. You do get a lot of information and progression of several storylines in single episodes. I love that it didn't drag it out to the end of the season for her to finally realise duh there's something not quite right about him.

The beauty of this show that makes it so addicting is that the plot moves SO FAST. Being a youtube-only viewer for shows like this is strange because I already know the plot has jumped miles at the point you're at. All the CW shows at that time needed to have a plot punch and a juicy relationship bite every week to keep the 2009 hyperactive teenager brains (mine among them) locked in, invested, and obsessed. The camp of this era was so unapologetic and it never tried to be anything other than what it promised on the tin. We've had a lot of impressive, high-quality prestige TV in the intervening years but I feel like people's appetite for earnest TV like this has got to be back at a high point. I was visiting New Orleans last weekend and a group of dudes in their early-20s were talking about liking Vampire Diaries. It's just a fun show that I think a lot of boys/men missed the first time around due to the marketing and "vampire romance" stigma at the time but it's so fun to see them, you, and other male TV reaction channels I follow appreciate this show for exactly what it is (campy, soapy drama).
I get Blake's trying to be funny but many of his comments are very disrespectful (not just on this video), towards the audience and towards the other guys -who btw are doing a great job at reacting and analysing the shows. Maybe something to think about, I know I will when deciding if I continue watching, which makes me sad cause I truly appreciate the reactions otherwise.
do you have a specific comment that you deem to be disrespectful? if you're referring to the comments he makes towards the other guys, that's just their friendship dynamic. the back and forth thing is pretty much what they do so it might seem disrespectful to newer viewers, but if you' ve seen their vids and join their discord, you'd know that theres no toxicity in their friendship lol. just banter.
You guys seriously don’t pay attention to TVD… How in the world could you miss the fact that Elena was in the car? One of you especially, talks over the most important scene dialogue. For me, I’ll watch you guys one more time, and after that, I’m giving up if you keep staying this clueless… it’s not worth it. Maybe you should be in the same room together like other channels do. Whatever you’re doing now doesn’t really work.
