I love how they take the h11 bulb again but I like the design of the last headlights better. These just look a little too much aftermarket whereas the last ones looked more OEM.

Great vid! I am going to install these on my truck this weekend which have OEM light. I saw you pullled a light from your old model Tacoma beast lights (looked like side light). Will I have this or is this something extra that I need to order. I just found out I needed the 150 dollar harness system for the tail lights. Lol. Thanks man!

Hi Jesse! Love your videos man! I was wondering if this would fit on my 2022 Tacoma Trail Edition (SR5)?
They both look sweet, Id like the older style more if they were sequential. Do they make models like that?
Love that they take H11’s but the older style led drl “c” looks so much gnarlier, I even think it looks better than the new stock 2020 trd pro sequential headlight. Put the H11’s in the old style = perfection

I just bought the newest version of these headlights from Tacoma Beast but was bummed that I can’t rock my Auxbeam H11’s I have in my stock headlight housings. Did you ever put out that new video addressing this or are there LED bulbs that fit the TB housings?

Id say around 1-2 hours depending on your car savy level could take 3 because sometimes the clips are tricky to be honest lol

How do you change the color temperature on the DRL?
Great video as always Jesse! I am currently running dynamic diode SL1 H11’s and they have a small fan connected to the bulb to keep it cool...wondering if this would be an issue for the fit as well as the running fan.
I’ll be making a video just idk how soon on this topic :/ but I would think it would work the led just might blow out sooner then it should since it’s not getting the correct airflow I would think 🤔

Wonder if you could drill hole to run fan outside of housing and seal the hole, those DD’s are awesome I have those in OEM headlights also thinking of transferring into these
I installed these on my tacoma and i had some led lights on my oem headlights that i put in these they work my only concern is that the leds have a fan on them and its being covered by the rubber seal that goes over the bulbs. do you know if that would cause me an issuses?
Jesse, whenever I put the normal blinker on, is it supposed to be sequential? Or just a light flash, for some reason just the LED light flashes, but when I put my emergency lights on, it’s sequential yellow
Hey Jesse! Thanks for the great videos and all the details, they’re very helpful. I’ve been holding out on buying these headlights for my Taco cuz I don’t want halogen, I want full LED. I noticed Tacoma beast has these however “2016-2019 Tacoma Full LED DRL Projector Headlights” for $716.88. What do you recommend? Going this route or getting the headlights you got and swapping out the low and high beam bulbs? I’d imagine It’d end up costing about the same without the hassle of swapping out bulbs and voiding the warranty. Your thoughts please?? I need some headlights ASAP! Lol

I had gone to moab and Arizona not to long ago and there was that mud/clay stuff since it was wet and I hit a couple of pits just for fun 😅 now it don’t come off hahah
What are the best led bulbs for these headlights in particular? I purchased some bulbs from Amazon but they do not fit properly. They lock into the housing but the beam levels are way off. They give my headlights a cock eyed look when looking at them form a distance of about 20 feet or more.
@03:08 before you did this step, did you remove the bolts on the bottom of the bumper cover?
All these people in the comments are just wrong these look 10x better than the last generation my only complaint is that the yellow signal doesn’t go around the whole ring

What happens if you purchased aftermarket lightbulbs, will that void the warranty? My opinion, I like'd the square and the Half "C" DRL. Do these have to be adjusted like the previous model?
As long as you seal everything properly you shouldn’t have to warranty them but if something does happen and it’s human error then yes they’ll void them but it’s easy to install them just make sure u cover the cap correctly all around and these I didn’t have to adjust

It takes the factory H11 bulb but technically yes I will be making a video one of these days on that top
I recently got 2 sets of h11 bulbs for my tacoma to replace the OEM h11 low beams and also the OEM h9 high beams. My aftermarket h11 bulbs fit into the OEM headlight of both the high beam and the low beam. With these tacomabeast headlights can you still put a h11 bulb into the high beam location and the low beam location?
These headlights take exactly the same bulbs that your stock headlights take my friend

They look great but I think they need LED bulbs for the low and high too. The warm look of the halogen h11 don't match up well with the DRL

After a Month installed I have a problem with the DRL on the left & right Flickering when engine is on park while i turn on DRL.

I just got those head lights, the DRL leds seem very dim to me, same with the yellow turn lighting. Do you have the same issue?
It’s an issue with this new version. They blame it on if you have an SR/SR5 if you contact them but if you scroll down people with TRD trims have the same issue.
There’s definitely compatibility issues with LED bulbs right? I don’t see how a heat sink could fit into the housing for the h11/H9.

How did you remove the turn signal bulb? The tiny one in the side
U can use a small piece of clear tape wrap it around just that bulb and pull out it’s a little trick but it works I’ve done it many times lol let me know if u still have trouble I’ve done a video demonstrating it in the past
Is condensation an issue with the new model?
It can be a issue with any headlight my friend even stock, as long as u cover the back of the bulbs correctly you’ll be fine
will these work for a 2021 tacoma?? i know it says for 2016+ but just want to make sure it didnt goes to 2016-2020

I ordered these headlights for my 16 Tacoma TRD Sport and I’m having a bit of an issue. They aren’t really “plug and play” for me. I can connect my high beams, low beams, and that little plug in which you showed where the little white tape is covering but I’m left with two more connections coming from my truck and the last three prong connection coming from the headlights. Any pointers? Or am I missing some kind of adapter?
One connection u have to remove form stock headlights and transfer it over to the new ones and did u get the correct spec for ur truck
Jesse Rizo after looking back over my order I made the mistake of ordering the incorrect spec. I ordered the set for the SR5 model and not TRD. Mistake on my part. Thank you for the response.

I added these and for some strange reason my hazards work but when I use my turn signal it does not turn yellow it stays white and hyper blinks anyone have this issue?
By the looks of it, aftermarket LED headlights would not fit with the bigger backing, right? It looks as if only regular halogen bulbs will fit...?

Weird I installed mine today on my 2020 OR and everything works fine except the DRL (only when switched to DRL only) so annoying anyone have this issue?
I found out why my DRL weren’t working. The setting for DRL in the head unit lighting section was set to off for some reason. I guess it defaults to off when disconnected? Anyways the headlights work great now. Maybe this will help someone.

Technically yes it takes ur factory H11 bulb so keep that in mind ;)

Juan M always wrap all your headlights with clear vinyl that’s a must for rock chips and long life on any headlight.
@@GODSKR3ATIION Most if not all aftermarket LED complete headlights are nowhere near as good as oem quality. The housings usually let in water or precipitation, they fade, etc.

I ordered a set from Tacoma Beast and it’s been some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing from them. They took that money quick though.
The old design looks infinitely better than these. Honestly these new ones look like trash.

Check connections most the time people miss one or have it in the wrong spot
Also make sure ur parking break isn’t on/pulled up when checking for the drl because if the parking break is engaged the drls won’t light up

What’s up dude sorry havnt really been on and I didn’t just check the bulbs make sure they are inserted correctly lol, if not u can slightly adjust then but be super careful not to over adjust as u can mess up the knob
