      hey Russo what's going on man just started following you just got me a 2018 Tacoma looking to do some upgrades I have a question for you I'm going to get a 3in spacer to level the front with the 3-inch block to put in a rear what I need to upgrade my shops for that or if you have any suggestions on a decent suspension lift I'm all ears

    A tip for this install. You want to keep the remote wire and the power wire separate from the rca cables. Ideally you would like to run the rca cables on the other side of the truck cabin. This will prevent noise from the current going through the power wire.

    • @caden2377
      @caden2377 5 лет назад +14

      mingomane1 another tip for install is to use any brand except kicker

    • @mingomane1

      Caden Cannon I do like their solobaric series but the rest is meh

    • @michaelouellette7950
      @michaelouellette7950 5 лет назад +4

      mingomane1 if you use quality wire and RCA’s and the sub is crossed over correctly any noise will be too high for the sub to play

    • @JesseRizo
      @JesseRizo  5 лет назад +1

      I’ve done that in the past in another car lol it works out good to be honest 👍 , the cool thin on this amp I don’t recommend it cuz it’s not that good but it’s nice that it comes with the bass control knob so it kinda works as the toggle switch I can control the bass and just lower it all the while in the same scenario,

    Great video. The only thing I saw that you missed was you didn't tell the novices about setting the level on the high level adapter. And also, the sound dampening material is really a matter of preference. I do have to point out though, that it does take up space, so it alters you airspace inside the subs enclosure. A better alternative that I have personally used is rubberized undercoating. It deadens the vibrations to the box while not really using us a significant amount of internal air space.

    Hi Jesse, I stubbled on your channel a few days ago. I ordered the plug n play converter, didn't know one was available. I traded a guy my 10 in kicker comps/ competition box & amp for a Memphis SA110 SPD. Turns out it was a good trade after all. I did not want to drill or remove back panels from my 2017 Tacoma with only 8,000 miles on it. Hooked it up today, not really any louder but definitely fills truck with extra bass and sounds good for all different types of music I listen to. Thank you !!

    The stuffing if for the subwoofer, less space less air to move = deeper sound

    Your videos for the door speakers really helped me! Now I want to install a sub. I honestly can not but I wanted to know if you know what a Ambient monitor mic is? The installer is asking me if my 2020 off road Tacoma has that feature.

    Got a question, hopefully you can help me. I have a 2015 Double Cab with Entune non JBL. I want to redo the front stock speakers to component, delete rear speakers, and add a 10" sub behind the seat. Keeping the stock HU. What would you recommend for a budget setup. Want something better than stock without breaking the bank.

    What is the depth measurement at the bottom after removing the storage panels? I have a sub box that is 10” at the base that narrows to 4” at the top and wonder if it would fit behind the back seat after removing the storage panels like you did. Thanks!

    the acoustic padding is called PollyFill, and using a LOC to send the signals to the amp is a MISTAKE!
    Use the amps internal LOC an it will work alot better, I know I have installed car audio for over 30 yrs off an on!~

    Great vid! Did you make a separate hole in the grommet coming through the firewall for the power or did you feed it with the other stock cable coming through it? I'll tackle this this weekend. Thanks.

    • @JesseRizo
      @JesseRizo  3 года назад +1

      I think I showed it in the video but yes you can cut a small incision in the rubber boot that goes threw the fire wall there’s other wires that go threw there

    You didn't have to remove the plastic cover behind the rear seat for the box and subwoofer to fit?
