Just did this install and took me about 2hrs. Khloe always makes it look easy. The hardest part was getting the fenders back in place nice and tight. Well worth the time and effort.

Did you have to adjust the headlights (aim) or were they perfect straight from the box?

Besides the power seats in the 2020 Tacoma. Another big reason I went with the 2020 Tacoma was because of the led lights with the sequential turn signal!! Nice work Chloe!! I have the exact same silver Tacoma 2020 trd off road with the LED headlights!

Update: happy to report I finally installed my LED headlights, and they are FANTASTIC! Super easy to install using your video. Thank you also for the link to get them and the Chloe discount! I also used the time to install a Heritage grille, my truck just looks awesome! And the LED upgrade is a BIG upgrade. Much better visibility at night, plus the sharper looks as well.

These are some of my favorite headlights. Surprisingly, they played a big factor in the truck I selected. They are styled beautifully and will last a long time in terms of relevance in (light) design.

Like it I’m glad you tell people difference between OEM headlights and aftermarket headlights because most aftermarket headlights are non-DOT approved and you can be ticketed for illegal headlight too riding with my Jeep in Toyota Buddy’s

@@Ramonperez590 I know this is a super late reply but its crazy how pricey these are!! Its a $485 option from the factory and these are $1500+ if your truck didn't come with them(like mine hence why i'm here). Absolute robbery.
I made sure my 2022 TRD Sport had these LED lights from factory. They are absolutely awesome and well worth the 480 bucks for the option.

I have the 3rd gen oem led’s and can say they are worth it. So nice to not have to dick around with crappy retrofits like on my 2nd gen. Output is tremendous.

I ordered the aluminum oil filter housing after changing the oil for the first time. I had to take the pro skid plate off and use a 2 ‘ breaker bar to get the plastic one off. It was so tight I had a aluminum one on my Avalon.
Well the price shattered my dreams of having led's on my 2022 taco. I just realized the projection headlights are awesome

While I plan to also upgrade to the LED OEM lights I am glad that the halogen ones have an LED C light/drl. That was one thing I wished my Subaru had was the LED C light it just looks so much better
They look cooler definitely but that beam cutoff on the lower ones is so good!
I won’t lie, I just got home from work and started watching the video about how you were gonna change the lights. Moments later I dozed off and woke back up to you taking off the grill and the sides and was like “we still changing the lights here…right?” Haha they do look awesome though!!

I just picked up a 2023 TRD Sport that came with the OEM LED’s. They are super bright and I would recommend them to anyone as an upgrade. They are as bright as the Laser Lights on my 2022 BMW M3.
Those look so good! I wish they were LED from the factory, but hey, another mod to do!

Very detailed bumper removal video Chloe! Is there any way we can adjust that bracket where the bumper clips on the passenger side? Above the fender flare? There is a gap, while on the driver side it is perfectly lined up.
I have always found this to be difficult, and can never get it to line up perfectly. I'm not sure if there's a method other than trial and error with how much you tighten down that bolt
I ordered the leds when I ordered my 21 tacoma and I love them.

Mine came with the leds. They are awesome. Super bright. Even in the rain. Be prepared for people in little cars to constantly be flashing their highbeams at you at night though. Lol

So I’ve been told the original wiring harness must be replaced with a harness that will work for a 6 pin prong adaption, my 2021 Tacoma TRD off-road currently runs off a 2 pin harness for my halogen lights I very much dislike. So I see you have figured it out and you make this look so easy ! I’ve got to ask was the correct wire harness an expensive purchase for your new TRD pro LED headlights ? Also can you please let me know the price of them and where I can purchase them because I too want them so bad ! Hope to hear from you soon Chloe !

Chloe love your channel! I ordered the 4runner 2021 trd off road premium superwhite from the dealers. I wanted your advice if yout think I should change the suspension to the TRD Pro for better onroad handling. I regret not getting the KDSS feature. But it really doesn't offer anything off-road and I wanted the premium features in the runner and sunroof. It's not offered with kdss on the premium models . I figured maybe the trd pro set up will provide better handling. However. I wanted the KDSS system but It wasn't available on the premium model. And the trd pro models mostly don't have it. ( not sure if its an option for trd pro but the two trd pro models I saw on lots didn't have kdss). I think the best bang for buck is the trd off road with kdss. Better than trd pro and trd offroad premium. However if I wanted to make the offroad into the trd pro. Changing out the tires/rims, skidplates to and the entire suspension setup will run close to 6k. Which is still about 6k less than the trd pro cost. Iut the Door with tax. Add one I opted for sat me at 49k, msrp was 45k. Trd pro sits at a sticker price of 55k with tax and destination fees. Your looking at 60k. I reason for 60k I might as well have gotten the Lexus gx 460. It has kdss. Diff lock. V8. Ride weight adjustment.

I was just browsing thru Sparks website for my Tacoma license plate lights and yes they are about $10 cheeper but shipping is $16.
Chloe are they blackout and if the light goes out can replace the led or do you have to replace the whole headlight unit. I ask bc I heard the alpha Rex if a light goes out you have to replace the whole headlight. Thanks Chloe great video keep up the good work

Hey, so I just put these in (your code still works!). I was curious about something though. With the original 2017 lights, the DRL's would turn on even with the lights off. With these they do not, but when I turn on parking lights or headlights, they do come on, so I know they're getting power. Was wondering if this is the case for yours or of maybe I got a bad pair of FBC harnesses. Thanks in advance!
Chloe, is there a difference between these and the Trd Pro headlights besides the “Trd” “Pro” embedded in the lower part of the headlight? Install should be identical? Did you swap out the taillights to match the updates?
