Windows 10 Error 0xc00000e9 - How To Fix [Tutorial]
Well, this error usually appears from a hardware malfunction and to be more precise most of the time is because of a communication error between the hard drive and the system.
You will see by reading the lines below how you could fix this and also how you managed to get this error in the first place.
This error generally caused due to hard disk or related more to memory space issues, while you will encounter this error after installing any update or updating to newer OS version. After completing the installation process and while starting windows its shows error message “Recovery, There was a problem with a device Connected to this PC”. Furthermore, you could read “An unexpected I/O error has occurred, Error code:0xc00000e9”. This error can also be caused due to listed reasons:
Damaged or unplugged hard-disk.

Corrupted registry files.

After much head scratching and days of frustration I closely inspected my motherboard and found 3 capacitors that were swolen and totally blown. Don't forget to check for hardware issues...bad cable, something unplugged, BLOWN CAPACITORS!, etc. I moved my exact same components to another MB, used same USB and had zero problems. I hope this helps someone.

I've doned the same thing, but after I save and exit, it asks me to startup windows normally or initiate repair, if I start windows normally after around 15seconds blue screen flashes and then it resets the laptop, and I get the 0xc00000e9 error msg again. Can you help?

I think you were supposed to click "initial repair" then, go to "advanced settings" then click "startup repair" I ain't no IT guy, but if this method works, thank me later.

Thanks. Let me explain the issue. While watching a video on my laptop and work with some applications my chrome was not responding at all. It got stuck and clicked on ctrl alt del as it is doing. It did not worked as it is got hanged (video is still running I can hear the sound). I have removed the battery from it. Then i turned on the screen became black and after fee minutes I got error 0x0000e9 error as you showed us and it is not working.

MDTechVideos will do, so every time I try to update my graphics card through device manager it saids that windows has encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device and I’m trying to install the driver manually because my laptop is a bit out dated so I can’t download intel driver and support assistance hopefully that helped you get a Better understanding

Hold The Windows And B Button Before Starting your Laptop. Then Hold the power button. And Switch on your Laptop is should give many Options. One of them is to open the boot menu
