Steps
1. reset PC
2. use USB recovery drive
3. tap f12 at boot to access HDD or SSD

Thank you for the excellent presentation. Frustrated, I was ready to return my not working, error coded SS hard drive. Entering the BIOS and changing the boot menu to the new drive worked like a charm. Easy fix !!!!

I tried doing “Fully clean the drive” but the. it says, Unable to recover your PC. The system drive is too small. I have a 750gb harddrive but when I check in command prompt, it only shows a drive with 14 gb. Any solutions?

Seru hey there. I know what you’re going through as I’ve had the problem too. If you’re still stuck try to reset your PC but keep your files. Also tell me your error code and if it’s the one I had, I’ll explain exactly what to do.

once you reboot your machine the blue screen of death will reappear. this is what you need to do.Go to BIOS then to Setting after that Hard Disk Drive BBS Priorities and now the last step, select Boot Option #1, change it to the drive your Windows is installed, save and exit. Steps should be almost the same on every mobo. just look for the option i've listed. TESTED ON MSI 970 GAMING
You Should delete the Boot Manager entry for the old drive/old install of windows. That would allow the system to boot up without having to enter the boot menu (F12) and select the boot manager on the Samsung SSD everytime.
Thank you so much! I set my BIOS settings = Startup USB Hard Drive and it still wouldn't load my USB with the Windows Installation. I went to the other boot settings and saw " Choose Boot Device" and chose my SanDisk USB and it worked!

Ah, no problem. You helped a lot. I thought I had to change my hard disk at my local computer repair shop. At least that's what they recommended. I'm currently at home setting up my PC. As I was doing a downgrade but failed.

Yo arregle mi Pc, tenia windows 8 le dí encender f11sin dejar de pulsar, entré en esos pasos porque estoy en US pero eliges el language, de ahi le diesos pasos que el dice, pero le di al primero de la derecha me salio cmd, el bios le di totepad y me abrio la ventana le dí, archivo open, y me salio la computadora le di usuario fotos. compre una momoria externa,
Salve mis fotos, despues apague la pc, repeti el encencer y ahora si segui los pasos de el, y le di resetear equipo como de fabrica y con la ayuda de un tecnico de microsoft un colombiano de Dios sigo Yo, me ayudo y primero buscamos el numero de serie del w8 instalado, de ahi bajamos w8.1 y despues w10....me quedó el sistema nuevo, lo malo que jo se escucha sin bocina tengo que usar una externa...ya no me acuerdo si esta se coencta con el cable verde al monitor pero al menos sirve con audifonos....y con uan bocina externa...

For me it was same as for you..it is working in boot settings and i can find my ssd there.
But i am confused because i have two ssd's and one whats showing in boot options is the one where i did not install windows 10 on..i installed it on other ssd i have and this one is not showing in boot options..LOL?
Also,when i restart my pc blue screen of death is showing again..so now when im turning on my pc i need to spam fricking F2 always..can i fix this somehow? So it automatically choose Boot option? so i dont need always press F2 when turning ON

Let me tell you the correct way to do this
Firstly,
Take a backup of your windows
Or
Make sure you have a windows stick/dvd/bootable USB to install windows
Then,
Open back panel and remove HDD then insert SSD into main slot .
Boot the laptop into BIOS
insert your windows installation media
Start installation normally
Then,
After installing
Insert the HDD into the secondary slot
KEEP SSD in first slot!
*Restart the PC*
And Voila YOU ARE DONE
this will 100% if you had this error after SSD upgradation.
Now go and try❤️
