Johnny Thunders is one of those ridiculously under appreciated guitarists/musicians, hell even the Sex Pistols borrowed his guitar sound. Good job on the cover, lots of energy just like Thunders
@Screamin' Thunders I'm from Detroit (blow the reveille)! How old are you? (WOW, is THAT condescending or what! Sorry.) It was actually a rhetorical question meant to be a compliment. In this day & age; With drum machines 'n 'spoken word' 'n _'corporate-producers'_ It's refreshing to see someone chasing the spark of *REAL ROCK AND ROLL!* Whatever you're doing; *KEEP DOIN' IT!* I posted your *'Hurtin'* video in my 'Johnny Thunders' FB group. The song's creator ( *Henri Paul Tortosa* ) is a member. He is having health problems right now. *Your rendition will make him feel better!* *MUSIC IS MAGIC!* Peace. Stay Healthy! - Dave B.
@@ScreaminThunders well how'd you figure out how to play it? In the first two chords I see you going up a string? I go from 7/9 up 5/7 on the A, D, and, G strings. I just want to know how to play it right man cuz I love Johnny Thunders and I love this song.
@@eliwebster509 I'm from Detroit (blow the reveille)! We're all playa's trying to emulate great songwriters music. So, Please-Please don't take offense. I don't believe in using guitar tabs. Ever. That's just IMHO. I believe it takes you down a path that won't fully succeed. But, when it comes to Johnny Thunders; *That GOES DOUBLE!* He had a _'reckless'_ style (playing AND writing) that says: "The only way you'll get it is by ear." Peace. Stay Healthy! - Dave B.
@@ScreaminThundersborn in 99, respect bro, I picked up guitar in 2015 in high school acoustic, I was intimidated by electric and put guitar down for years now I’m gigging with my drummer(best friend since childhood) after picking up electric in early 2023 I learned by playing along to records like this, I grew up on all this stuff, love classic punk/ classic rock. That was great playing man, really, respect.

Johnny Thunders reminds me a lot of Jimmy Page
Just an all around great musician...from others who knew him said he was actually a good bass player too and obviously a great song writer
