I have the three red badge lenses 8-16, 16-55 ,50-140 and the 33 F1.4 lm wr i use them for all my commercial work and im so happy with the results,i wanted to try the 13mm from veltrox but I’m not comfortable buying third party lenses.
I hear ya but the Viltrox lens feels like a native lens tbh. Autofocus is good, produces great images, built well and is reasonably priced. Give it a go if you can
Hey ı am using xh2s and viltrox 13 mm f1.4 but some video shooting indoor with lights everywhere different colors especially blue. I can see 3or 4 big point blue lights in the video and photo. how can ı fix that
For stills, the Fuji 50-140 2.8 is a killer beast! It continues to serve me well, and is blindingly fast for its generation of lenses… I think I’d forego the sigma for the fuji 18-130 ( or whatever the new Pz lens zoom range is), as that lens is parfocal and pretty awesome, and a good focus length range
Any thoughts on the TAMRON 17-70MM F/2.8 ( and even the SIGMA 18-50MM F/2.8 ) I’ve seen the tamron in many recommendations for best aps-c sensors, and for a similar price point to the sigma 18-35 1.8 you save quite a bit as no need to get an adapter, would you argue the first two lenses I mentioned would be as versatile for video as the sigma 18-35 1.8 ( although we’re looking at a f/2.8 vs f/1.8, is there really that much of a difference ) ? Cheers
Hey Ricky, look the AF system is still not the best if you're comparing it to something like Sony however it's solidly good and I've found it to be reliable, even when interviewing as well. Hope this helps - I really rate this lens
The Viltron 13mm is such a gem, it has become my favourite Fuji lens the second I got it some months ago, and still is. I use it with the X-S10 (and soon upgrading to the X-S20). What do you think of the new Tamron 11-20mm F2.8? - seems potentially game changing for Fuji.
Yeah the Viltrox lens goes everywhere with me. Big fan of it still. I’m also looking at getting the new X-S20 but I haven’t really played with many Tamron lenses. Why do you think it would be game changing?
Hi does the Sigma lens have video stabilisation? Also does the camera itself have stabilisation for video like walking around or will it come out all shaky?
@@balthazarinacio4443 I'm afraid I don't have the answer to this as I've done no tests without it. I don't own a Canon system which is what this lens mount is designed. All i do know is the AF is good and I've not many issues.
What are your top 3 lenses for the XH2s?
I shoot everything with the Fuji 16-55 f2.8 and I LOVE it!
I’m very interested in that lens - you’d recommend it? Any cons you’ve noticed?

Viltrox 13mm is a very pleasant surprise, I adore it.
It really is a great lens!
Thanks for this Jay! Sooooo tempted by the Viltrox.
No worries man - For it's a price range, I think the Viltrox is a must!
I have the sigma 18-35 and 50-140 for video and the 56mm for photography on my XH2s. All I need.
Always great content Jay!
Thinking of getting the Sigma 10-18 as I already have the Sigma 18-50 and Fuji 50-140.

Call me crazy, but I've enjoyed using the viltrox 85 1.8
Yeah you like it? I’ve yet to get my hands on one

Hey Jay, are you able to use any constant focus AF with the sigma, and is it usable for interview work? Thanks!

Hey ! First, I love your content ! I wanted to know if the sigma 18-35mm art is a great lens for photos or it's only for videos ? Thanks a lot !
Hey there, yeah it’s a great lens for photography too! Gonna be making a video on this lens alone soon. So stay tuned
@@Jay_Ducker Ok nice !! I will !! ;) Also another question about the AF with the Fringer, is it as fast as without the fringer ?

@@Jay_Ducker Yes ok I understand. And do you recommend for photos the sigma 18-35mm with the fringer or the Viltrox 13mm ?
@@balthazarinacio4443 Well... one is a wide lens and the other is a zoom lens so it depends what you're shooting. Basically they've both great haha
does that SIGMA lense adaptor work with Canon EF-S lenses as well ? also great video man !!
Thank you my friend. I would assume so.
I keep hoping Sigma will make a 18-35 for Fuji natively.
Yeah that would be great
Mmmmm.... interesting
Nice ❤
Glad you like it
