I own the Fujifilm X-H2s. I've been a pro photographer my whole life, 66 years. I would not trade this camera for any other camera in the world. I had a Fujifilm XT4 and Canon R7, and sold them both, after testing the 3 in open shade, sun light, and low light. Fujifilm X-H2s was the best of all in all situations. I like it so much; I bought a second one.
that is amazing! love to hear it from someone with so much experience!
thoughts compared to the x-s20?
great small little camera. I wouldn’t use it in a professional context due to its lack of dual recording but for a personal cam or someone starting out its amazing
Love my xt4
Coming back to let you know that this video sold the camera to me over the S5IIX and I don’t regret a single thing. It’s incredible. I just shot my son’s birth a few days ago, and all the footage and stills I was able to get were incredible. They blew everyone away. Thank you for this video. I love this camera so much!
wow love to hear it! appreciate you coming back to let me know. it’s an amazing camera
I really appreciate all the content you’ve made on this camera. I’ve been doing social media work for local businesses in my town with a canon m50 and you inspired me to make the switch to the XH2S. I’ve definitely experienced some learning curve but your videos have been a huge help! Big ups
Thanks Sean! A buddy of mine made a similar switch and has been super happy as well. So glad to hear that the videos have been helpful!
It's the review we've all been waiting for! 🎊 Don't feel bad about adding another needle to the haystack, we all needed this one!!
Thanks John :) But real talk, I hope this one isn't the camel that breaks the straws back :)
Seriously considering the upgrade after watching this in depth video and seeing all the stellar examples of your work. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful! It’s a great camera for sure :)
This is easily the best xh2s footage I've seen, really really helpful to see some unsharened xh2s footage as (like many) that's been my concern, but this proves its easily solved and everything else was super useful/interesting/beautiful! Thanks for making Blase :) Might be time to upgrade my xt3...
Wow thanks so much! Glad to hear that!
Best info ive found on this camera so far. Couldnt tell at all that doing this first camera review type video maxe you nervous. Nailed it.
Thanks so much! Super helpful to hear :)
Super in-depth and informative review! Really like how you put this together 👍
Thanks so much!
Amigo en español no hay casi videos para Filmmaking con esta camara, estos dias he visto muchos videos en Ingles y finalmente gracias al tuyo he decidido comprarla al ver el tremendo trabajo que haces, mil gracias
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful for you!
Hey there. Just want to say thank you for a lot of your work and videos. Been able to take some tips and it’s worked wonders.
So glad to hear that! Appreciate you letting me know.
Great review! We had basically the same analysis. It’s a great camera with an incredible image at an insane price
Thanks Aaron! Glad you enjoyed it!
We tend to loose ourselves in the features and sometimes having troubles choosing between cameras over different feature, but we forget to ask ourselves what we actually need. I love your approach of simplicity and also showing that you have the specs available but you don’t really need them (such as pro res, raw etc) and really showing what for it’s important for the camera. I am also shooting with XT3 and and thinking to make an upgrade to the x-H2s
Thanks so much! Really appreciate that and glad that my approach is helpful to see!! The XT3 is such a great lil cam :)
I've just upgraded from the XT3 to the XH2 😀
X-h2? Or X-H2s? @@nmgarland
This is the best review of the X-H2S I have watched. Thank you. I was, though, given you are not keen on rigs, or using the ProRes internally that the newer X-S20 would also be perfect for your needs. Having said that rolling shutter is no doubt so much better on this camera with its stacked sensor. Thanks for making a great, detailed review. Gonna go watch you other videos now.
Thanks Karl! Super encouraging to hear!! Yeah the XS20 looks great as well! My main concern with it as an A cam was the record limit as I heard it didn’t last super long. That said tho, looks super solid! Would love a chance to use on. Hope the rest of my videos are helpful to ya! Thanks so much :)
Really great review and great captures. I’ll look at your Luts ;)
Thanks so much!
Great Video Bud, loved the production quality and how you explained everything!
Thanks so much 🙏🏽
GREAT VIDEOS!!! keep it up man! You are doing a great job capturing every aspect !!!!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words
Bro, what an incredible review!
Thanks dawg! Good time kicking it this week!
what a solid video. very well done thank you
thanks sam! appreciate ya and glad you found it helpful ✌🏻
Incredibly thorough review well done
Thanks so much!
When I read the comments, I realise how complicated and technical each and every camera and its settings are. On top, all of the experience and talent for all the photogs who have tips and tricks to get exactley what they want in film and photo by tweaking and tricking each play. Wow. Its overwhelming. Blase videos are great! To the point, easy flow and exclellent examples. Thank you to everyone for the insightful comments.
Glad to hear it was helpful! Thank you 🙏🏽
16:43 Yes!!! Thank you. It is a huge aggravation to me that it seems every single RUclipsr requires the side hinged flip out screen, it’s simply so they can film themselves. Meanwhile so many regular filmmakers and photographers don’t want it…the tilt behind the lens axis is far better in every way. And in over 500 weddings I’ve never had to film or photograph myself!
But will they listen to us? No.
Excellent video and thank you again.
Haha yeah I know that can be annoying. Being on this side of it, it is pretty essential if you are wanting to film yourself efficiently without an external monitor but yeah its not needed by everyone out there. Hopeful the three way screen will be introduced in the future! Glad you liked the video!
I don't think it's that big of a downside. I use it to rest against my wrist to stabilize filming and getting low shots. I also like that I can flip it inside to protect the screen while traveling. I wouldn't say it's just to film ourselves, but it is a nice feature to have in case we want to.
This is amazing and so detailed for newbies. Thank you
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it.
❤ im use xh2s right now n i love it ❤
good to hear! yeah its a great camera for sure
Fuji's grain is perfect! Looks like what you add in post.
It really is!
You are my new favorite youtuber! Not because of content, but you shoot Fuji, have beard and best of all - Pivovar means brewery in my language and I love beer more than anything else!
hahahahah wow! all the things. I appreciate it. and indeed it does!
Wow, really inspiring video, thanks for sharing your priceless experience)))
Thank you!
00:19 - AMAZING imagery! I love my X-H2S :)
Thank you!
I purchased this camera a couple of days ago as an upgrade to my X-T30. I'm excited to get it later this week. I have a couple of Fuji primes, but looking at the Tamron 17-70 2.8 to use for video.
Sweet! Yeah that lens looks cool. Would love to try one out sometime.
Lovely video dude! I get a clean feed to my atomos ninja V 6.2k without any issue, perhaps it’s the monitor you’re running my man
Good to know. Yeah I guess to clarify, would love to be able to send a clean feed at 1080p or 4K for monitors that don't accept a 6.2K signal. This was possible on the XT3 when filming 4K60 to send an FHD feed so was mainly speaking to them adding back that feature.
awesome color grading. awesome camera.
thank you!
Thanks for this video
you are welcome! glad you liked it!
Great review! I wonder, can you speak about your storage solution and SSD/HDD serup you got going at 17:40? Looks neat!
That would be a fun video. I'll add it to my list. In short: SanDisk Extreme 2TB SSD for active projects. WD Elements 5TB's for 2 active backups of current projects. WD Elements again for archive drives. Client project footage also backed up to Dropbox. Other things in that shot are just the Angelbird CF Express B Reader and then a 4 slot SD card reader. Almost everything connects via one USB C cable to the laptop. SSD is then connected via USB separately straight into the laptop. Hope that helps!
Great review
Thank you
Probably one of the best if not the best reviews I’ve seen on this camera. I’m definitely buying one it will be a good upgrade from my XT3. With the high ISO of the Flog 3 how many stops of ND do you use if you want to shoot let’s at 1/100 shutter and f1.4. I don’t have an ND and I want to get a one.
Thanks so much! Would completely depend on how much light there is (full sun vs shade, indoor, etc)
love it
thanks!
Yea men thanks for this
You are welcome. Thanks for letting me know
When I first received mine, I used a Metabones speed booster to convert to EF because that’s all I had. If I used my Helios 44-2, it was fine. If I used my Sigma 24-70, it would freeze like you said and wouldn’t reset unless I took the battery out.
So odd. Good to know. Someone else on here mentioned it might be caused by using a v30 card which is also what I use so maybe that is the issue? It hasn't happened to me in a while so maybe its been fixed via firmware.
I had a similar issue of the camera freezing and the power button didn't work. I had to take out the battery. It happened only once and I was taking photos, no video. A couple days ago I upgraded the firmware, hopefully that will fix it. Great review by the way, your footage looks amazing.
I love the XH2S, so far very happy with it. I've been doing mostly photography, and sometimes I found that it struggles with low light autofocus, but besides that, it's an amazing camera.
Thanks so much! Glad to know that fixed it for ya. I haven't had it happen in a super long time so also assume it was firmware related. Really appreciate the kind words!
Fantastic
thank you!
Great Review! If this camera had shutter angle and anamophic modes I would bought it over the s5iix.
Feel that. The S5iix looks very dope
desqueeze is apparently coming soon in a firmware update!
@@sonpois Thats great. Im ready for it ;)
@@sonpois How do you know?
Love mine. Share the same pros. So good for the price.
Thanks man! Yeah its such a great lil cam :)
It was so interesting to listen to how your voice modulates between “Mellow Mike” and “Jordon Peterson” 😅. It so strong at 8:55. Your voice is really unique.
Haha you are not the first to mention Jordan Peterson but I honestly can’t hear it 😂
@@blasepivovarThat makes it even better 😁. Thanks for the review, your testimony for this camera is so honest. What I find most helpful is where you describe all the ways you compensate for the drawbacks and limitations of the camera. I’ve had an S5IIX in my eBay cart for the last two months while I saved, but after reading about the Fuji and watching this review, I really want this camera more.
God bless ✝️
Nice review. Someone else may have mentioned this, but you can get a clear HDMI output on the XH2s. You are missing a setting. That's how you can record to an external recorder w/o the setting burn in. If you can't find it, let me know and I will find it and let you know. I tend to shoot to the Ninja V+ so I have that setting disabled.
Cheers!
Thanks! Yeah apologies if that wasn't the most clear. I am able to get a clean feed to my monitor when recording in 4K which is great but when recording in 6.2K I don't think there is a way to send a lower resolution to the monitor. My monitor can't accept a 6K signal and so I am left to send it with the info display which decreases the quality. On my XT3 you were able to set the HDMI output to HD or 4k which was nice for adapting to different monitors input requirements. Was just surprised they took that out of the menu system.
@@blasepivovar I use the Ninja v+ which accepts a 6k signal, so it hasn't been an issue for me. Best of luck on all things
@@ScottClintonPhotography ah sweet that good to know! thanks Scott!
Just found your channel out and I love your content man. I’ve been wanting to shoot more fun cinematic projects at my church other than interviews, to practice lighting and grading. I shoot with a 6k pro but your videos are so nice. Do you have any recs on what content to shoot??
Ah thanks so much man! Love that. I think in a church context tons of options for short cinematic content for social media. Could be a way to add some variety if they often use a lot of 'static' graphics + text for social media to switch it up and have them be more video based. Just simple compositions sort of like moving photos if the makes sense! Hope that helps!
@@blasepivovar that actually helps a lot!! Thanks man!
Global settings, yes!!!!! Thank you
You got it!
Kansas City represent! Would love to link up over coffee sometime
Aye. DM me on Insta and let's make it happen!
I've definitely experience the weird freezing issue when i was using the xt4 but on my xt3 and xpro3 i have never experienced those issues
so interesting. I also have never experienced it with the XT3. must be an odd bug or something
hello blase, i wish you would make a thorough review of sigma 24-70 using fringer to xh2s, i wish to know how it performs in video.. thanks a lot!
I talk about it some in my lens video here: ruclips.net/video/S8C5BPDjPss/видео.html - Not sure what else I would talk about when it comes to using it but let me know if you have any questions!
Hey Blase, thanks so much for a great review, one question. How do you set up your mic situation for the talking head shots? Do you have a wireless transceiver into the camera or something similar?
Thanks so much! For this the mic just plugs directly into a Tascam Dr-10L. I have never really used wireless as there always seems to be frequency / interference issues.
Hello. What filters do you use for outdoor shots for the XH2s? The video was very well done. Thanks for your effort.
Currently testing out the Nisi True Color 1-9 Stop VND but having mixed thoughts on it at the moment.
The freezing glitch has happened on my X-T4, and I'm surprised that the x-h2s does it, too. In my opinion, I think that it has to do with the SD card's data transfer, especially with video recording. It's also happened with a Godox transmitter.
interesting! yeah someone else said a similar thing. it hasn’t happened to me in a really long time and i am still using the same cards. assuming it got patched via firmware, at least on the xh2s
Quality review my friend, i have been using my trust xt3 since release and am looking to get a second camera for a few reasons. Now im wondering how long an xh3 is likely to be. Can i ask what monitor you use? Thank you
Thank you! The monitor is linked in this video: ruclips.net/video/7DGqO10dt8I/видео.html
Thank you for this great review! I'm not sure if you had the opportunity to test the Lumix S5IIX, but if you did, in terms of quality and video features for run and gun situations, which one would you choose between the Fuji X-H2S and Lumix S5IIX? Cheers
I haven't had the chance to test the Lumix but it looks super solid. Would depend on what you are primarily shooting but I don't think you could go wrong with either. I think both cameras would perform great in run and gun situations and video quality seems pretty similar. Imagine that isn't the most help but might just come down to you wanting either a crop sensor or full frame as that will then affect what lenses you use. Some other videos might be helpful as well: ruclips.net/video/ISDcXltT9WI/видео.html and also ruclips.net/video/nHhCQm14VRc/видео.html
The Fuji seems like an awesome camera. I'm torn between which one to go for because, even though Fuji's got that killer color science that I personally dig, my main gig with the camera is shooting videos on the fly during trips, as well as for professional work. So, having solid IBIS and autofocus would be a plus. Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply! It really helped me out 💛
I still don't know why the X100 series has internal ND but not the X-H2(s). Lets hope Fuji release a cinema camera one day 🤞
Feel that. Could be wrong but I think these camera companies are having to pick between internal ND and IBIS due to where the tech is at. Is there a camera that has both? I am sure one day both will be possible
Hey mate. Great review! Really interested now in the camera, since I initially wanted to buy the Sony FX30. I know you talked a lot about autofocus in terms of people but how would you consider the AF on objects/cars/etc.? I would need the camera also for e.g. car-cinematics and gimbal shots
Great question. I don't think I can confidently speak to that as I have never shot cars. Objects wise it gets along fine for me but it won't have object tracking. I mostly use point based AF like I mentioned in the video to tell the camera where I want it to pull focus from.
Just realized the XH2S does have a subject tracking mode that does include cars and motorcycles but haven't tested personally.
@@blasepivovar Thank you very much for the answer! Really helps me out. More and more I get the feeling that the X-H2S is the better FX30.
As you mentioned you mainly use point based AF. Can I ask you how fast the AF is on that one, for example with the Sigma 18-35? I am coming form BMPCC and if I would buy the X-H2S I don't have to buy new lenses - BIG PLUS Point.
Cheers mate
what a wonderful Review Man ! i have an issue with my X-T4 that overheat just with 4K 25 FPS, and so i'm planing to upgrade to X-H2S. Do you think i'll have no issue with the X-H2S ?
I have never had my XT3's or XH2S overheat if that is helpful to hear. I just make sure and have my "AUTO POWER OFF TEMP" setting set to High rather than the Standard default.
@@blasepivovar Thaanks Man !
thank you very much for your video!
I have a question, could you tell me what lens, what codec and what settings you used in this interview shot?
12:02
thank you so much
I actually have a whole breakdown on channel for that shoot. Settings wise I am also always rocking the same - 200mpbs long gop, 422 h265. Classic chrome or flog 2 but for that shoot it was my classic chrome recipe
ruclips.net/video/3mA8kUfko4g/видео.htmlsi=ETStw0ZwOs8uiGYw
Thanks for the review. How did you make this old looking style at 6:41? I dont mean the the cutted frames up and down. I mean the colour and the unsharpness? Is the colour a fuji lut? And the unsharpness is done in post?
In that section I am cutting between digital XH2S footage and then actual super 8mm film. Forgot to add a title mentioning that. Wanted to show someone both as I am filming most weddings these days on both formats. Sorry for any confusion!
@@blasepivovar cool, thanks. Looks good in the mix.
Excellent review, though what exactly did you mean about the HDMI output signal and degraded image? Clarification would be awesome. Does it mean you cannot enable video monitoring settings such as frame guides or LUT preview etc that some monitors come with and are stuck with the camera settings being mirrored on the external monitor?
Good question. When using "Output info display" the picture going to the monitor is slightly more blurry / less crisp then having that setting off. Most of the time I have it off and then use LUTS, frame guides, etc built into my external monitor. Hope that helps
@@blasepivovar Thanks.
hi Blase, question about the SD card. Could your SD card (sandisk extreme pro) unlock/record 4k 120p?
Thanks in advance!
Yo! You should be good! I have no issues dual recording 4K 120p at 360mbps H265 All-I 422 to both the CF and SD card.
thank you@@blasepivovar 🙏
How does the X-S20 compare? :) - also what do you use when you do post stabilisation? - I find the one built into Final Cut adds horrible warping and is unusable. Are you not tempted by the smaller/lighter native lenses?
Can’t speak from experience as I haven’t had the chance to use one but looks pretty solid. Really depends on your use case but for that price range the XT3 would be my personal choice
Yes, I had same issue with screen freezing but that is when I had U3 V30 sd card instead of V90 card while shooting in 6K once I put my V90 card in camera it works smooth. I have the new FujiFilm X-S20 and its amazing.
Interesting! Good to know. I regularly dual record 6.2K at 200mpbs to a v30 card and the CF Express with no issues so feels odd to me that the camera would freeze while not doing anything but glad to know that fixed it for you! The XS20 looks dope
Will the XH2 produce same quality video as your amazing takes?
It seems like a pretty similar camera so I would say the image I could get out of it would be more or less the same.
This camera is soo sooo nice, the only thing I don't like is the 1250 f-log iso, and the lack of internal ND filters,
Don't really like having to have 2 nd filters if i wanna shoot F-log out doors.
I have the 23mm 1.4 and the autofocus is a little better than the 18-35mm sigma,
Yeah totally agree with you on the f-log iso as well as the lack on internal ND's! Good to know about the AF. Crazy the differences in opinions out there when it comes to AF performance and how people feel about it. Thanks for the comment as always Gunnar!
Can I ask what other hybrid cameras have internal ND?
@@ghostgums not really a camera on this level, but fuji x100v has one, sony rx100iv has one,
I think they cant have ibis and nd filters at the same time,
If fuji had the nd filters on these cameras it would be in a league of it’s own and be competing with cinema cameras
My X-T4 freezes when switching between photo and video quite often especially when running it for longer periods of time. The only way I'm able to reset it is pulling the battery, which is always nerve racking because I don't know if the SD has recorded all the data.
what sd card do you use?
does the vignette of the 18-35 sigma lens bother you?
In short no. While the lens has some at f1.8, I don't regularly notice it in scenarios I am filming. Some of the more noticeable vignetting in this footage is caused by a new VND I am testing. Hope that helps!
All appreciated but the image is a little too all over the place and variable here and its clear that personal projects get a very different look. Im sure this is down to the profiles but as pretty as they are they do look a little effected. Couldn’t find a frame that i thought oh ok that’s what the image looks like. This is not a fault if the camera but an intentional function of how you use it so differently across projects. Im not sure if it’s intentional but the clue is possibly in your use of super 8. The images range from sub iphone to soft and poetic rather too quickly and a caption on the frame would help so much to know what profile you are shooting. Long video but its clear the effort that was made and it’s really appreciated. Other reviewers have identified a look that this camera has but im still unsure how consistent and out of the box that is. In using every camera know to man i can attest to the fact that every camera has an absolutely distinct image out of the box and this is more so with moving images and cinema cameras. I want to love this camera as i have always had a soft spot for fuji and cant quite believe except for the politics and obvious marketing investment needed why they don’t make a cinema camera. Maybe the kinefinity mavo s35 ii is a test case. Their heritage has alway been stills. Anywho like the film i really want to like this RUclipsrs for all his honesty and effort and I appreciate that this is his first video to camera but i would say its super comprehensive but super long and it might not hurt to lift the tone of your voice a little. It neednt be a performance and of course be yourself but its a pretty below conversational tone and it does feel pretty oppressive at least to me after a while. I was keen to hear the content but in all honesty im sorry to say that as a consequence I couldn’t wait for the video to end. That said the detail of the review meant that I didn’t want to miss a valuable detail or perhaps more honestly didnt want to have to watch the video through again. I hope this doesnt sound overtly critical. Maybe if you check out blaine westrops videos you’ll know what i mean. It’s absolutely nothing personal and everyone has there own taste. Thanks so much for all that hard work and good luck.
Hey Ken! Just responded to your other comment on my other video and then saw this one! Thanks again for the thoroughness in your response. Not sure how to receive the comment other than critically lol. Sorry to hear the review wasn't what you were hoping for. I have a few other videos that go more in detail about how I use the XH2S, profiles, settings, etc and also how I grade the files in post that might be helpful for you to watch. Based on the comment on my other video as well as this one, I may not be the best person for you to learn from 👍
The amount of effort that goes on to make these videos only the one who creates can experience. To be able to watch a video like this for free on RUclips, so grateful.
10:13 👍
😀
Do you prefer handheld shots or gimbal?
Handheld for most things. I don't own a gimbal but have rented them if I need one for a specific shot
I’m thinking of switching from the xt4. Is there a huge jump when it comes to image and video quality?
Would totally depend on your filming scenario. I think for a lot of people they would not see a massive improvement in 'image quality'. I would say that there is a notable difference IF you are comfortable shooting and grading F-log2 as I think that is where the money is at with the XH2S. When it comes to filming in a Rec709 profile like classic chrome or just using F-log 1, my XT3 and XH2S feel pretty similar with the XH2S being subtly better overall. I think the main improvements from the XT4 would be the IBIS, Image quality with Flog 2 and 6.2K open gate being nice for the additional vertical resolution for cropping in post or making vertical content. Hope that helps!
@@blasepivovar I appreciate this. Thank you very much.
@@JustinhoPaolo Happy to help!
I think i made a mistake, a year ago, i opted for the fx30 instead of this camera...
they are pretty different cams for sure

what is the best all round lens for weddings for this camera im thinking of getting the amron 17-70mm f/2.8, is that a low enough aperture
I haven't personally used the 17-70 but have heard mixed things. Some people love it, others have sold it and then opted to do what I've done and adapt the EF 18-35 or EF 24-70. I shoot weddings with both those lenses and the 24-70 would be a great all around lens if you are just wanting one. F2.8 would be low enough for me.
@@blasepivovar What aspect of the those canon lenses is missing from native x mount lenses ?
also thinking if its even worth upgrading from the xt3 to the Xh2s? i understand from features point of view but iv seen allot of side by side videos of the xt4 vs xh2s and i dont see any difference in low light or dynamic range so im confused now. what's your opinion on this. I know you had an xt3 too.
It's more about the long game for me when it comes to investing in lenses. This video might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/S8C5BPDjPss/видео.html @@edi18912
Good question. XH2S has better dynamic range if you are shooting in F-Log 2 and are comfortable grading it. Less wobbly corner IBIS. No crop in 4K60. Open Gate 6.2k. No record limit for long interviews. Those features are what sold me on the XH2S coming from the XT3. Does the image at the end of the day still look pretty similar - yes. Hope that helps @@edi18912
Oregon coast?
Indeed :)
I'm thinking to sell my a7 iv for this... a7 iv is a real monster, but it's hard to find love to use it.. anyone made this switch?
others are free to chime in but i will always advise people to use what they have as a new camera will not change their desire to go make things in the long term. in the short term a new camera can definitely be exciting but if i personally owned the a7 iv I would be using it as much as I can as it is a very solid camera that is able to produce stunning images/video. would totally depend on your use cases if the Fuji would be better for you. hope that helps :)
@@blasepivovar yes, it's really a solid camera... i'm thinking about that.. tnx
I don't know why i find the fuji image more pleasing.. also after grading..
@@fridadeivizsla2729 yeah i think if the way the image looks is your top priority, fuji is at the top for the money. this video speaks to that: ruclips.net/video/8muIXr_wZVM/видео.html
@@blasepivovar thank u, yes for the image look taste i'm between Fuji and Blackmagic, ma B. Is too much heavy and no photo features, so Fuji win for me. In the past i used Sony and Canon and Panasonic. Canon and Panasonic i don't really like, Sony with a lot of post production.. so..
Is it still worth it???? It's only been out for a year and you wonder if it is still worth it. OF course, so are the XT3, XT4, XT5, XH2....
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you are frustrated. It is not something I have personally been wondering but is hands down the most popular question dm'd to me ever since Fuji dropped the XH2, XT5 and XS20. People have asked if I am content with my purchase with Fuji dropping some cheaper options and so was just trying to speak to that :)
try to get enough air in before speaking... sometimes your voice goes... haywire? come on, 4 times in 1,5 minutes is too much of that.
other than that: awesome visuals. absolutely awesome.
Edit:
they say bad audio is worse than bad footage. what you're doing here with your voice here is a masterclass in that. awesome footage though.
thanks for the feedback
What is wrong with thw audio? Seems your voice is slipping.
Idk. Sounds fine on my end. Could be my vocal cords...
What’s the one reason it’s not perfect for you 😱 cliffhanger
made a whole video about it but the short is that it won't be my A cam forever as its not a cinema camera / isn't as conducive to a larger production environment. however it does have its place for sure and its an amazing camera. will end up upgrading to a more cinema style body down the road.
Maybe I’m wrong but Sony cameras video samples always look better to me on RUclips
We all have different preferences for sure :)
"Still worth it" like it's 15yo

That black & white music video footage looks insanely good! How do you color manage flog2 on resolve? I don't wanna use conversion luts, I'd like to use a DWG intermediate workflow ideally.
Thanks so much! I just work in DaVinci YRGB / Rec709-A and grade using my LUTs.
Even if you selled it, is a work horse camara, i will buy someday
no plans to sell right now. it’s an amazing camera for sure!
