already had a small 8oz portion of leftover flanken cut smoked beef short ribs in the freezer......will reduce the amounts and make this for me and my wife.....just the two of us so it will be perfect.
So instead of using ground beef can you use regular beef for this recipe?? Like cut the beef into smaller pieces and use that instead of using ground beef

I did something similar, I did shrimp, steak, & noodles teriyaki. Similar to how they do it in the Asian spots you see in malls.Came out pretty good.

Yes ma'am. Authentic Mongolian Beef is made with thinly sliced flank steak.
Will this work with ground turkey or ground chicken..or will that be gross? Lol
If you don't eat beef then yes substitute it with ground turkey. I don't know how the turkey and ginger will mesh but worth giving it a try.
