In Canada, flank steak is quite expensive now compared to 20 years ago, but I will definitely making this recipe!! I have to agree with your other commenters, I have found every dish of yours that I have tried to be exceptional. In our house, all I have to say is that it is one of Marion’s recipes and my husband smiles and says yum yum!! Thank you for all your wonderful tips and tricks and delicious recipes. Cheers!!

I’ve been watching your cooking videos since Covid and have tried many of your recipes already which have all turned out great. I live in Lumby, BC a small town in Canada. I grew up in Kenya and my parents were from the Seychelles Islands so I grew up cooking and eating very spicy creole and East Indian foods but I’ve always enjoyed going out for Asian foods and now, thanks to you, I’ve learned and still learning how to cook my own. Tonight I’ll be trying out your Mongolian Beef. I’m definitely hooked. Your videos are so well done and I get to watch you on a 135” screen, we have a projector, it’s so cool. I Just wanted to thank you so much, it’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to learn. Keep on cooking and I’ll keep on watching.

Just tried this for dinner today! Beef was very tender. I previously made a different recipe with flank steak and the beef was terrible. Almost gave up on ever doing flank steak recipes ever again. I am definitely jotting down this flank steak method in my recipe cards. As for the sauce, I would like to do less sugar (personal preference) next time. I also added some sesame oil before tossing in my beef. Overall - delicious! Thank you, Marion!

Please make a cookbook! I would buy it in a second! Found this recipe of yours a few months ago and it has become a staple meal in our house. Super easy to prep and throw in the fridge on busy days and just pull it out and throw it all together on sports nights. Probably the only GREAT dish I’ve mastered! Thank you! (Also I can never find the Chinese wine so I substitute with a dry sherry and it’s still amazing!)

Hi... I tried your fish tacos and fish in lemon sauce and both were amazing... I will try this recipe next week so I wanted to know that what would be non alcoholic substitute for Chinese wine? And how can I make a little more sauce/gravy in this recipe? As well as how long did u cook this beef? Do we need to cook only till the beef changes its colour? My beef mostly turns out hard or raw..
