As a Mongolian. I don’t know this recipe. It’s probably Chinese or something. We don’t marinate our beef with oyster sauce nor soy sauce. But it’s a good recipe though.
I cooked this twice, absolutely amazing. My boyfriend said he prefers this to take away noodles. This is a big win for me, because he doesn't eat much and he's very picky. Also, I love this recipe, I was looking for this for a long time. Chef kiss
This is easily one of my most-often-ordered entrees, when The Girlfriend and I dine out at a Chinese restaurant. (Remember dining out? *sigh*) Now I'll learn to make it myself, at home. Thank you, Marion, you're the best! 👏
I hope *THE GIRLFRIEND* likes it :)
The Mongolian beef is the third Marion recipe I tried with success. They are simple, tasty and easy to make. I am privileged to have a large Asian grocery store not far so getting the products is easy, even gojuchang! Thank you a million times Marion to make this possible for us.
Does she not have lenses in her glasses?
My mom loves mongolian beef! Thank you so much for your recipes, I'm so excited to try to make this for my mom at some point!
Love it! Ty Marion. This is my lunch tomorrow sorted.
Hiya, Marion. It's probably worth mentioning that you need to prepare your beef slices properly. Cut your piece of beef across the grain. If you cut it with the grain you won't ever get tender beef.
I had to grab a tissue real quick, I involuntarily drooled in the first five seconds of this video lol!🤣
I just tried it. Turn out so lovely! Thanks mom!! (Yeah you're my mom in RUclips)
My favorite part is watching Marion tasting the food on every episode.
Creep
Marion it’s missing the heat!! 😂😂 what would you put in this to make it spicy? My Mongolian beef HAS to be spicy 🌶
Chinese Red Pepper? A dab'll do ya 🌶🌶🌶
chili flakes, chili peppers, sriracha, chili oil, anything dude.
It no different than Marion's many versions of the same: soya sauce oyster sauce and brown sugar being the taste makers
She actually made this video 10 months ago..
Wao
Looks nice but too much of b/ sugar
Soy sauce, corn flour and rice wine...3 ingredients in most every Asian dish! Baking soda is a great addition! thx
I make this all the time, I've never used oyster sauce in mine though. I'll have to try it. I also always serve mine with fried rice, these noodles look soooooo good though!!!
Eating noodles along with fried rice? Or a mix?
@@erenjaeger9902, with just fried rice.
@@michelleboedeker1799 ah
Made it for lunch today (but subtituted the chinese wine with mirin because that’s what i had in stock) and OMG it was a hit!! Thanks Marion❤️
If you don’t mind me asking, is there a substitute for the oyster sauce? I’m anaphylactic to any type of seafood and was wondering what I can use instead of that for the sauce 🤔
@@rafaelalfaro7396 There is a vegetarian "oyster sauce" made from mushrooms, try to use that 🙂
Hola 👋 thank you 🙏 so much marion for your wonderful delicious yummy recipe and thank you for your video 😍😍🥰❤️👋🙏😋🪴💕🎈🌾💐💜👍🏻💤☘️💔🌺☀️🌹🍀🌷💞😴🌙✋♥️💛😘
Tried this recipe at home it was a hit😁 thank you for this quick meal. 👌🇹🇹
A touch of chili 🌶 will be perfect.. For my liking 😋😋😋😋
Just made this and it was De-li-cious! Thank you so much Marion for sharing your recipe 😋
When you say tablespoon I am assuming you mean an Australian tablespoon (20ml - 4 teaspoons) not a US tablespoon (15ml - 3 teaspoons) because this recipe indicates 1 tbs Soy Sause, 1 tbs Wine but 3 tsp Corn Flour. If you were using a US tbs it would have been 1 tbs Corn Flour. Right?
I just made it for lunch and my wife and daughter loved it! This is my first time to try your recipe and this will definitely be not my last! Maraming salamat!!!
😋😋😋😍😋😋🔥😋😋😋
First , make me hungry at 22 : 15 pm
Hi from Darwin Nt.. hehe
Glossy and Saucy! = Marion :) looks great...am making for dinner
Yeah cooking on a normal hob. Would be most pertinent and to know. I have a heavy base wok and it takes ages. Please do a video proper and how cook with a wok. Mine is heavy based and takes hours to heat up. So, I've canned using it. As it is cheaper to order in. Love your videos though.... Keep it to pans in the house. I have 2 woks and none of them work. One gas and one electric. I'd rather order a delivery. My pans are useless. Both about in my recycling bin.... Wok on the electric induction hob. How do you get it hot? You're not saying what we want. Like I said, I'd rather buy a take away and from a professional
Hi! i made this recipe and it turns out amazing! beef tender as promised..
just a question, when i mix soy sauce, corn fliur and baking soda.. it froths like Cola.. is that an issue??
hello.
I'm a PD of tvN, a Korean broadcasting station.
I want to use your video as a material for my program.
Can I use it?
That is some very delicious looking Mongolian beef noodles😋 🍜🤗💖👌💕😁!!!
Thank you 😋
Mmmm that looks delish! Need to work out the carbs in that sauce, use low carb noodles (type 1 diabetic on low carb) and this will be a yummy dish.
ist not even mongolian beef noodle recipe now..cuz u changed a lot of things can u pls just named my customized beef noodle
ughhh 😢😢😢
What's with the heavy black glasses and the caked on lipstick? This isnt a democratic convention!
Omg delicious!! Marion I’ve said this before but you eat deliciously lol. You remind me of a show waaaay back called the Galloping Gourmet. The chef Graham Kerr ate deliciously as well. 😊🇨🇦
To find the amount of each ingredient just google "mongolian beef noodles recipe" and the second one that says Marion's Kitchen is it :]
Thanks for the tips. Will be trying soon.
Have fun! I'll love it.😋
What is the activation ingredient for the baking soda? Baking soda alone without something to activate it, it will make you feel bloated after you eat.
Can u pls tell a substitute for oyster sauce?
I am planning to make this tonight and I don't have oyster sauce in stock
There’s a vegetarian version of oyster sauce called “mushroom oyster sauce”. You can find it near the oyster sauce in most Asian supermarkets. Hope this helps Kaku 😁 -Team Marion's Kitchen
With wich part of pork I can replace the beef as we are indians and we don't consume beef ..tnx
Last Christmas I was given a large cast iron wok.... amazing!
Toasted sesame oil is your friend. It'll improve your dish by a lot.
Making these tonight. My usual go to is the chinese pepper beef stir fry
i followed this recipe pretty close. the sauce is bland. i hated this.
Thank you for helping me decided what to make for dinner
What sort of oil did she use? That would have made it or broke it.
What a great stir fry. Looks delicious. Keep em coming!
Happy Cooking,
UB
Because Mongolian Beef is an American Chinese dish, everyone has their own take on it. I prefer the P.F. Chang (who made it famous) version. That version with only beef, scallions combined with Lo Mein noodles would be excellent.
My goal in life is being able to afford sirloin anytime I want like Marion and pretend it’s not expensive so I can cook it whatever way I want to.
Haha, you and me both! But I have found that baking soda and corn starch even work wonders on cheaper cuts of beef. Those, and thin slicing, have never failed me.
Tried the recipe tonight. As promised, your tip for tenderizing the sirloin worked like a charm. Keep the entrees coming!
This looks very good, will try this today. But I have to wonder, what exactly makes it mongolian? It reminds me of Lo Mein or Chow Mein.
You are my most favourite... I M FROM BANGLADESH 😍😍😍
Thank you so much🤗
Doesn’t the baking soda make the meat taste bitter?
Me: Wow what a nice dish!!
Marion: GLOSSSSY....SHINY.....STICKYYY....RICH...GORGEOUS...HMMM!!!😂😂
As always what a nice dish Marion!!
Your wearing glasses without any lense 😅😊
It's so easy! I'm definitely making this for dinner tomorrow!!! Looks amazing 😍😍😍
Looks mouth-watering - it's on my list. But only 2 cloves of garlic? Surely it deserves more ... Unless the police come knocking on my door complaining about my garlic levels, I feel a recipe is a failure 🙂
Its better to washout soda after 15 minutes
im making this for breakfast tomorrow. ive got some thin stir fry/sizzle steak and this is the perfect recipe for it. and plus i love stir fried noodles
Its,not mongolian of chinese noodle 😂
I just watched a mongolian beef video yesterday from you and made beef and noodles last night...and here it is again.
This was excellent. DH loved it too. But here is my dilemma. My dgt lives with us and this is just not enough for 3 people. I know it says serves 4 but not really.
This recipe sounds like it's sweeter than most I've tried, and I'm surprised to see that there's no heat in it whatsoever. I've never had anything labeled "Mongolian beef" that didn't have a least a little kick. Not saying that's bad -- just different.
I have a question for non-American former and current colonies. If you call corn starch “corn flour,” how do you distinguish between the three items cornmeal, cornflour, and cornstarch? What do you call what we call corn flour?
Beef first then onion
How about a bit of lemongrass added in with the garlic and ginger? Would that make it even better?
Go for it!😄 -Team Marion's Kitchen
Very good dish. Beef so tender. Thank you so much!!! Me and my son are very happy this evening😋🍜🥢🥰
Hi beautiful Marion, I am making this for my family tonight as your recipes are always on point. Update - I added sugar snaps, capsicum and celery at the end of cooking and it was a huge hit. Thank you
Glossy, Sticky, yummy, all the things. I can't talk right now, it's ... I need a moment
What kind of noodles do you use?
mouth watering 🤤🤤🤤🤤
😋🤤
looks like a simple version of this, must try, love this dish
Any exchange for the corn flour? Can you use pineapple juice instead of apple juice for non alcoholic?
Made this and all I can say is "wow"! It was so good.
I wasn't sleep anyway 😕
This one looks amazing and yummy🤤, But we dont use noodles or pasta
This video is so Outstanding! Yes I Love It!
Thank you so much!
@@Marionskitchen Very Happy that you replied! No Way! 😉☺️👏
I prefer your other Mongolian beef recipe with Flank steak. But this was nice to watch.
As always, your food looks incredible 🤗
what noodles are you using?
ooooh that looks so good. I need to stop watching your videos at 1am.....im hungry now
I made this for dinner, the meat was awesome, everyone loved it! Thanks from Utah!
The beef came out so tender, it was amazing! Just like magic, melt in your mouth beef in a stir fry! The seasoning was flawless, too. Another awesome recipe, Marion!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I skip to the part where I can see Marion try the dish 😁... nom nom nom.
can you please do either low carb or keto asiam recipes? please!?!?
are the glass frames empty?
If i want to use chilli flakes, should i put it before or after the beef?
Hello marion, can i ask what kind of noodles you use?
She talks more than she cooks
No chilli in Mongolian beef?
Excellent chop stick favorite Marion you can create any protein of your choice love the chop stick recipes..
😊.your.noodles.is.super
Does pineapple juice can be a substitute for apple juice??
I swear to god this dish is one of my mid-week favourite dinner meals to goble down!! I have this dish every week! Its super simple easy to dish out, all pantry ingredients and you can change to any protein you like! Way better than the chow mein! But the technique of tenderising the beef with baking soda is great. Another cheap pantry item.
I am making this soon and need to go to an Asain market.
Glossy 🤤
Can I use water instead of the alcohol?
Love the video
I am a noddle lover so am going to make it
May i know what kind of noodle did you used?
Do u live in China?
