This song was so incredibly important at a time where most popular rock was about not wanting to live and experiencing pain. Oasis said enough of all the depressing garbage. Let’s inspire life. And this one of the reasons why I love them so much.
To be fair the 90's brought back the 60s I was one of the 90's generation I was 18 in 1990 what a decade can't really remember much . But anyway what I'm saying kids need to make there own 60s or 90's
My favourite Oasis song and one of the first Noel wrote before they met Alan McGee & signed to Creation records. The song is actually about himself & Liam believe it or not. The "Lately I don't really wanna know how your garden grows" was a nod to his Mum . At 4:24 (on this video) listen to that guitar break , lifted from "Stairway to Heaven"! Don't get the meanings of songs confused with the videos btw . Yeah the video features a plethora of dead rockstars which makes perfect sense for a video in context with the sentiment of "Live Forever" but first & foremost , musicians & songwriters aren't actors or film directors and just go along with whatever is suggested as the video is the least important to someone creating music , unless they're actually writing a film score. Cheers , stay safe ✌️😉🎸🏴
Wrote about two brothers who can be alone and see things they will only see. Maybe the should listen to this, kiss and make up and give us some stadium gigs!!!!!cmon !

Im with you.43 and going strong.
Oasis just blew the music industry apart! Liam is still a hero to millions
The original UK video is so much better. Still, great reaction, this here's a classic!
No
Both are good.
i assumed since its Liam’s favorite song he wrote it but he actually gave his brother props even they are not on good terms. that’s pretty cool 👍🙏🦋🌞💜
This song was written by Noel actually. Like 90 percent of Oasis songs
someone bring back the 90's!!!!!!

Relax, I'm already working on it.
Hendrix, Lennon, Sid Vicious, Brian Jones, Mark Bolan, and several others are featured in the photos.
Marc Bolan ✌️
..and Bobby Moore, Captain of England.
And kurt cobain
Your face, you really do listen. God bless ya. Much respect from UK.
This is Liam Gallagher's favourite Oasis song
Best debut album of all time!
Love his voice
my favorite song by these guys 🙏🦋🌞💜
Live Forever, and Supersonic, along with, in fact ALL the tracks on Definitely Maybe, is why i feel it is one of the best albums of all time.
You oughtta do a reaction of funniest Liam Gallagher moments or best of Liam Gallagher kicking off. Dude is unlike any other
You should definitely react to Liam Gallagher sing this live at the We Love you Manchester concert. Its lovely and its was in 2017 ❤
So many Americans are at long last waking up to Oasis long after they broke up by watching/listening to their music.
Yeah He's showing important ppl that have died but will always live forever in our hearts and minds
completely agree with the previous comments, their songs "whatever" and "champagne supernova" are the ones to experience! :)
Greatest song EVER.
Agree
This song is absolute tops.
I think this song speaks of one dying like this, they will always live eternally in spirit, they review the last scenes of singers and people who died
I know some people like the little short videos, but for youtube cash, make em 10 minutes minimum. Stay strong! Love your videos.
This sing was written in response to the stuff that was coming out of America from bands such as nivarna and some of their dark messages
That photo was of John Lennon from the Beatles, the band Oasis were emulating.
Lennon, Hendrix, (Vicious),their music lives on
Classic song
love how kurt cobain is also in the background of the video, on the wall
I know. That wall's a wonder isn't it?
True u got a lot to learn I have all albums
React to oasis shakermaker, it’s one of their first and best songs
Try the Stone Roses, She bangs the drum, Made of stone, I am the resurrection etc etc, out of this world🏴.
react to "Dream Maker" by Rick James and Elvis "hunk of burning love" with the london fill harmonic symphony
the last rock front man

This one new to me also thank you honey pie kiss kiss
Oh I have heard this never saw the video
Falling down is very underated
Pretty much anything after (What's The Story) Morning Glory is underrated.
Good electric guitarist.
CAST NO SHADOW- OASIS ❤️ just subscribed ur awesome!!
Missed this reaction. Just found it. Feel I should apologize. Brilliant song though!!💋
"You'd be arrogant too if you wrote Live
Forever"
Noel Gallagher
Oasis - Rock N Roll Star
this song is about their mom, at least that's what the Gallaghers have said.
Relax Music yeah it is. She brought them up on their own after she left their dad so this song is like a thank you to her.
I really like that besides them being assholes some times, they are proud of their mom
Please let us all appreciate Inspiral Carpets.... Sackville.
React to , Hands Of Time by Groove Armada
The uk video is much better ❤️
Nice video, I think this song was about their mother getting cancer or passing away from cancer
Their mother's still alive.
This is the American video English ones the best version
I’m 11 and I sing oasis Kareoke
is this the us video version
An epic band, that who's biggest enemies was themselves. It's so sad.
The video seems to be about rock n roll and the people living on through their music. The song is interesting. The same chorus repeated 3 times
Take me back to 1994 now please. Music has been pish since about 2010.
Didnt Noel say Liam went into studio and recorded this in one take? Or was it a different song?
The direct answer to the whiny 😫 grunge movement.
Yep, writing a dissertation about this
@@DBZ96587 im curiouse about the dissertation. Perhaps even read it .
It was the singer Liam's brother Noel who was the bands songwriter.
I hear oasis i think of study halls, bonfires, missing curfew......
1990s Brit Pop! My favorite band from that genre was more obscure - "Gene". ruclips.net/video/FZnGKlx4UZU/видео.html
Wrote about two brothers who can be alone and see things they will only see.
Maybe the should listen to this, kiss and make up and give us some stadium gigs!!!!!cmon !
United States Kingdom? 🤪
I think she was in a bit of a state when she did this this.
''LAID-BACK''....no offence but you've alot to learn about oasis..good to see americans looking at music outside the 50 states.
Was thinking similar, Liam = furthest thing from laid back.
Haha trust me
Kurt cobain
Big big pity they couldn’t be arsed to break into America. Imagine if they had.....
Appalling review, no constructive feedback and opinion at all! No mention of the lyrics, the melody, oasis is completely wasted on you 🙄
