Em actually has 3 daughters, Hailie his blood, Alaina... Kim's sisters kid which Em adopted because her mom was heavily addicted to drugs that eventually killed her and Kim also had a kid with another guy which Em adopted too named Whitney. He also took custody of his little brother Nate.
@@micheldick1736 It's a different level of maturity. You can't look beyond what created the kid, eminem just saw a kid who needed help. How the kid got there didn't matter. It's crazy man haha
Showed this to my colleague 43 years old father of 2 little girls. Man shed tears i was like bruh it's just a song. He said only a married man with kids can understand the pain behind this song 🙂
I've been listening to Em more than 20 years now, but now being a father listening to this song it has different meaning and it hits hard I shed tears every single time i'm listening to it...
Same, use to listen to the song when I was a teenager. Now I'm a father of two cute little son, after watching this reactions video and listening to this deep song again, it broke my tear and I'm crying like a child. 😢 now I'm really do feel this song and it hits so hard, specially if you're in that same situation.

You are adorable! Lol I love your reactions! If you want more vulnerable Em, you need to do “Castle”, immediately followed by “Arose.” One picks up where the other left off.
I'm a grown man and Castle + Arose still causes me to tear up. Having battled my own demons and addictions, I've been almost in that position, and it's impossible to put into words how it feels but Em somehow did it.
Em is such a good storyteller because he can rap pretty much any word. And he’s let out so much real shit in his career - probably as a form of therapy to get it all out, but also to let others who might be going something similar you’re not alone and things can get better if you hold on. There are already quite a few recommendations that are like this that come from of his chest and from his heart, “Leaving Heaven” is another heavy one from his newer album - him and Skylar Grey kill it again. Another that’s him talking about how gangster rap needs to chill, and is basically his pleading for a ceasefire on all the killing over lyrical beefs is “Toy Soldiers”. “I Need A Doctor” was another emotion packed one, this time to Dre, back whenever Dre was mentally at his lowest in the 2000’s.
Eminem is my idol. I'll forever love him. I hope, some day, I can meet and hug him, and tell him how much I love him and how much his lyrics helped me throughout the years.
When you said you were in a good mood and hopefully wouldn’t cry I thought she is going to crying for sure 😂 I have heard this song a million times and I still tear up 😊 This is the third reaction I have watched of yours and I always enjoy when people come to have more of an understanding of what Eminem is really about.😊
Great job covering this song. I’m a 35 yr old guy who loves my son and all of Ems songs. This makes me want to cry every time. People forget how hard it is to be a good father: we work so hard with almost no recognition….
This was one of the first songs I listened to by Em and fully learned the whole song. I was 12 or 13 years old listening to this and it lightened up my whole world. I didn't really have any problems or had gone through grief at that point, I was just a happy teenager listening to good music. Years goes by and my father passes away, 3 years ago now. Now this song has a whole new meaning to me, and everytime I listen to this I get very emotional. Amazing song.
This song and music video still hits hard every day, every single day, since day one. Goosebumps for sure, always. One of the best songs ever made, and love tribute to a daughter, super personal and relatable. Portugal here for the Goat Eminem always since day one 1999 and forever. Thanks for reacting to this legendary masterpiece. Salutes and respect. Eminem is a Legend, gotta give him credit and his flowers. Talking also about Cleaning Out my Closet, he made a song later named Headlights, must watch and react, for real, is kinda personal too, you'll love it. Eminem is and artist, raw, amazing, but as a person and family wise he is a big heart man.
This song gets me the same way since I've had kids. I've never met my mom and my dad was in and out of my life when I was little. My childhood trama has been bottled up my entire life and for that reason, since ive never really been able to express it, im extremely passionate about my kids. The fact that I try my hardest and still feel like I've failed them in ways draws out my emotion when I listen to this song. Its the only song that does and in some ways its therapeutic.
I cry every time I hear this , I think of my daughter all the time . Thanks for the cry I really needed it I suffer from depression and my 9 year old daughter has no idea of the battles I’m fighting. And she will never know. thanks again
The more you go down the "Eminem rabbit hole" the more you will learn that Em really wears his heart on his sleeve and can tap into emotions you never expected from him. He also has a way of story-telling that simply drags you in and you get so invested that you can't believe just how much you have learned of another person's personal life behind the "mask" of being an artist.
This is the first video I see of yours, it came up on my front page. & I've always loved this song and STILL makes me cry. Absolutely subscribe thank you for that. 💝🥰💞
Through out his whole career he raised them and kept them out of the lime light. His daughters are college graduates and capable of dealing with the world without him but the love between them is so strong they stick around for their father.

everytime i listen to this song i always remember about my life in childhood just like eminem's family my family was destroyed because of the economy and when i was little i couldn't think properly and thought the world was evil but my father was always beside me warming me and making me what i am now I have been able to achieve the happiness that my father used to dream of making his little family happy and now my father is gone every time I always miss the warmth he gave me throughout my life ;)
