    I watch everything you post. Those boxes you just made are ideal & match your other drawers. I like it when things match. OK I miss your white board even though I have trouble reading it but I still try. OK I'll check on Friday to see what you are up to or not up to. Hahaha!Love ya

That's because I haven't been out to the shop in over a month. These videos I made way before Janet went in for her hip surgery. I'm running out of them too, so I hope I'll be able to get back in the shop soon! Love ya!!

    High Mike. Your Masonite is what I call HDF, High density fibreboard. They use 3/4 thick on highway sighns. It is really tough stuff and not prone to have water/rain bother it so it should have a good long service life for you. I sure hope our Nannie J is through the roughest part of that hip re and re. I had both of mine done and getting a knee done is far easier or it was for me. If I don't see her below give her a real nice hug from BC. Actually twice is better than just once eh. Take care ole son. Thinkin bout you both all the time.

      @GrampiesWorkshop  4 месяца назад +1

      How's she goin'? Thanks so much for the kind thoughts for Nannie Dean. She is doing pretty good. Some of her other health issues have been plaguing her recovery somewhat, but the hip part is progressing well. This masonite, or HDF, is great stuff. This is only 1/8" thick, so I'm not too sure how strong the box will be, but for what I need it for, I think it might just be OK. I hope you are starting to get some fine weather out there on the left coast Dean!! And I hope you are able to enjoy it too. Stay well brother, I need ya in my corner!! Take 'er easy!!

      How's she goin'? I wasn't too sure what all I was going to put in the box so I was thinking the masonite might not be strong enough, but since the shelf I'll be putting the box on is up above my head, I don't think anything too heavy will get into the box. So the masonite might just be fine like this. Thanks for the suggestion though Don. Happy Canada Day and and take 'er easy!

    I hear ya when you say you've misplaced video cards. I am really good at that (and they are so tiny!!). If it wasn't for losing those little SD cards I wouldn't have much to do in a day. Last weekend, I organized a whole bunch of them into these little pouches (Amazon) designed to keep them neat and FOUND! The storage box looks good, but be careful: STUFF WILL EXPAND TO FILL THE SPACE AVAILABLE. So the more boxes (drawers, cabinets, sheds) we build, the sooner they will be overflowing with stuff we can't find (and don't know we have). All the best and hello to Nanny (and a pat on the head to each little squirrel🐿🐿🐿)

      How's she goin'? That's a good idea to stiffen up the box Noel. I was thinking of making a top for it too and if I did that the 3/4" pieces would have to be on the outside. The box is not super strong, but good enough for what I need I think. Nannie is doing pretty good and getting stronger each day.
