    I love the mini coin. So tiny i never considered splitting them into more. They work well in terrariums too!
    Name for your shrimp, Saffron! Think it means yellow flower, depending on what part of the world you're from.

    George, you are sort of the Bob ross of aquascaping. Have you ever gotten that before?

    Conversations around crystal can lead to generations of growth. The idea of uniqueness is to find a small world in a big universe.

    It’s great to see you showing off the delights of low tech nano tanks…not everyone has the space or money to maintain big setups..and this is just so attractive and attainable…👍🏽.

    I recently got some of the anubias mini coin and its going strong in my low tech tank, slow growing but Ive got probably 10 new leaves since I bought it.

    The 4k quality and b-roll footage looks so good. Great lessons and information, thank you for sharing, George. It's incredible there's always something to learn and appreciate in nature, even from such a small tank. Cheers

    Beautiful nano tank. I never imagined seeing George Farmer enjoying and maintaining a low tech aquarium. Well done as always.

    Great little tank, I've got some mini coin on its way from Aquarium Gardens so look forward to using it in my new scape. On a side note would you mind letting me know where your moss wall art is from is this an Etsy thing? Looks fantastic.

    Would you consider doing a tutorial of setting up? You’ve been my favorite source of information on planted tanks. I appreciate your willingness to adapt and change. Keep up the great work!

    Looks amazing! My favourite tiny and unusual Anubias is _'Barteri v. Pangolino"_ I did a bonsai with that as the leaves and it's grown in incredibly densely over four years' time.

    This is one of my favorite scapes ever of yours George! I’ve been surprised by my plant growth lowtech in my 9 gallon flex scape! I’ve wanted to go high tech, but the slow and steady nature and relatively low maintenance of non co2 is very nice! Maybe one day I’ll dive into high tech! It’s crazy how red the hra is low tech! Thanks for sharing mate!

    Lovely little tank. Great way of getting into the hobby on a budget. Love the moss art also, we bought one from scape nature a few years ago after seeing one of your videos from there. Shame they sold up and the new owner no longer makes them. Would love another piece

    Over 50 years in the hobby and I have never seen or thought of using a sponge as you have to stop disturbance when filling a small tank!
    I think George I mentioned before, that is a lot of light.

    Great tank man! I myself have a 2.5 no filter cherry shrimp tank for a year and a half now and have never had an algae problem or any problem at all even though i do water changes every few months. Everything stays stable with crystal clear water. Greetings from NYC.

    I’m going from low energy to high energy aquariums. I’m just trying to solve the best form of CO2. I’m currently thinking welding canisters are the easiest so need to find the correct type of adapter.

    • @grey7513

      I live in Australia, but here I went for a 2.6kg home brew C02 cylinder, since it was for food grade C02 (beer (not industrial welding grade C02). From memory, Aus standards allow for common sizes of 2.6 or 5kg bottles. Anything larger in your home is a larger potential risk. These have the same connections as aquarium C02 regulators. Hope that helps.

    • @alanmorrison470
      @alanmorrison470 8 месяцев назад

      @@grey7513 the canisters are 6kg. I was tempted by soda stream as there’s a delivery service but the welding canisters are a five minute walk.

    • @grey7513
      @grey7513 8 месяцев назад

      @@alanmorrison470 just keep an eye on what grade C02 you get, here in Australia we have a food grade gas which is rated "food safe", the industrial stuff has impurities not fit for human (and fish/shrimp) consumption.
