I love blackwater aquarium , a wild betta will be perfect .
there's no better fish to add to a black water tank other than neons, they have literally evolved just for this :)
Cardinal Tetra would look stunning.
Love a black water setup!
Beautiful finished display, informative, and a well done tutorial as usual. I particularly liked how you highlighted why blackwater doesn't usually have clearwater plants, and give tips on how to work them in. I also love that you pointed out how to negate accidentally introducing invasive species. It's little details like that, repeated often which go a long way.
Some time ago I converted my four Aquariums (55l, 70l, 126l, 240l) into Blackwater Aquariums, except for my two 450l tanks which are Malawi African Cichlid Aquariums, and my two 30l Nano cube and one 35l Nano Tank , the rest are Blackwater Aquariums. Because? I do the water changes in these aquariums every 15 days, and the decision to convert them all was quite easy, after having my 126l aquarium with Blackwater for 1 year and a half, this would be the summary: Algae Problems: 0, Problems in the health of my fish and invertebrates: 0. Longevity and reproduction rate of my fish and invertebrates: Much higher than the rest of the inhabitants of my other aquariums. Aquarium stability: after 1 and a half years of operation, 0 problems since the beginning... I can only say that it was the most stable of all my planted aquariums by far.
Greetings from Germany
Black skirt Tetras would look great in there...
Would like to hear why and when you choose white or black background...
Awesome video George and Tropica!! I throw my vote to sparkling gourami for stocking a black water tank. They look awesome in a tannic/ black water tank when you see their beautiful blue eyes glowing as they hang out in the plants. They might be thought of as shy, but mine come right out at feeding time like a betta.✌️
Nothing Asian belongs in there...
should add some type of tetra maybe good
Hey George, great to sit here drinking a fresh dark roast w/ nothing really to do but reading the newspaper, and then I see this TROPICA notification , which pairs so well w/ waking up and then I realized that I can spend some much needed time on my aquariums which I have to say always looks even better when I go into the TROPICA plant profile playlist that has been such a wonderful team effort from you & TROPICA!!! I related to James when he shared what those videos did for him ..... Speaking about plants it's been a while since you have said " Peel off the lid " , so I think getting close for a few new additions 😁
I love it.
Green neons
Love it. Sundadanio axelrodi would be my choice.
Beautiful tank. Go for celestial danios
бьютифул 👍

Maybe a pea puffer habitat
Can Angelfish live in black water??
The black water aquarium I made has oily residue and air bubbles like laundry soap, why and how to fix it? Can you help me?
How much does the Aquasoil lowers PH usually?
Can't believe you built it just to tear it down😢
