Finally somebody's doing green machine videos!!!!! Love this
James was one of the people that inspired me to do aquascaping. He must be proud seeing you manage to somewhat replicate his work. More shallow tanks video in the future please!!!
I've bought many ADA products over years. They're all expensive and in some instances you're just paying for the right to display the brand, as for example when you get an ADA high-clarity aquarium. But in my experience the substrate additives do in fact promote the long-term ecological health of the tank. They're a good investment.
I have watched the Green Machine layout videos countless times, and each time I find something new and inspiring to take away from it. James's work is incredible and I wish he was still making videos. The narration also made that channel stand out. It's always nice to have a hype man like James had! My favorite scapes were Arizona, Escarpment, and Crimson Sky. MJ, you did an incredible job with this scape. I can see the inspiration, and I love how you included your own style into it so while it is similar it is very much the MJ-style of aquascape. You have a great eye for composition, and a patient hand in maintaining an aquarium long-term. Thank you as always for your professionalism with your videos. I am very grateful for your hard work. Peace and blessings to you.
Thanks so much 😊
@@MJAquascaping• Why did GreenMachine close down in UK? And why did they stop making videos?
The Green Machine is one of the channels that inspired me to get into this beautiful hobby. You killed this like usual. lol 💚💚
( edit ) It's probably going so smoothly because of the ADA supplements. That's my guess any way. Been wanting to try them out for years. Just haven't gotten around to it yet!
Same for me
Me too, the "Nature's Chaos" video was mind-blowing to me. I was hooked after that.
I have this same size tank. I think it is one of the best size tanks you can have and gives the appearance of being much larger than 10.8g. Love what you did here! Looks amazing as always!
I really love it when aquascape layouts have elements of it going up and out of the water surface...very well done.
Oh how I adored Mr. Findley's content.
His early content was what inspired me to get back into keeping aquariums in my early 20's, and his works 'Reciprocity', 'Tributary' & 'Simplicity' would remains huge influence to this day.
Though I now keep a reef aquarium. Each time I see one of his works, I can't help but want to set up another planted tank. He was truly a superb artist in this medium.
Very pretty adaptation on his work, well done
MD tanks!! You and MD are my favorite aquascaping channels to watch hands down.
I love their aquascapes!! I really wish they still created content. 😍😍😍
Super nice Setup and Scape. To copy a Tank is a good way to step out of the comfort zone. I realy forgot the Green Machine. I watched TGM long time ago. Thanks to bring this channel back to us.
Amazing attempt! Wow, I'm very pleased of the end result! The Green Machine was first to drag me into the aquascaping world, Crimson Sky and Simplicity was my favourite from TGM. It was a pleasure to watch your movie, end result is simply stunning. Greetings form Poland!
I took a break for at least 10 years and didn't had an aquarium. Then I saw a few videos by James Findley from the Green Machine and was infected by the aquarium virus again...! Thank you James! --- Hey MJ, a great idea and very well done!
This makes me so happy! I love love love James and the green machine! I am still subscribed to the channel just in case a miracle happens😂 I’m gonna press play now, I’m really looking forward to this!
Such a masterpiece, wonderful result!! Also the way you have displayed it on your dining table, must be such an eye catcher when you walk into the room.
Well done. I like it very much. I like the red plants behind, it gives energy and more contrast to the layout.😊
Oh wow, the cuba draping back into the water is beautiful. The cherries are such a great compliment to it, too. I think your variations on the original are excellent.
really well done. good tip on avoiding moss with hairgrass carpet. i also was heavily inspired by james and the green machine channel. (i remember seeing a sneak peek of this scape with juris' tour of your studio, looks amazing!)
Looks absolutely amazing love this layout definitely a keeper ❤
really well done, perfect "simple" aquascape that is a treat to have for anyone in our hobby.
Epic video MJ!! The scape was phenomenal! Love the hardscape.👏
I love all videos you do and well explained i do aquascaping myself but it relax me on night time when i finish work to see the videos you published,Thank you very much 👍
Loved this setup, id love to do something like this. Great work as always buddy.
Really love the layout. Honestly I didnt know about this layout and thanks to the video it got a revival. The lush growth against the hardscape look amazing...probably planting heavily from the start, good Co2, surface agitation helped a lot with the smooth startup of the scape
Great layout!
It relies inbetween minimalistic and wild.
Cheers from Brazil!
one of your best layouts by far I also really love the size of the tank
Amazing! The resemblance is definitely there 🤩
Stunning aquascape as always!
I LOVED green machine. James was the absolute king next to mr. Amano. I wonder what happened there. It would be amazing to see new scapes from him.
That looks really cool! I've been looking at a "bookshelf tank" concept to possibly try. I don't want a very large tank and this may definitely be the way to go. Great work!
Looks great. Very good job, love it!
Amazing final result MJ. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Stunning! I love the clover-like plant. I'll be searching for that. I have Ember Tetras and they are fun to watch; mine like swimming against the flow of the filter and doing loops like it's a slide. The filter doesn't even have an aggressive flow as they life with shrimps, too - they're just living in a carnival ride. Thank you for introducing me to James Findley.
Love James Findley's setup's so cool to see you using he setup as an inspiration.
It’s beautiful . You did a great job !
Awesome! I loved TGM, nice Memory MJ 😊
I love the tank! I dig the hanging garden effect with the HC Cuba!
Love this so much! ❤
Zeer mooi project en ziet er prachtig uit. Op naar het volgende project.
Beautiful tank MJ 😌You did a wonderful job 🌱🙏
Omg yes
Green machine videos were the first videos I watched when I got into the hobby. ❤
Ive never heard of the green machien before and now will check it out
The tank you scaped is awesome. The scale of the all the elements work really well together it what looks like a challenging tank dimensions to do that in. cheers MJ😁
really nice one this ! beautiful growth!
It's a great reinvention . The colors are awesome. 😊
Love your videos keep it coming... Well done guy
I really really miss them, Green Machine and James Findley inspire me years ago to start with my first planted tank.....the other tanks i really miss about them, are the ones where you can see 360...that is something is not really common today
I love your videos, Im always exited when you upload new video. Keep it up👏
Glad you like them!
Wow! Came out beautiful my dude!
What a throw back!! I’m sure lots of people remember watching these scapes come to life
Parabéns, amigo!
Você, sempre com produções especiais!
Abraços!
Quality mate as always 👏🏼 used to love the green machine. Almost took the name when they shut down 😢
Masterpiece aquarium. Thank you for sharing this step by step guide.
My pleasure
Such simple and yet such beautiful scape. I love using cuba on wood and rock, never use it on ground though. I really love this scape, 20 cm depth and yet it don't feel that narrow. great job
Glad you like it!
You did a really good job mate. This tank is neat and the shallow tank is an awesome choice. It looks way better than a regular tank. That magic mix of activated carbon with purigen always works for me to clear out any water cloudiness, toxins and organic waste. It was a really good idea to add it to the filter at the start!
Hi MJ, thanks for the video. Pretty beautifull set up. I really like this proportion, ideally wider, if I were to make one. Anyway, a top one, congrats.
i love the skills of the dutch tank owners, dutch style aquariums have mostly beautiful plants, greeting from germany
👍
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 ❤️
Really cool build MJ, I'm inspired to do my own now
Green machine channel is where I started my hobby 👏💪
Looks amazing. I found your videos late 2022 and now I have a scaped 20 gallon and a brand new scaped 3 gallon in really excited about. January of next year I'm moving and I have a 10 gallon to scape as well as a large vase. Plan to rescale my 20 gallon as well. All this to say you created an addict. Haha
Such a beautiful scape with easy ish plants. Really love it. A classic scape
Beautiful!
Niiice tank again, MJ. I'm green too. From envy! 😉
I haven't been here for a long time, but the work you did immediately caught my attention. Greetings from Poland 👍😎👌
This is my favourite aquascape you have done looks amazing well done dude!
Glad you like it
A triumph. And no algae issues, a lesson somewhere in the build I suspect. Limited plant selection - good idea, then great fish choice, during the build I wondered why you hadn't used Hydrocotyle tripatita on the water line, it is a great plant for damp terrestrial growth - then you did! The cherry shrimp may yet breed like mad but so what? One of your best videos. A joy to watch.
Nice content. Well done!
Again a masterpiece! Best aquascaper in the world! ❤❤❤
Wow! That tank and light would make a pile of turds look stunning! I’m so jealous of the rimless tanks. One day I will have one! 😅 Great work Mark! You really are improving your craft with every build!
I love the way it turned out. I especially like the way the HC Cuba looks, now I want to get another plant. lol
Amazing!!!
I love the green machine, he is the main reason I came back to the hobby, from time to time, I wonder why he stopped making videos, his channel and information were priceless, thank you for the great content MJ I also love your channel and content please keep it up, and greetings from CR! I also follow you on Instagram, cheers mate.
Its beautiful ❤
Work of art 🙌
love it when you mentioned 'magic powders' the scape looks nice, even better than the original, ah green machine, brings back memories of hours and hours studying their videos! can't wait for your next video!
Ik ga binnenkort een 60F kopen. M’n eerste aquascape. Ooit als 14 jarige een tweedehands juwel gehad. Nu 28 jaar later door alle informatie van mensen zoals jij en the green machine weer helemaal zin in de hobby! Thanks!🙏
James Finley and TGM were my favorite. Wish they still did videos. He was very inspirational
Amazing scape, I love the size of the tank 😊
Kitty is thirsty! 😅
I did indeed see some Green Machine videos; I like to get my inspiration and information from everywhere.
Green Machine inspired you to do this setup, and this setup has given me a direction for the future. 👍
Amazing video tnx you😍🙏👌

Good job man😇
It looks great. I've copied your scapes I will b using co2 on my next tank I have 2 set up without it. This scape u did worked out really nice
You share very nice posts my friend, I enjoy watching you, it's great 👌👌👍👏
Very nice…I like the location you picked for the tank. While you are dining, you can imagine you are underwater….cool
Oh yes!
Awesome !
Wow beautiful x
Absolutely love this scape.
Another gorgeous scape, man! I wish I had your budget to play around with. I do think that you managed to take strong inspiration while still making the scape your own. Always nice to see one of your uploads, they just have a super chill vibe to them that's perfect to start the morning with.
Thanks so much!
This is one of the most beautiful aquariums I've ever seen.
Dat ziet er prachtig uit. Je bent er heel goed in aqua scaping
Wow wow wow. That is a great scape ❤
James was a Master... Nice scape! Well done
even the cat wants to taste the flavour of aquascaping!
💖I LOVE IT!!!!!! I want a shallow tank too😍😍😍😍I wish I can have options to have those plants. Sad I live in a place where I can't have it. ordering it from overseas cost a fortune😭
This is the exact tank I'm looking to purchase!
This is a very beautiful tank. I also like the measurments of the tank. Which in- and outflow do you use? Greetings from austria!
Very nice!!!
Bonsai was the first plant I loved and killed while I was learning. Now I know what to do to finish my current aquascape!
Absoutely beautiful!
