The Overwatch community is 100 million strong and we’re celebrating all heroes!
Show your support for lifesaving breast cancer research by picking up the beloved Pink Mercy skin and the new Rose Gold Mercy Bundle. 100% of the purchase price (excluding any applicable platform fees & taxes) will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Charity skins mean novelty, and low returns. You definitely don't want them to quit just slightly changing the color of the charity skin, and their inability to make money. Maybe once a year/half a year would be better

Quality of life UI suggestion: add voice chat indicators to scoreboard.
Please consider displaying whether players are in teamvoice or the groupvoice you are currently in on the scoreboard overlay in game. This will provide instant feedback without disrupting gameplay.
Current steps required to determine who is in voice:
1. Open the social menu; disengaging from game
2. Memorize names of players in voice
3. Leave the social menu and return to game
4. Bring up the scoreboard overlay
5. Cross reference player names with the hero they're playing.
By adding this information to the scoreboard overlay you could greatly simplify the process of determining who we can communicate with in voice from five steps to one. Thank you for your time and consideration!

i think a fun idea for a new arcade mode would be to un-rework everyone that has been reworked. lots of people (including me) never got to exprience dps doom, or pirate ship bastion so it would be cool to see them brought back
And have an option to use any version we want, Symmetra has two. I only wish I was able to play Symmetra support again.

They did give wraith flight in that one experimental patch way back when and it was super fun to play with, but admittedly it’s a little busted to have both flight and invulnerability on reaper
@@Drakuma35 hmmm maybe if it worked similar to moira fade with a wall climb (but was visible the whole time), might be a little better. But yeah I could see how that would be busted! probably would need to change up how the shotguns worked in terms of damage or spread

I honestly wouldn't mind 5v5 and 6v6 options.
However, I feel like adding that option would just make queue times even worse than they can be.
The other day I was queued for DPS in Quick Play, and I was there for 35 minutes before just grouping up with some people for comp. I also had priority requeue. That's not normal but just some funny commentary on how scuffed matchmaking is sometimes.
I always tought of a aniversary mode that brings overwatch 1.0 back with the few heros and the old abilities and maps

i missed out on the last pink mercy skin due to circumstances at the time and the reasoning for the pink mercy skin hits close to home so ill definitly be getting it this time around but...
it should be a permanent option in overwatch have the skin on the shop all the time and if you already own the skins have an option to donate extra would be nice. on another note more charity related stuff would be awsome.

It's WILD they're bringing Hanzo's scatter and Orisa's pull back just bc a content creator said so. These content creators represent like 5% of the actual player base, but their fans will echo chamber what they say and not realize that these abilities were taken out for good reason...
Also I really dunno how to feel about them brining Pink Mercy back. Like, I'm happy they're doing something for charity. That's super cool, especially since my mom passed away from breast cancer. But I felt pretty special having the Pink Mercy skin from OW1, and now they're taking that away from me. I feel like they should have done an entirely NEW hero for the pink skin. Or made an entirely different skin for Mercy. It's pretty lazy of them to do the exact same skin and recolor IMO.

This was an absolute non-announcement. I'm kind of confused around the engagement.
They announced some buyable content first and claimed 100% match for a charity which is amazing at surface level, but truly falls flat when you dig any deeper.
Then they announced some content creators that contributed to a custom game mode, which I am seeing a lot of people brushing over in the comments as if they had changed these heroes overall as a blanket change, which is simply not what was said.
Finally they talk about wide range grouping queues changes which contributes to quite a subset of gameplayers that isn't all that exciting.
Overall, this developer update is altogether and simply a non-update and kind of indicates that not much work or effort is being put into this game from this company as of late .
Classic Blizzard strategy:
-Remove feature
-Add feature back later and call it brand new

Okay, I do watch these eagerly, but this update felt like nearly 6 minutes of nothing. This could have been two more sentences in the blog post and a couple bullet points. I'm no longer getting excited when I see these Dev updates go live because they aren't telling us anything big of note. Most of this was already announced :/

Idk how to contact the game devs so this is the best place ik how and i hope yall see it, the battle pass teirs 21, and 77 are the EXACT SAME item (both teirs are the retro hero pose) the ONLY difference, being the other has no voice line sound...making the one with NO sound rare, and making the one WITH sound, epic rare.. it makes no sense to give us the EXACT SAME ITEM just without sound

The difference between your updates and the updates from GGG & the PoE team, is the PoE team genuinely cares and speak from the heart and speaking on community issues, not scripted annoying stuff while ignoring what the community is asking for.

From what I have heard. Reapers rework is more down the line as other heroes will get the rework priority sadly. They only said they will give reaper a few buffs until then to compete with the tanks.
Maybe if you give blizzard more money they will gaslight you some more pretending they are working on the game and Xbox isn’t planning to shut it down lol

I don't think they'll bother with Sym since she's a niche pick that is very annoying to play against on certain maps. Mercy is... well... on the right hands she's immortal.
