This LS survived 1 million miles, and has had a fulfilled life.
It has done everything that proves its durability.
Now it can prove its toughness, is it able to survive Tavares horsepower hunger?
Be stellar cool about some turbo upgrades, it will be very interesting to see what will happen.

I feel like modifying this car is borderline desecration, I'd leave it stock, maybe even try to get it to 2 million miles, or at least see how far it will go without major malfunction and then when repairing it mod it

I'm glad Tavarish ended up with this Lexus, but I also kinda wanted to see it end up with ChrisFix and have him do a whole re-build of it so it's good for another million miles.

I had a 1996 LS400 that I gave away in 2014 with 400k. I hear that it's still running around Maryland to this day!!!!

I am NOT a Lexus fan at all, BUT what Freddie wants to do is SO WRONG, this car deserves to simply be maintained, it deserves a very high end detailing, serious clay-bar, buff, glaze, ceramic coat. deep interior clean, refinished rims, new shocks,tires, under-hood cleaning.
Theres no clearcoat left to detail, it needs full paintjob.
Why try and polish a worn out turd? Videos on this car will be utterly boring

I’m on my 2nd Ls400 - i used to own a 95 then bought a 99 -now I own both a 99 LS400 & an Ls430 - just bought the ls430 2 days ago ! I get so overwhelmed with happiness when see people still talking about these cars and actually care about them as much as I do because I’m OBSESSED !!

Fun fact, I just bough a 1999 LS400 from a good friend down in Smackover, Arkansas and he told me that he switched the rear ash trays from the door panels from my car to that car and put the ones from that one in this one. Love the car. Can’t wait to see it restored, if love to have it in all honesty!

Dude, man, Tavarish, you cannot turbo this thing. This car is a legend that needs to end up in a museum someday. Turboing it and trying to break it would be such a bad thing to do I can't put it into words. Like legitimately, I don't know if because you have had hands in this car since the beginning, thus blinding you from it's importance, but it is legitimately an important piece of, if nothing else, RUclips automotive history. I'm not saying I'm going to unsubscribe if you decide to turbo it, but as I'm sure you've seen from your other subscribers, 99.9% of us want to see it restored. It's what the car deserves.
I've heard a lot of you tell me not to go turbo, so I'll put it to a vote. Go on the community tab on my page and answer the poll. I'm definitely open to restoring it! Let me know.

no turbo, but take apart the engine and explore what 1mil does to things, then referb it back together, and rig up another permanent odometer to keep track of the next million.... or option b Fix up any little thing wrong with it, and raffle it off.
Hmm...I'm not sure turbo-ing this legend is the right course of action here. I'd keep it as is, and just see how far it is going to go.
