- Metropolitan Police London chase a scooter riding the wrong way down a dual carriageway (4:20)
Metropolitan Police chase a scooter around Harold Hill and down the A127 in East London. It goes the wrong way round Gallows Corner roundabout and down the wrong side of the eastbound A127. He rides through traffic head-on, down the pavement, nearly hitting a pedestrian.
Multiple units, including Air Support, Traffic Cars and a Motorbike follow.

There's just been a lot of crying and woe, here in England , about a thieving, drug-dealing moped rider who got killed when the police were following him...If you didn't steal mopeds/do crime/deal drugs then you'd not get killed. No sympathy whatsoever for the family who cried "'es a good boy - 'e dint deserve that". Arseholes like their boy mow down people whilst running from the police (after committing a crime) /steal laptops from people in cafes.......Karma....

He was a total scumbag, and his family wanted the police to be done, the officers involved to be done for "not considering the safety" of their son, how ironic.
He obviously doesn't give two hoots about his own safety if he takes off at speed on a moped, weaving in and out of traffic and riding the wrong way up roads.

they live in a country that provides good education, free access to the net at library (and broadband can be afforded on the dole anyway) . and they think they can take the easy way and steal and hurt and threaten others. people like that probably are better off dead.

Carso fspades I think you'll find driving on the left is considered the correct side. It goes back to horse riding times so when you passed a stranger on the road your right hand was on their side (most people are right handed) this is so you can either shake hands in friendship or have your sword or gun hand at the ready. Its also down to how easy it is to mount a horse when wearing a sword. In the early days in the USA they drove on the left too.

@@Sughrgxdkj Its for meeting others on horseback not pedestrians..they were out riding on trails in the very early days riding from town to town and farm to farm. Not down the high street 😂

That's a large amount of police for one scooter. But may explain why, when my neighbours called them one evening to report there were two guys breaking into my flat where there was a woman home alone, the police didn't have anyone available to send! Luckily for me, I unusually happened to be out at the time so only got burgled.
Probably all bored with no good calls so they decided to all chase this one guy.

Funny but dangerous
This isn't a normal pursuit police usually aren't allowed to pursue motorbikes or have to rely on national police air support. The moped rider has done some madness. Stolen mopeds are used for shootings and violent knife point robberies in London. London's a shithole I don't know anyone from there that hasn't been mugged at knife point at least once.

I worked there every day for a year and a half as a youngster, and was never mugged, nobody in the office I worked with was mugged or had any form of crime committed against them either.
It's certain parts that are bad, not the whole place.

The county of Essex ventures into London. as a borough and a county are two different things the London greenbelt line ends at Upminster so Hornchurch is in a greater London borough in the country of Essex also when I receive post on the letter it says Hornchurch Essex not Hornchurch London.
