I attended the @essexcarmeets8489 latest meet at The Grind Coffee House in the @bggiveaways Honda Integra DC5 Type-R, which you can win for 99p: bggiveaways.co.uk
Whilst there, I caught more arrivals, looked around at the variety of visitors to later capture leaving. This was interrupted by an unmarked Police Volvo who didn't enjoy the noise coming from a lot of the departed BMWs!

I’m so very pleased the police perceive that’s the correct thing to do rather than help solve the continual on going local issues in all towns and cities with burglary, harassment, GBH, drugs etc etc.. as a tax payer with many others I have just watched them drive in a very dangerous manner up and down the road chasing cars burning fuel achieving nothing. No wonder our police force have no respect and are considered clueless clowns !

Cop has training and regularly drives that XC90 at its limit day in day out... some chav in a leased Bimmer doesn't.

@@MementoMori-xx5qo cops have training, youre correct. training to violate your rights, training to extort your hard earned cash, training to violently rip you from your car for a broken tail light, training to cuff innocent people and abuse them while restrained, training to hot box you in the back of a police car with no ac and the windows up after being pepper sprayed in the car, training to throw innocent people in a dungeon and lets not forget some of them are trained to stick their finger up your bum so they can steal your drugs. NONE of them are trained to avoid the little old lady who safely pulls out in traffic not knowing the trained cop was in persuit in the wrong lane on a blind curve.

The other day there were two lads robbing on a street near us. Broad daylight, taking stuff from peopes yards, trying doors, garages etc... Police were called as soon as it started, two hours these lads were at it and the police never turned up even with multiple people calling 999.
Think about how fucked that is next time you're being harassed by two lads in a brand new Volvo for having an incorrectly spaced registration or a pop pop exhaust. These people will not be there when you need them, they exist only to harass you, take more of your money and protect the elite.
Maybe they want to try and avoid some of the stuff that goes on at car meets where cars plough into the crowd ? How many times has that happened over the last couple of years, if they are there they get moaned at, if they arent and something bad happens they get moaned at. Dont stand near someone who has just got an M140i and is learning drifting isnt perhaps quite as easy as they first thought/it looks.
@@J4cko999 It's more a broad comment on the current state of police spending. There are no response units available, ever. But the roads are littered with traffic units both marked and unmarked up and down the country. For exactly one reason, those units bring in revenue, policing real crime doesn't.
You do realise that they have different divisions within the Police Force dont you? I get your point, kind of, but a traffic cop in a 100k Volvo wouldnt normally be required to attend burglaries. They should be policing both in fairness

There is something funny about that police officer chasing the cars and endangering the traffic more than the BMW's did.
The female officer who chased me down 2 years ago asked me what speed I was doing down a stretch of dual carriageway at night, I said "70ish and you must have been going at least 90+ to catch me....and if I was speeding you wouldn't have caught me in that heap!" I got issued a section 59 warning for 12 months for my troubles. Worth it for making her look an idiot. 😁
Made her turn the blue flashers off ny saying they were going to cause me to have a seizure....! They work for US. Remember that. PUBLIC SERVANTS!

This my pals car, funny thing is that copper was in a g80 m3 touring earlier that day which he won from 7 days performance, went home and got the cop bus, snake.
There has been a landmark case in court. A garage has been fined for offering "pop and bang" remaps, decats and exhaust mods..... The noise detecting cameras are about to be rolled out in the next few months.

I’ll make a prediction that the way police treat British public in the service they provide which is beyond belief they will in turn take steps to protect themselves and family and friends. The policeman is trained to a MUCH higher level than any of the drivers here. He has been on a 20 day intensive driving course whereby you can literally fail on ANY day (not just the driving assessment at the end on the final day). The course is so good it takes officers from "normal" drivers to trained response, or pursuit trained drivers in 20 days. That said the advanced course is still hard to pass and around 50% of officers who are already blue light but not pursuit trained still fail it. Have a look at a fifth gear video on police driving and you'll see the difference. Police driving is about vision up, anticipating other road user's actions, reading the road ahead, remaining in control at all times, and making sufficient progress but also leaving a margin for error for safety.

Either way if you drive dangerously its not dangerous only for u but and to the other people driving next to u because you dont know how they will responde , police on the video overeact just and only to show who is the ''boss'' there just because the other car accelarated a bit more
As a police officer myself - yes, we do. And believe me the driving standard reached is FAR higher than the vast majority of the public would ever feel comfortable doing or driving at the same speeds on the same roads.
What is deemed "dangerous" to your average driver who never exceeds the speed limit and hasn't done any more driving tuiton since they passed their test possibly 40/50 years ago is very unlikely to be "dangerous" to a police, ambulance or fire engine driver who has done a course that (in the police at least) is 3 weeks long.
You are CONTINUALLY assesed and can be failed on any given day for anything, and booted off the course, as well as that there is a final drive assessment AND a day's practise in a larger vehicle, usually a minibus or a station van.
It's easy for a non-trained driver like yourself to critique the driving of those who are trained, but the fact is you certainly don't know any better.
It's just like the members of the public who tell us to arrest someone for anything, when actually an arrest has to be NECESSARY for it to be a lawful arrest. Majority of the public wouldn't have the first clue about whether an arrest would be deemed necessary or not... and that's why it's left to us and why police training in the UK is typically 13 weeks long.@@vagkos3060

the police in uk is a joke. they act tough with some enthusiasts not committing any crime and doing what they do pretty safely given the low speeds and then when there's robberies and other serious crimes they don't intervene, get mocked or even beaten...
