How to make Into The Light even better, don’t vault most of it in 3 weeks :/

Bungie takes 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
Into the light is amazing content but for it to only be available for basiclly 2 months and for the final content (final pantheon) to only be playable for basiclly 2 weeks. And it sucks.
@@SlongestKongestwym? Onslaught is staying around only pantheon is getting removed so the only content getting removed are shiny’s, they already said they’d look into adding other items later down the line

Bringing onslaught into the vanguard ops playlist could be fine, as long as you’re given engrams to focus into weapons with Zavala and as long as the weapons cost 1 engram per weapon. I hate that some weapons cost multiple engrams to focus.
It should be a separate game mode onslaught is very very diffrent then strikes
@@SlongestKongest they could put it in the crucible playlist and I wouldn’t care, just as long as it remains as rewarding as it is rn. In a perfect world completing each wave would give vanguard rep along with the current reward system, further providing the player with more loot and who knows what vanguard boosters would do to the mode.
It will be its own core playlist.
I honestly love everything about into the light. I actually even like that its being sunset. All I ask is that the sunsetting is only for like 6 months at most.
my main problem thus far is that attunment feels like it just stopped working this week?
Honestly removing Hall of Champions is so dumb. Should have kept it like Xur's hoard in Dares of Eternity.
The Arcites quest while simple still guaranteed engrams and xp and we need that as well.
The only change needed was let us reset Shaxx rank like Xur in Dares.
And honestly if they are afraid of Onslaught playlist cannibalizing players? Well too bad.
Vanguard strikes and Nightfalls are already considered separate. And there are players who never even bother to do strikes since NF offers more rewards for the time, while there are players who NEVER do Nightfalls because they hate the champion system or dislike losing the power fantasy due to getting 2 to 3 tap by a sniper Hobgoblin above legend difficulty.
And there are players who NEVER play any Vanguard activities at all but play Dares religiously for the brainless fun and crafting.
And if it ties into the Vanguard system, there should be a way to focus these from Zavala but 4 engrams to focus like currently? That is a TOUGH sell.
Getting a free sunshot as a newlight is kinda cool

I agree with you; Onslaught is what we wanted for a long time…hoard mode.
I like the surges. If you lfg it makes things 10x easier
I never really got to do a day 1 raid but contest mode is at master level or is it even higher than that ?

They should've added more named bosses. Maybe every 5 waves a big boss. Then 10th wave go crazy.
The defense portion sucks. Turrets maxed rank sucks. Also not being able to choose where to put your fences n make them useless
They took midtown out of onslaught. Lol😅

I think pantheon works best as a limited time mode that comes out near the end of every episode/season
Rift is basically a round so basically it doesn’t make going to round 50 slower
Every 6th round is a rift round and after that would be round 7 which is a wave of enemies
It’s not a thing you do between rounds
Shiny weapons have 2 perks in the 3rd and 4th slots no ???
Yes, the update is good but it still won't change my mind on buying Light Fall

This was a great update but why the hell is Bungie sunseting it just because there new expansion is coming out this decision proves Bungie don't know WTF they are doing any more.
I prefer it over gambit. I'm so done with that mode.
Onslaught is fine but very repetitive and boring especially by just using old locations, also it’s been pretty buggy. Shiny drops should stay rather than be fomo, whisper and zero hour coming back is great but they shouldn’t have been removed anyway so no points there. Pantheon is a great idea executed poorly and again fomo. It just felt like a panic update, they had an emergency button when the playerbase is at its wits end and they hope that this will help push people into getting fs.
I’m my opinion shadowkeep sucked so much because most was recycled content and I’d rather enjoy curse of Osiris then doing a whole campaign on a place I did in the previous game.
Wrath isn't coming back, outbreak is in the game and you can get it in the exotic mission lol
Bungie has said that they will make a NEW exotic for returning raids that already have their exotic available by other means

"...how terrible Lightfall was." I'm exhausted with this narrative all year. The campaign's narrative was bad, but otherwise IMO the expansion was solid; Strand was a runaway success that only got better and better throughout the year, the campaign missions were fun to play (narrative notwithstanding), and the seasons have been solid (including Witch, which IMO is a top 3 all time season). I would even say the weak narrative is overblown, as it was just made worse by the fact that it followed the Witch Queen; if we'd never had the high of Witch Queen's narrative, Lightfall's narrative wouldn't have stood out (remember that the standing line for much of Destiny's history has been that it has no coherent story).
Yet the narrative all year, particularly from content creators, has been that Lightfall was some catastrophic trainwreck. I disagree with that and have continued to have fun playing throughout the year.
The reason you had fun playing throughout the year wasn’t because of Lightfall, it was because of the seasons and free content that followed
@@demonjoe yes and no, I enjoyed Terminal Overload and Strand, but are the seasons not considered part of Lightfall in the context of this discussion? When you talk about how terrible Lightfall was, are you really just referring to the expansion itself (ie the first 2-3 weeks)?

Bungie should remove onslaught and bring it back as the guardian game, game mode with refreshed weapons every year.
Putting in vanguard playlist with no attunement or tokens will kill it.
