I have got about 50 Crux Rockets and the god roll and didn't even go looking for it, it drops like leaves in the Fall. You need to play more varied content lol
A huge bonus (for me at least) is that Epochal has Harmonic Resonance as its Origin Perk, being the only Energy primary ammo weapon with it. This means you get to synergise Conditional Finality (easily my top exotic at the moment, plus has Harmonic Resonance as a hidden perk) and Briar’s Contempt in my heavy slot. HR x 2 give fantastic bonuses to reload, handling and ready speed, as well as (I believe) an extra 10% bonus damage to Lucent Hive and Tormentors. Works fantastic for all of my solar hunter builds currently!
Scatter Signal, Epochal Integration, Dragon's Breath. These are the meta weapons this season.

When Dragon's Breath was first announced, it sounded pretty mediocre on paper. But once I got it in my hands I fell in love with it, it's SO good. The only downside is that I can't use Sunshot at the same time, and I've been using that in all my solar loadouts since last season. I suspect that's why Epochal Integration has become more popular, it's a decent substitute if you don't have Zaoli's Bane. Although I've actually seen a lot of people using Epochal Integration in PVP, which is kind of odd. Maybe it feels really good in PVP? I dunno, I mainly use Austringer.
I've used both Austringer and Epochal Integration in PVP, Keep Away and Eye of the Storm actually works really well on Epochal and has allowed me to clear duels pretty easily- might be a huge issue on my part, but Austringer just isn't it for me after Thorn / Igneous / Epochal, it feels as though it's fallen off but it IS still good, but I guess that might be part of the reason why Epochal is being run more- the perks on it are pretty good for a quest weapon that's really easy to finish
Totally agree, especially with the artifact perk that lets rocket launchers do extra damage on overload enemies, I solo master lost sectors so easy now.
I've gotten a bunch of Crux Terminations from Legendary Lost Sectors.
Also, I love the Avalanche, but I swear I run out of ammo for it way more often than Unwavering Duty (or really any other MGs), even with the same scav, finder, and reserve mods.
My top PVE exotics are Sunshot, Polaris Lance, Malfeasance, Quicksilver Storm, and Osteo Striga. I rarely run exotic heavy weapons as I have every updated Last Wish weapon crafted, so Reconstruction/Bait and Switch Apex Predator pretty much is my number 1 heavy go to, or a Killing Tally or Target Lock LMG, or Incandescent LMG depending on what I’m using my heavy for. I use Zaouli’s Bane, Drang, Tyranny of Heaven, or Ammit over Calus Mini Tool for an incandescent rolled energy weapon if I’m running Osteo or Malfeasance. Those are for my Solar builds, I have quite a few other weapons for other builds, like a Voltshot/Frenzy Posterity for my arc Hunter build…
its worth mentioning that epochal integration has nanotech tracer rockets which with perk specialization on the artifact is about the same buff as explosive payload. no aoe though.

Returning player so i dont have alot of the meta items....but thankfully got lucky with a crux with bipod / reconstruction. Great boss weapon!
If youre having trouble getting crux or any world drop, take it from someone who has 15+ each of crux / marcado god rolls. Marcado with demo / onslaught or adagio is great. They have small perk pools so its easy to get god rolls if you can get them to drop. Ive been using clown cartridge / explosive light crux on bosses and using bipod / reconstructing on master lost sectors champs with crux all day.
And thats how i get more. When you do a master lost sector which takes about 3 to 3.5 minutes you not only get a guaranteed world loot weapon but you get an almost always guaranteed additional world drop loot on top of it from the chest loot on top of 1 or more random engram drops during the run. Just spam master lost sectors and youll have plenty of crux / marcado god rolls. Ive gotten 2-3 per run sometimes.
Do we have to do it solo or can we run it with someone?
For this nightfall on moon my set up is sunshot, pardon of dust/disorienting nades. And avalanche with rewind rounds/incandescent. Paired with artifact and certain build I generate 80ish orbs of light. Around 150-240 kills. And no deaths most the time. Every run
honestly moon battleground isn't that difficult of a grandmaster if you cheese it, and any solar build will make it super easy to farm

calus mini tool was the first weapon i crafted from its season and ive used it ever since and playing on solar hunter i loooove grave robber in the first column never need to reload and make loads of ignitions
any1 know what happened to the other weapons in the same set as Epochal cuz in the promos for LF there was 2/3 weapons (including Epochal) that had the same pattern as Epochal
Amazing that Vex Mythoclast is not on this list as it shreds everything when coupled with Rain of Fire and the artifact mods.
Not many players have Vex. It took me almost 20 play throughs of VoG to get it, and one of my clan members has like 50 clears and hasn’t gotten it… it’s a tough weapon to get.

Against non taken enemies Warden's Law does the most damage with Lucky Pants. Crux Termination is a beast! I got 2 of them both dropped with reconstruction and 1 dropped with tracking and the other with bipod! I shouted with joy when I got both of them. They both have never left my loadout since! I use either/or depending on the activity! It's soo good!
Vex Mythoclast is very good too!!! With the warlcok boots that makes you radiant u constantly keep the buff active!
I use both epochal integration and zauli's bane because i use epochal for builds that uses a lot of precision kills like celestial nighthawk and i use zauli for other solar builds because I dont want to craft another zauli

Imo fixed odds is a much better solar lmg, the combo of field prep and incandecent or killing tally slays.
But i guess because you need to grid duality for 5 red borders, which makes it much harder to get and thus much less popular

Polaris Lance doesn't do ignitions with its charged shot, but however, it DOES apply a ridiculous amount of scorch per charged shot. Two charged shots will cause an ignition if fired at the same enemy.
If you run Ember of Ashes plus the artifact mod that causes solar weapons to scorch enemies while radiant, Polaris will ignite in one perfect fifth shot. Makes it do crazy damage

Calus minitool also gets grave robber in the left column and that was my go-to on solar titan before bonk hammer got put in the grave.
Rip the only time I use bonk now is with severance enclosure in gambit and even there it's so sluggish.
@@Bubbagaming69420 Yeah it kinda sucks. It wouldn't be that bad if restoration wasn't also hit but restoration and the hammer cool down together just ruined it. Bungo doesn't understand that the reason we ran solar and strand is because arc sucks, stasis mostly sucks, and void is good for niche things like peregrine. Rollback the hoil nerfs and then void and arc get used more. But both of those subclasses have been nerfed into the ground because of pvp.

avalanche's inventory stat is bugged and its quite low so I never use it over the dungeon lmg

Forbearance not being in the top 15 just feels weird. Maybe it wont get nerfed like I thought. I mean it probably will next season but if it stays out of the top 15 maybe not?
It still is a fantastic weapon and is probably still in the top 25, but solar is far and away king this season due to the artifact builds.
People are probably just bored of it too

I’m really surprised Polaris isn’t no.1 since it’s all everybody’s using in GM’s. Then again not everyone GM’s, so I guess Sunshot and Dragon’s Breath are the better choice in regular activities
I think the majority of the use of dragons breath comes from people trying to get catalyst regardless of how good it is

You can run LW weekly to get the loot from those chests but to actually Farm it you need to wait until the raid is in rotation (it'll have the pinnacle challenge gold coin symbol next to it when you look). Root is on this week so I think it should be back in rotation next week though not 100%

Yeah the Trials one is great too, with the massive downside though of having to play Trials which I imagine most PVE mains aren't going to want to deal with
@@demonjoe oh ok that makes sense then. I remember when the trials LMG came out and I compared the base stats and was dumbfounded by how much better the base stats were. So naturally it forced me into trials to chase it. Many headaches later and I still didn't get the god roll but killing tally with alacrity for solo content has been a godsend for me.

Wishender will rise as GMs are released. Flint striker isnt as reliable.
Once everyone wants to gild conq or they do double nightfall wishender is too good (i hate it but it is just the best anti barrier option hands down - unlimited ammo, wall hacks, super regen, increased heavy drops from using exotic primary). Thing is busted.
Idk why ppl use ammit over abyss defiant. Just everything about abyss is better.

Because the vast majority of the playerbase doesn't raid and LFG raids are a shitshow.
450s do more damage and feel better than 360s, and Ammit has a better first column perk than Abyss, so if you want to run an Incandescent AR then why wouldn’t you run Ammit

Polaris is overrated af. While you’re radiant, the ignitions from the gun will indeed PROC but won’t grant an unstoppable stun
I ran the GM last week with no champ weapons and just Lance.. seemed to work fine for both champ types tbh
