Never liked special GL’s until I got a 5/5 mountaintop with handling😭 absolutely insane
Shout out to the BXR.
I used the BXR for the blast furnace mission and that thing shreds still.
Nothing will replace my crafted pugilist incandescent roll for my titan. When I'm not running sunshot their is no replacement than the bxr!
It literally carried me and my team through 50 legend waves.

Midnight Coup: Explosive + One for All. 1 shot into a group and explosive procs one for all. No need to shoot 3 targets, your first shot did it. +35% damage now. Instant incredible roll.
I know it’s almost unnoticeable but explo frenzy on coup is better than fatebringer because it has the built in mini demo with the origin trait
Bro i was literally thinking about this as I don’t have a fatebringer, what barrel and mag shall I get? Is it just me who likes shield piercing because it feels so weak not being able to pierce shields on any weapons
The fact we still can’t craft fatebringer after all this time is criminal.

If you are worrying that catafract is better than edge transit, because it surgemaches with scatter signal, you sould not be using scatter signal at this point.

I can't stand desperate measures for some reason. Deleted a midnight coup with that god roll and been using one for all instead. Feels so much better.
Same dude i really dont get the hype. I hate the play loop. OFA just feels 10x better

Personally explosive one for all is easier to proc than desperate measures. Literally 35% for hitting 3 enemies vs only 20-30 after 1 or 2 abilities, pick your poison wisely
You can't re-proc OFA until it runs out, which then takes three more hits. This results in way more down time than people realize. DM can re-proc on any kill and works with regular melee kills (unsure if glaives count). Both are equally great, depending on your build/playstyle. I prefer for OFA for range and DM for CQ.
@@ghostrobot3714Yeah but you have the damage buff until it runs out. And when you no longer have the buff it’s an almost instant re proc with 0 kills. It’s 110% better than desperate measures.
I have shiny forbearance with demo plus chain reaction and it's good as you said it is.
Isnt the midnight cou roll the one, that you get as a fixed roll wenn finishing the quest ?

I too thought the Cascade-Decon Edge Transit was just cope, but then I had it drop for me, and omg... it cooks! Does depend on the boss and whether it's easier to proc cascade or BnS, so I'm keeping a roll of each just to see which I end up using more.

Blast Furnace deserves to be at least A tier in my book, but I also am a Pulse Rifle guy. Love how they feel and always loved the four-burst frame. Granted, I joined up in Season of Arrivals and didn't know much about the forges, so it's also a factor where it's a gun that I never could get and always wanted. but honestly, the perks for Blast Furnace make it really great. Kinetic Tremors/Firefly goes hard in PvE and made onslaught so fun since it cleans up ads while it can help chunk down stronger enemies. Still kind want the OFA roll!
Heal clip and incandescent are fire i have this roll and ive ran 50waves multiple times
Explosive frenzy on coup is great, you get 2 more in the mag extra and a great origin trait over the fatebringer. Plus to me something about midnight coup’s sound is just so crispy
Im looking for the Mountaintop with Impulse Amplifier and Vorpahl Weapon, do love the one I got with auto loading holster and recombination though!
Think I just about agree with everything for the most part outside of just personal preference perks. Good list! Have gotten a couple of good shinies and lucky I've got a my 5/5 shiny midnight explosive and frenzy/desperate and 5/5 shiny edge with sticky, auto load and deconstruct with handling. Just need a good hammer and better mountain!
I got your recluse with subsistance+ desperate mesures when i just want my midnight coup with explosive and desperate measures so i can be done with onslaught as a pve player

I have a roll of Midnight Coup with Extended Barrel or Corkscrew, Tactical Mag, Explosive Payload, Desperate Measures, and a Range masterwork. I've been targeting a roll with Explosive Payload and Kinetic Tremors, and I have one but it has just one boost to Range, Extended Barrel. I was hoping for this roll with a higher Range stat, but I think it will be fine if I don't.
My PvP roll I plan to experiment with this week has Extended Barrel, Tactical Mag, Explosive Payload, Zen Moment, and a Range masterwork. At first I wasn't happy that I yet again got Tactical Mag instead of Accurized Rounds (which has happened, many, many times during this event), but then I realized I have 13 rounds without a Backup Mag mod and can get either 100 Recoil Direction or extra effectiveness in the air with other mods, so I got over losing ~1m of reach pretty quickly, which Explosive Payload is going to help compensate for to some degree anyway.
I got both versions of midnight coup
One with explosive payload and frenzy
The other with explosive payload and desperate measures and I love it
I was able to get my shiny god roll midnight coup with explosive payload and one for all. That was my #1 priority with into the light and I was freaking out when it dropped in the shiny form
Just check my vault and I got a shiny recluse with sub and desperate measures lol
I use repulsor desperate measures on hunter and warlock. All u have to do is change one fragment for volatile rounds or weakening grenades. Pairs perfectly with contraverse hold
I’m confused, why would you ever want desperate measures instead of one for all on midnight? OFA has a higher damage buff and is easier to proc, am I missing something?
OFA can not be refreshed, Desperate Measures can keep refreshing on itself, resulting in higher uptime.
All the play testing says One for All. Only about 20 videos of actual game play, not the I think, I like we see here. Check out Aztecross video with the number breakdown or any of the other videos.
They need more scopes like the long shadow to switch between because I'm tired of long zoom only

As a PvE noob, can you also add the types of barrels and masterworks for each type of gun? I usually go for range for most things so in GMs I can sit back and still get solid damage but I'm guessing it's different for different guns. Thanks !
it will depend on whether you want to lean into the strengths of a weapon or compensate for weaknesses. for me i hate reloading and i hate slow weapons, so those are often the first things i fix.
I have been very blessed to have that S-Tier 5/5 Mountaintop. Its every bit as insane as people think. Being able to 1-shot champs is godly
I'm at 703 kills on my Envious / Deconstruct Roll.. I put about 500 into the Bait and Swtich Roll. The amount of Burst damage you can get in with Deconstruct I think out ways the Bait and Swtich. You also don't have to structure your playstyle around having to proc BnS. I'm using it with Izzy and Subjunctive. It'll be my TFS loadout for Raid
I got that S rank mountain top as a shiny and I don't think I'll be that lucky again 😂

I know this is a new development, but pulse rifles are getting a pretty major buff. Should make them usable in PVE.
Great video. Only thing I disagree with is the placement of Elsie’s rifle and the opinion on pulse rifles. Outbreak Perfected, for example, has been my go to weapon since D1.
I kept 1 hung jury. It rolled shiny with kinetix tremors, shoot to loot, firefly, explosive payload. So I kept that and deleted every other copy of it I had from the previous versions 😂
Blast furnace would be amazing if kinetic legendary primaries were worth using over energy and exotics
For the recluse, I know subsistence is incredible for at level content but endgame, I’m looking at enlightened action and desperate measures. Enlightened action pretty much maxes out your reload just by getting hits on those tanky enemies.
Hot take: subsistence might be the most overrated perk in the game. Reload speed or utility (i.e. demo, repulsor) perks 100% for smgs/sidearms.

I’m not too knowledgeable of the meta with abilities rn cause I use healing grenade everytime, but I’d argue EP / OFA might be better then EP / D Measures considering you get the buff measures gives you just from shooting something once due to the Blast Radius on EP

I personally prefer firefly one for all on the coup since they feed into each other. I've been using it in nearly every level of content and it absolutely slays.

Telling you right now and no idea why it’s slept on so much, one for all clears as the pairing with explosive payload imo. Based on the build & main as well I can see the appeal to desperate measures but the fact ONE SHOT has the ability to activate the slightly higher damage buff
ever since mountaintop came out I’ve gotten literally 1 shiny of it meanwhile I’ve gotten like 16 shiny of every other gun and even the shiny god roll of some of them (forbearance and edge transit)
I got a shiny hammerhead with killing tally rampage envious and desperate measures so im happy with that replacing my 10k kills commemoration but like damn man getting a shiny gun for the weapon you’ve attuned for shouldn’t be this rare IVE ONLY GOTTEN 1 MOUNTAINTOP AND ITS BEEN LIKE 2 WEEKS NOW
For me personally anytime I see a forbearance or succession from onslaught I auto dismantle, both of them can already be crafted

I just got the 5/5 Mountain Top and thought of this video. Auto /Recombination, Implosion, Hard Launch and Handling masterwork. ... Not shiny =/ but I don't mind that.
IMO heal clip>explosive payload. I have a god roll harrowed Zaoulis. Will be swapping it for Lunas when I get the roll I want
You're sleeping on this origin trait.. it's Demo lite. If you lean into that, you can make some amazing synergies/builds.
Speaking on PvE Luna’s howl, if you Zaoli’s, you don’t need to drain yourself for hours trying to get heal clip + incandescent on Luna’s but it’s still good, just for slightly different reasons. Zaoli’s is good due to the passive damage buff ep provides plus incandescent (of course). EP also provides additional range due to a portion of the damage not being subject to damage fall off. Luna’s on the other hand, doesn’t have EP and to get a damage perk you’d need to sacrifice incandescent. So… rather than competing against Zaoli’s, it needs to provide a unique advantage, this being heal clip. I got lucky (if you consider turning in 650 trophies of bravery lucky) and got heal clip + incandescent on the day it released. I don’t consider myself a good player, but I’ve managed to solo a few dungeons and I’ve done most of the raids aside from Vog and heal clip on Luna’s has kept me alive more often then I wish to admit, because I’m not a perfect player, I don’t have absolutely everything memorised, I don’t sometimes forget I’m not running a healing grenade and kill myself with a solar grenade. It’s good.
I almost always play Void and mostly play PvE, and I love PRs - I got a Blast Furnace with Kinetic Tremors & Frenzy I really enjoy and Elsie's with a Repulsor Brace & Destabilising Rounds, got another with RB & Frenzy that I enjoy.
I wouldn't mind one with Rewind & Frenzy but I'm not desperate for it.
I got a Hung Jury with KT & EP, and one with KT & Firefly, but I prefer a previous one with Shoot to Loot and KT.
I wouldn't mind a Luna's with Heal Clip and Incandescent, but I don't care for HCs.
I would like a Midnight Coup with Firefly and OFA, but not desperate for it.
I have the KT & EP combo on Hung Jury, don't care for it on a HC.
I have a Hammerhead with Rewind and Onslaught, I like it.
I got a recluse with the same combo as an Elsie's that I enhoy, RB & DR.
I got one with Sub & Frenzy, auto delete because I have a perfect Funnelweb.
I have a shiny Edge Transit with Envious, Bait and Switch, Autoloader, Explosive Light or whatever it's called - don't care for heavy GLs but it's nice having a good roll.
I have a Forbearance with Demo & Chain, didn't even focus it, first one that dropped.
I would like a Mountaintop with Autoloader & Recombination, but I'm not overly fussed.
I don't care for the sword.
I can't think of much else, I got most of what I'm chasing I think.
Currently have Luna's focused and wanting one with Heal Clip & Incandescent, but I'm also chasing the Adhorative PR and I would like the SMG with it, I forfeit the name of it though - I just really want something with Heal Clip.
brave weapons are better than their original counterpart simply due to presense of a really good origin triat, Succession and Recluse both can grant free additional ability energy simply for using it the same way as the old one, not something that is a "must have" but its something worth chasing if you like the grind.
I would love lunas howl if it wasn’t the achertype it is. It just feels weaker compared to other solar hand cannons that have incandescent

Deconstruct in combination with sticky nades works like FTTC for edge transit and grants you a lot of free ammo
succession has a unique roll with discord redirection that lets you use it as a primary as long as you keep procing discord
Yeah I saw a few clips of that on Twitter which seemed pretty cool, not anything I myself would end up using though

Frenzy imho is a much better damage trait over most of the others, yea its not as much but its always up no hoops

Instead of Hung Jury we should have had Brave Vision of Confluence (or Treads Upon Stars/ Badger CCL that use the same model)
A week ago, I attuned to Forbearance, then on my first lvl 50 run, a shiny Forb' dropped for me, with: Demolitionist/Ambitious, Chain Reaction/Wellspring. I mainly use it with an Arc Armamentarian titan. It's DISGUSTING! Oh, & Midnight Coup with EP/One For All, is S-Tier, all day long! (so far, I prefer it to the Firefly/One For All roll...)
Re Subsistence / Desperate Measures on Recluse, isn't Subsistence / Adrenaline Junkie on Funnelweb basically the same (or arguably slightly better). One grenade kill takes you straight to 33% and it, like Desperate Measures, refreshes on weapon kills after that.
Desperate measures has a longer duration which makes it more reliable to snag a kill to refresh the timer in higher end content.
And it procs when the weapon is stowed

I'd like to argue on the side of Lunas real quick heal clip when in a team environment is both incredibly useful for healing teammates and taking advantage benevolence

For me, Falling Guillotine will replace the Other Half. Skating with the Vortex Frame's heavy attack is faster and doesn't consume ammo if you do it right. That combined with enhanceable Eager Edge makes it overall better
They both have enhanced EE.
@@ghostrobot3714 Currently, Falling Guillotine doesn't, which is why Other Half is better for now. When Final Shape hits, Falling Guillotine will be enhanceable and overall better
I am honestly in love with lunas in PvE. It has replaced my zaoulis. I am using discord + incandescent. EP is not always needed. Low end content red bars die to 1 shot. End game content red bars take 3-4 shots with or without EP. I think we overvalue EP most of the time. However if/when we have overload hand cannon again EP is basically mandatory.
EP is not overvalued though. It gives you nearly infinite range on top of doing damage.
@@thebladesofkaos Dont get me wrong its a great perk but a lot of people act like it is a must have otherwise a hand cannon is trash. I used to feel this way personally. But after doing some testing I think at least I was over valuing it.

Nah, I think the falling guillotine deserves a big ass * next to it. C is really low for what is the BEST dps legend sword in the game. Not that it matters when the meta is not catered to it, but worth mentioning for a pick up.
As for reference you can pass on every other B and below weapons without missing a damn thing. But missing out on this sword might be costly..., maybe 🤷♂️

Maybe I’m just a bigger enjoyer of Desperate Measures as a perk than others, I think it kicks ass on Recluse
I can’t believe not one player is using lumina in onslaught😳 unlimited ammo and unlimited damage buff (same damage as a well) for the team if you know how to use it
Well is a 25% damage buff and lumina is a 35% damage buff. But, even saying that you aren't really going to be using it is because of ad clear exotics like Gal, Sunshot, Xeno (if it's LMG modifier.) Plus, on top of everything if you're using Sunshot you've already 24/7 radiant from the artifact mods anyways. Lumina is more for raids and doing more damage to boss whereas Onslaught the game is to ad clear as efficient/quickly as possible and lumina doesn't really do that.
Exotic heavies and sunshot are too strong
