I had a 2001 SR5 with some light all terrains....got 14 mpg with small tank...I could see the gas needle go down as I drove lol Besides the rust issue, I loved that truck

What size lift and mods if any were needed to fit the 35s?
This is a very nice rig, you don’t see a lot of guys building real rigs like this one anymore, i especially like your wheel and tire package, although overlooking the rest of the build like the amazing looking halos would be a sure mistake, due to how uniquely they contrast against the black of the truck, very very clean build…now I do have one question, that gas bill looks like I’d cry, which reminds me of an older tundra with the 4.7 v8, I’m not a Toyota guy so I don’t know much about their engines but does this 4Runner also have the 4.7 like the tundras ?
Nah, we have the 3.4L V6! But we have another 4Runner (2006) that has the V8 and it gets 20mpg versus this lifted 2001 with 12.5mpg
