Hola hola! Hope you're all staying healthy and safe! I just wanted to address a couple of points with this video. First, sensitivity is subjective, just because something might've irritated YOU doesn't mean it'll irritate everyone, and I wanted to cover a range of scopes: sunscreens that were alcohol + fragrance free, chemical sunscreens formulated to be for sensitive skin, mineral sunscreens, as well as zinc-free sunscreens since individuals can also be sensitive to those as well. Second, the way the EU focuses products around 'sensitive skin' is very different than the American approach, so some of those will still have alcohol, but be formulated to not irritate most skin types as well. Also, I based a handful of these off of commentor opinion as well, where those with sensitive skin have told me that products with ______ ingredient that is normally irritating to them didn't sting their skin! What're some of your favorite sunscreens for sensitive skin? xoxo, Ramon
Omgggg thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I’m sure you already know this, but you are a GIFT to us brown skin peeps, and now you’ve got us lil sensitive brown peeps too, omg you’re amazing 🥺
I also recommend the Skin Aqua Moisture Milk (blue bottle)! Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, affordable, lightweight, water-resistant, white cast-free, hybrid Japanese sunscreen very suitable for people with oily skin!
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive UV Face Fluid Spf50+ is one of the best sunscreens I have tried, my skin is sensitive to many sunscreens but this one NEVER stings, doesn't break me out, it is perfect! Sadly it is a very small bottle. But thanks Ramón for making me discover it!!
So helpful!! I really appreciate that your show us all the sunscreen applications because all the other youtubers just talk about it and you really show how it spreads and how it actually looks on the skin without talking forever. Keep it up!! Perfect video 🙏❤️👏
I bought the Sun Bum mineral based on your review and my eyes have stopped stinging. It works wonderfully under my makeup and helps to minimize the appearance of my pores. Thank you 😊. My sunscreen usage has now become a routine in the mornings and afternoons from your recommendations.
Two of my favourite sunscreens are mentioned for my sensitive ass rosacea skin! Canmake and LRP Shaka Fluid! I’m looking forward to try more from this line, Ramon 😌😻
COTZ!!!! Ever since I started using cotz I don't even bother trying new sunscreens cause it's so perfect for me and the price point is great for the amount you get. Also doesn't break me out ever even if I fall asleep wearing it
I was literally thinking about melanin friendly sunscreens sans alcohol this morning when I realized mine reeked of it! Happy for this video, GRACIAS RAMON!!! ❤️ ❤️
Holaaa 😀 I suggest u all the Ultrasun sunscreens, they use newer chimical filters that don't mess with my sensitive skin (like other sunscreens i used in the past) 😄
I am trying the Garnier sensitive skin one this week for the first time and- you did it again! I absolutely love it. First sunscreen I can apply directly on my eyelids that doesn't sting or burn. This and the eucerin oil control have got to be my favorite sunscreens I have tried and both came from your recommendations. Thank you!
@@wydmatt7294 yes it did! It's on my top 5. The only thing is I find it hard to get off, so when I use it, double cleansing is not optional, I have to do it
I’ve actually been searching for a video like this all morning!!!! It’s currently 7:42pm where I’m at and I’m so glad I stumbled across this video and more importantly your channel. You got yourself a new subscriber 😊
You really got me willing to try tinted mineral sunscreens! I have been struggling with the non-tinted versions for years cuz I just assumed the tinted color was not ever gonna fit my skintone - which is very similar to you in that we have a very unique and specific shade of brown-yellow that looks hideous with the wrong shade LOL. But these ones fit you so beautifully.. MUCH better than the white casts I've been dealing with and the oil stick chemical sunscreens. Thank you💞💞
Hi Ramon! ❤️ Could you do a video on sunscreen stains? (I find there's a lot of discussion by consumers but not much discussion by those with platforms).
@Leo L Omg yes, that's why I don't use sunscreens with avobenzone anymore, because of the rusty stains. (Look for 'butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane' in the ingredients, that's usually what causes it).
3 года назад+5
So I don’t have issues like this normally, the stains have normally just washed out with pretreatment. Hannah English on IG has been looking into this though, and according to her, the staining is a result of the filters reacting with metals/mineral deposits in water to essentially make rust stains, so rust remover works for that (I haven’t tried it, spot treat before you got ham spraying your clothes). She also recommends a pre-wash with cool water and NO detergent to help too, since heat and detergent can make the problem worse. Her advice, not mine, but she reviews an obscene amount of sunscreen so I trust her
@ I've tried those personally and they haven't worked, so I'm surprised you haven't had the same issues because being in West London, the water is very hard / mineral dense (so more reaction). I find it easier to avoid avobenzone but it's still useful to be made aware of beforehand, rather than learning the hard way. 😬
I have a white shirt that picked up the sunscreen really badly. Tried putting some lemon juice on it and leaving it out in the sun, essentially bleaching it but without bleach. Seems to have worked but I'm not sure how good it is for the longevity of the material, and probably not great to risk with expensive or delicate materials?
I used the shaka fluid sunscreen from la roche posay for a month and i must say its not good for sensitive or reactive skin at all, using it daily it eventually started to slightly sting when being applied... i dont have necessarily sensitive skin at all but the alcohol if literally 2nd or 3rd ingredient of the list, i didn't mind that until it started burning my skin 😭 if you have sensitive skin i really don't actually recommend ;-; in any case thank you for making this video because im still looking for a good sunscreen for sensitive skin :( ill look into some of these!!!!!!
That’s interesting because I have sensitive, rosacea skin and it’s one of the very few European chemical sunscreens that don’t irritate my skin. 👍🏼

💋💋💋💋thanks for this video !!!I love all your videos but this one is the one I've been wanting for it's such a nightmare finding the right sunscreen and then your skin type changes and you have to go through the whole process again 🤯😡🤪 💖💖💖
Thank you for this video! Idk if they renewed the 11 VILLAGE daily mild sun cream but for as far as i know it's not fragrance free! I own it and it says 'fragrance' in the ingredients and it actually has a very nice smell, definitely perfumey haha. Just wanted to comment this in case you missed it.
Yea i got the sunscreen for the same reason and on the box it had fragrance. Granted it was a while ago (6 months ago) and wonder if they took it off. But guess not 😅.

Nah I just missed it or maybe mine didn’t have it since I ordered it earlier?!
I use the Canmake sunscreen as my main sunscreen, and I layer the Sun Bum tinted over it, kind of like a BB/CC cream. It works pretty good, even in this Florida sun.
Cotz Flawless Complexion is so good. When I'm having an eczema flare it is gentle enough to not bother me and keep me protected. I want to try the last one you mentioned (I don't want to mess up the name) it seems like it would be very nice too.
You also might be knowledgeable why my son (my skin is dry sensitive but I can use a tinted mineral SPF because I'm not submerged in the water for hours like him) but he even struggles with repeated days with any SPF. I have been putting the P20 sensitive on his face and after more than 2 days in a row his face gets very red and dry and irritated. But he is a hard core swimmer so I'm always looking for something he can use especially for face. He uses the Black Girl kid but again after a few days the same thing. I feel like I have way too many spfs that never get used all the way through. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I love canmake! Recently bought the BG kids SPF hoping I’ll enjoy that one too. Which mineral SPF do you suggest for around the eyes? I can’t use chemical since they tend to burn my eyes
Honestly even though I have really sensitive skin I find most Japanese sunscreens (e.g. Skin Aqua and Suncut) don’t irritate me at all! On the other hand the la Roche Posay and Garnier often sting to apply! Love for reapplication though!

If you were to pick between the Cocokind sunscreen and the Kinship sunscreen, which do you prefer? I picked up the one from Kinship after watching a video of yours and I like it! I opt to set it with a little powder since my skin is oil-prone. I am intrigued by the Cocokind one as well though

I have the first one (Avene) at the moment - pale people beware! It can give a strong yellow tinge to the skin and when reapplying it starts looking really gross. Used it all through the summer and constantly had yellow smudges on my face.
the canmake one really isn't doing it for me, i love the texture and all but the stinging is just....wheww, i usually can tolerate little stinging around my eyes but this one took so long to actually subside
Ambre Solaire Super UV Anti Dark Spots & Anti Pollution Face Fluid SPF50+ is the new version of Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive UV Face Fluid Spf50+ ??????
Uggh, unfortunately it seems that they've added fragrance to the Village 11 sunscreen since you've posted this video. Argh, it was sounding perfect for me!
I know your video is old but I’ve never worn sunscreen and I honestly don’t have the best skincare routine (I use products that won’t irritate my skin). I have very dry, sensitive acne prone skin. Only my nose will get oily, the rest of my skin would be really dry. Which sunscreen do you recommend that I try first?
Love your videos Ramon. Will say that the Village 11 Factory in the yellow tube is not fragrance free. I know because i had gotten it for that reason and turns out it wasn't. Smells like scented soaps for me, which is not the most pleasant smell and leaves me greasy. Fragrance doesnt bother me but just wanted to tell you that it is not fragrance free.
3 года назад
Edit: someone else commented that theirs said ‘fragrance’ on the inci list and mine didnt. Apparently now it does! My bad. Great point! It does have a scent, but it doesn’t have actual fragrant or essential oil compounds in it. A wide number of extracts or ingredients can give a product a scent. Did you find your reacted to it?
@ no worries. I was wondering if the bottle you had was fragrance free but when i tried it it said fragrance on my bottle and the scent was a bit too strong and perfumey for my tastes to assume it came from the plant extracts lol. How weird you managed to get a fragrance free bottle and mine has 😅.
Also just curious, anyone know a mineral sunscreen without fragrance (good for sensitive skin) for a 55 year old woman? My mom got irritated skin from the biossance sunscreen and I was leaning towards the cocokind but was not sure
does the Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive UV Face Fluid Spf50+ bun eyes?

the canmake one really isn't doing it for me, i love the texture and all but the stinging is just....wheww, i usually can tolerate little stinging around my eyes but this one took so long to actually subside
im still gonna use it on my neck though
Agree, I love the canmake but I tried it around my eyes and burned so bad. I’m sticking to mineral SPF around my eyes
Someone please provide timestamps for every sunscreen. I need to pick one, but I can't remember all the differences and pros and cons haha
Ambre Solaire Super UV Anti Dark Spots & Anti Pollution Face Fluid SPF50+ is the new version of
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive UV Face Fluid Spf50+ ??????
The black girl kids sunscreen burned my eyes so bad and it very oily so I wouldn't recommend for oily skin types
Have you tried the gel verdio?
do you feel these are good to use under the eyes?
Where have you ordered these sunscreens from? I’m having a hard time finding most of them.
Either in store or online. Do the links in the description box not work?
Wait so ALL of these sunscreens don’t have alcohol and fragrance right
LOVE. ❤️
Body sunscreen recs plz!
Mam mai koi bhi sunscreen use kar lu tho meri skin dark ho jathi hai please help me aap mujhe sunscreen btaiye
Pls sunscreen for dry skin
Also just curious, anyone know a mineral sunscreen without fragrance (good for sensitive skin) for a 55 year old woman? My mom got irritated skin from the biossance sunscreen and I was leaning towards the cocokind but was not sure
Just thank u ❤
does the Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive UV Face Fluid Spf50+
bun eyes?
A lot of the comments in that video mentioned it worked nicely around sensitive eye areas! They changed the name of the product, but I’ve updated the links appropriately. Skin can be subjective though
@ Thankyou so much. You should do a video on how you keep suncream off of your eyes, almost crashed into a tree the other day...........
Apparently it’s almost identical to LRP Anthelios Invisible Fluid which is advertised for sensitive eyes. I never experienced any irritation with LRP.
What is your best recommendation for normal /dry high cheek bone/under eye sweat proof sunscreen. At the moment I have to use two different sunscreens. Am I the only one who does this???? Feedback will be appreciated ANYONE PLEASE 🙏
The cotz foam sunscreen is water Resistant and doesn't dry my skin out and sensitive enough around the eye area.
Can anyone tell me Which ones are oil free?
Does someone have recommendations for a zinc oxide and titanium dioxide sunscreen easy to get in Europe that doesn’t broke the bank?
Badger sunscreen
