60+ Rider in A/B Practice at Windy Hill 7-7-2024

  • Last minute call to open Windy Hill last Sunday was the best day of the holiday week since the temps were "only" about 90 with some clouds but high humidity. I rode with the faster riders today, but only had a few laps in me before I started getting tired. Toward the end of the video I am getting tired, a pack of them are catching me, and I start staying out of their way.

    56 here....I ride a KX450 on the hard enduro trails and rocks.......I may be a little slower these days, but I still have a great time !

    Hi Brian, hope you are well. I was impressed at how fast you are going in this video...do you ever race in 60+? ..if so how do you do? just curious at the speed of people in that class.

    What is a C Rider doing Going out with the fast guys. ? I am 70 and know some guys never slow down with age.

      @@steveireland6555 🤔 🤷‍♂️ are ya referring to me 😂 I’m prob good for 60A class 😂. Some guy’s noticeably slower out there. Last week’s video at the same place I rode C/D watch that one.

      @@steveireland6555 you can also just watch the videos on my channel that were from the week prior. The open practices get all skill levels, from true beginners to current current pros. Sometimes the C/D practices have a lot of true beginners but a huge difference in speed. The week prior it was very crowded also meaning the A/B group was crowded with fast guys and I didn’t want to get in their way. I feel safer dodging the slower guys than I do staying out of the way of the faster guys.
