@@mickeyreed9628 was a long time ago but did buy it new. On 2 strokes over many years breakin was pretty non existent. Although i raced locally pro when younger, when i bought this one i hadnt ridden in about 5 years so my breakin period was just a “getting used to it” period. Once you ride it couple times easy you will not hurt it. In fact, for most normal humans, you probably cant ride it hard enough to hurt it even at break in. Now if you just tap it out on the street or dirt roads i’d take it easy for a couple 20 min periods. When i raced competitively and rebuilt an engine i never broke them in just run it.

@@G1bson258 third or 4th. The trick is to keep the power on all the way. I tend to use the throttle to control my bike position in the air vs brake (i learned to ride before disk brakes 😂) so struggled getting over things but learned to just “holder wide” and go 😂

@@motolandry25 that was a good ride. 👌🏻 I finally figured out why i wasn’t clearing that step up good, I back off the throttle at the last second. My next ride I made a better effort and cleared it perfect. Same issue with the giant tabletop but I finally started clearing it.

@@steveireland6555 you can also just watch the videos on my channel that were from the week prior. The open practices get all skill levels, from true beginners to current current pros. Sometimes the C/D practices have a lot of true beginners but a huge difference in speed. The week prior it was very crowded also meaning the A/B group was crowded with fast guys and I didn’t want to get in their way. I feel safer dodging the slower guys than I do staying out of the way of the faster guys.

At this point thats what its about. It makes it fun to work to be healthy.

I certainly can’t speak for them its only my 2nd time to ride there. It probably would go over better with folks if they state it will be a shortened track due to lack of rain/ other issues. It was also late notice to be open last weekend but glad they did.

I don’t know Dan but he may be in some of my footage. Did he have numbers on the bike yet? And i thought about Budds Creek but I’ve not raced in 25 years!! 😮.

I don't know if he had numbers on. I really need to ride somewhere besides my house. Going to PA in 2 weeks for some races. I was asked if I'm going to Budds, we will see. More concerned with going to AMA Vintage Days and racing the following week after Budds. They get 140K people there over 3 days. It's so much fun. All vintage tho.....

Either its softening up in front a little, I’m getting used to it, or I’m getting fatter 😂 but seems to be working pretty good. Some of the fast chop coming into corners is still a little squirrelly but I think my forks are a little high in the clamps.
