Here’s a match-up you didn’t know you needed… Until today!
We’ve got Yianni lining up in a Lamborghini Aventador SV, and he’s about to go head-to-head against Mat in a ridiculous 600hp Toyota GR Yaris!
So let’s take a closer look at this ludicrous Yaris. It rolls up with a fully built 1.6-litre 3-cylinder turbo engine that produces a ridiculous 630hp and 430Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed sequential manual gearbox, and almost every aspect of the car has been modded and upgraded! It doesn’t come cheap though - all in it costs an eye-watering £130,000!
Then we come to the Lambo. It’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that delivers 750hp and 690Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox, and as new it costs around £238,000.

Most tuned Honda and Toyota engine are still more reliable than any Lambo or Ferrari. The tuned Honda K series engines and the Toyota 2JZ engine been beating the Supercar since the 90s

The AE86 that its named after was a 1.6L corolla anyway. i know its got to do with the center of gravity but 300hp in the gr86 would be perfect and its more reliable and sounds better. or at least a better form of the boxer. the GR86 is a huge let down.

aventador is miles ahead in terms of design its truly timeless like the la ferrari or 918 spyder on the other hand the revuelto doesnt have a mature design and itll age pretty fast....

11:36 GR was doing 118 k/h at 3000rpm while the Aventador was at 113 / 6880rpm. Mat then boosts to 6250rpm and the GR Yaris jumps to 130++ k/h in a second
Yeah the calibration of the cluster is lagging, mostly not designed for that much power so it lags behind. But if you listen to the revs, they'll tell ya everything 😂

This GR is spectacular, the Japanese engineers are incredible. 1.6l single turbo and 3 cylinders produce 630hp.. trophy
That's the power of tuning, there are many engines capable of this, not just Japanese.

@@B4NSKII23 sequentials are manual by design, there is no automatic mode, it's not like paddle shifting a DSG or torque converter that can also do auto, there is no electronic clutch operation, instead it's a hydraulic actuator acted on by the shifter. So it is in fact, a manual.
The sound of that Gintani exhaust is just melodious, mated to a V12 it's just pure eargasm.
The Porsche 911 GT1 also sounds as epic as this Lambo.

The Aventador, despite its flaws, is the pinnacle of Lamborghini. The howling sound, the menacing looks, and those neck breaking gear shifts are an ode to the supercars of old. Flawed yet irresistible.

@@sjm.photos Yes, but now try and mod the said "regular car" into FIA WRC standards and see if they will ever legalize it. Those mods, on that Yaris are forbidden in most countries, including the US. That thing would be stopped by the police on a daily basis, even if DMV licensed. In most european countries, just changing the color is a nightmare itself, not to mention mods. Germany is the worst of the lot, with Portugal being a nice contender for the first place of pain in the ass just to legalize anything different from the stock car.

The way GR pull off on rolling race is very satisfying. Crazy mods on GR and the V12 Aventador engine is insane, peaked the audio.
GR Supra and 1997 Supra Turbo can do that too.

This is truly the most exciting and unexpected video comparing a 12-cylinder (V12) to a mere 3-cylinder 1.6-liter. It's crazy that one has 630 & +700 🚀 horsepower's! The sound of the 12-cylinder (V12) Aventador with its full exhaust system is absolutely amazing, echoing beautifully around the track. Its black color makes it look like a bullet or a black missile on the ground. What's even more surprising is that the small-engine Yaris GR is competing against it.
