+Anugerah Ardiansyah so i download this music on my i phone and hooked it up to my car...and drive to go to mc donald and lisstin to this at night its not bad.
you just dont understand, first off you think vaporwave and future funk are the same thing, that by itself kills your street credit so hard i dont even need saying more.
The way this song progresses kind of reminds me of trying to think of an old faint memory from your childhood. At first the song is skipping like crazy as if you're trying to piece together what you remember, but gradually more of the song is revealed and becomes more solid as you jog your memeory, until it's a complete song by the end. In that sense it goes with the whole idea of vaporwave very well.
I can't post the direct link to the video without it being spam, but the source for a lot of these clips is the video "MAGI Synthavision 1984 Demo Reel" for anyone curious.
You need to be extremely talented to just use seconds of the original song and make 4 minutes, literally this is one of the best examples of correct reconstruction of something.
This reminds me of my parents raising me in the 90s for somer reason. Taking me to the mall, or to camping trips. Seeing them in my old home watching movies on our big TV with those huge ass speakers. Glimpses of the late 90s enter my mind. How they were in the past. How we were.
I think it's interesting at 2:18, it's the first 6 notes of If I Saw You Again played at 3 different speeds on top of each other. With the cymbal reverb it really gives an interesting effect.
The noodles walking down the steps at 0:18 are so poetic, like no matter who you are and what you're going to be. there's going to be people who think you are stupid and eventually you have to escape that somehow. Those noodles sum it up nicely.
2:35 till the end is seriously some of the best fucking visuals I have ever seen in my life. Something about that head spinning on the platform with various effects coming in (especially the lightning) really add another dimension to this already amazing song. I cant even imagine any other visuals being put to this. Elfamoso your a genius for this classic creation of a video.
The beginning reminds me of my childhood nickname which was Glitchy. I was called this because technology always goofed up with me and I had a stutter. Then I grew up dyed my hair purple and now I'm the town's vaporwave cryptid.
I always find myself coming back to this song. The music and the visuals really drag you in. With every re-view I notice something I didn't know before
despite the fact, that track #2 from Floral Shoppe is its most famous one. track's #1 and #3 are my personal favorites off the entire album.. crazy to think that it's been almost a decade since its release, honestly..
yea, I noticed I mostly get nostalgic from when I first listened to vaporwave as a kid like in 2015. I began laughing at the cgi midway through the video because I was thinking about how back then in the early 2000s it used to be cutting edge technology, but now it just looks terrible. After that I was just wondering how Macintosh plus was able to come up with this type of music lol
I ate an edible from a friend that was 50 mg and this was kinda what i saw in my trip and ig what i had could have been fake weed put this video at 2 speed it will be exactly like it in a way
I feel a presence of vaporwave while playing the Mavis Beacon typing program. The animation and the feeling of the games with this music make me think of the 80s/90s in a city and somewhat of the first fast and furious movie and the feeling of the era
This is the feeling you had as a kid when you went to your grandparents house and started rummaging through their things. Picking up old VHS tapes, old CDs, floppy discs, and putting them through their Windows 95 computer, and old TV's to see what was on all of them.
I love how this variant of vaporwave sounds like what you would hear if you could record your brain as you’re trying to remember how one of your favorite songs goes. This song is pretty great!

Thank ElfamosoDemon, thanks for finding 3 min worth of footage instead of looping an anime gif for the entire song.
Seriously underrated
its an edit by elfamoso
The reason people do that is because if they play full clips of something. It gets copyrighted and the whole video gets taken down. Gifs are just gifs
Triple visuals
you just dont understand, first off you think vaporwave and future funk are the same thing, that by itself kills your street credit so hard i dont even need saying more.

i don't get why people hate vaporwave for sampling shit when, in hiphop, this would be like dynamic in terms of production

I always like to listen to floral shoppe whenever it’s an extremely cold winter night, it gives off a cold wintery vibe to me. Anyone else?
Absolutely. I think the first half of the album fits that vibe well. The back half lends itself to a warmer vibe though, particularly track 6.
Definitely. ECCO makes me always feel like I’m in a pool. And the rest of the album is like a summer night.
Me rn, yessirr
i like listening to it when im at the mall or on rainy summer nights
