Hey is the cassette release of this from Tracking Waves legit? I’m worried it might be a scam since this label is the same dude as Alternate Skies and he is notorious for scamming and not sending tapes/vinyl.
This is a true tribute to the famous Vektroid and Floral Shoppe in every way. Some songs use a sample from the same album of the sample in the corresponding Floral Shoppe track. I really appreciate that. For example: Diana Ross is sampled in track 2, the same album that has It's Your Move (this one uses Touch By Touch). Not only that, but it's mixed in the same way, with the lyrics first being only one word at a time, as the first part loops, and with the echo reverberating as it goes on. It's basically like if you switched out the song Floral Shoppe samples, a concept I find really fascinating. Also I love the detail of it being Macintosh MINUS. I'm really glad I found this hidden gem. It's cool to know that someone out there did this out of love for that classic album.
Also, the cover art is pretty much the exact reverse of Floral Shoppe's. The figure is on the right side instead of the left, the letters showing the name of the artist and album are emerging from the left side of it's head, the picture of new york is now set in the night instead of the morning, and the album's cover uses a purple background with black checkers instead of a pink background with black checkers.
The original Floral Shoppe sounds like I'm slowly falling asleep while looking out my window to a sunset. This version sounds like I just woke up, and I'm seeing a sunrise outside my window. It feels like a direct sequel to the original, and it's very interesting. Absolutely delightful! I was wondering, could I talk about, and put a bit of this in a vaporwave video I'm working on?
Huh, for me it's the opposite (This one sounds like what floral shoppe sounds like falling asleep and the original sounds like floral shoppe while wide awake)
samples list: 1. Sade - Tar Baby 2. Diana Ross - Touch By Touch 3. Pages - Let It Go 4. Pages - Only A Dreamer/O. C. O. E. 5. Sade - Smooth Operator 6. Diana Ross - It's Your Move 7. Dancing Fantasy - Cry Nature 8. Dancing Fantasy - Voodoo Jammin 9. Dancing Fantasy - Massai Mara 10. Dancing Fantasy - Indian Charme 11. Elton John - Can You Feel the Love Tonight
I was thinking it was the MIDI version of the song, if that's what you're referring to. If you can identify any other samples that I missed, please tell me.

I love this, you can feel it’s vaporwave and you can point out the songs jazzy theme and it’s cut and chopped samples. It almost feels like The florral Shoppe album from a similar dimension.
This truly lives up to its name. It fits perfectly into the origional album. If these two were played end to end, I woudn't tell a difference. Everything is perfectly mingled together to the point where songs from the first album are mixed into this one, its a beautiful dance spiraling around perfection. Truly a masterpiece.
Vaporwave takes you back to another state of being. It's more than simple nostalgia, maybe not it at all, but a soul experience, a journey through time and space, past, present, and future... This is the power of music. 🎶🎶🌹💜💜💕

Last summer I did my first all-nighter, decided to listen to this album while watching the sun rise. Best decision I made that whole summer, I can't even begin to describe how incredible of an experience it was.
Please don't pull this album, it is truly a masterpiece, it shows how well you are with mixing, sampling and just overall how you know how to capture the vibes of the original floral shoppe, I really love how the tracks are cut to have the same mannerisms like the ones in FLORAL SHOPPE, I greatly look forward to more work from you and I also really am interested in sample-less vaporware. Thank you for this wonderful masterpiece!!
I love what you did with the third track. The third track (Floral Shoppe) on Macintosh Plus was my favorite as well, and you took it up a notch and made it more palatable here, on a cafe on the other side of the road.
This is a great tribute to Macintosh Plus! The thing that I like about the most is that it is kind of the same thing as Macintosh Plus, only except that the samples are switched, for example 03 in Macintosh Plus was "If I saw you again" by Pages In Macintosh Minus, however, its "Let it Go" by Pages! i love how this feels more energising in a way than sleep inducing, means i'll probably listen to this a lot more! even being mostly slow and laid back it sounds cheerful instead of drowsy melancholy i usually get from vaporwave..... what a good experience
I still come back to this album after several months. It's a beautiful homage but also something great by itself. I love the third track the most. Almost feels like the opener to a vapor television broadcast.
