I feel this way too! I want to yell about it and shake people by the shoulders. If this works for my son, if he’s able to even just cut down on his meds (with his Dr supervision of course) and maybe work part time I’d be happy. If this therapy can help him live a “normal” life? Finish school? Live on his own? Have a nice relationship? My gosh. It can’t be overstated how life altering this would be.

@@lisamatonis4579don't be holding onto NORMAL for some kind of goal you bestow on another person omg , no indication of what is normal has even been established , it's a conspiracy theory ... ppl that have nothing to give and nothing to say belonging to a general conscensus in the minds of anonymous is nothing but belittling a mindless pattern of behaviour to blend into the background.. normal is a very false confusing expectation to be of life's minimum expectations merely to live in quiet doesn't exist in the majority of ppl it's a really lazy excuse to put your head down and refuse to accept other ppl as intricate and far from oneself that are interesting ,or anything beyond mediocre people, how extremely limited No we will not try be normal ,if scared and afraid narrow minded ppl didn't ever use that word there would not be an judgement automatically assumed to be negative not normal 100% NOT.

Very cool video. I think the reason why people are so invested into the status of your digestive system (or your alleged reluctance) is simply the nature of para-social relationships. It's a really weird feature (?) of social media engagement that the audience will place you into their perceived social circles and then react to your lightest, most whimsical on-video expressions as some sort of magnified statement of intent or judgement. People aren't used to having friends with one-sided engagement (it's something that celebrities learned to ride the wave of as media became more of a daily thing) and now that we're in a situation where people can turn on the taps of para-social relationships while also isolating more from their real life friends and relationships, it's become something that mixes the positive aspects of community with the negative traits of addiction. It's got positives, it's got negatives, but I truly believe that the nature of the videos that you and Lauren make is bringing out the best of the people you're broadcasting to, and while it can be super weird at times, take heart in knowing that you're unintentionally or incidentally fishing out the optimal expressions that these people would share with those who knew them as well as they feel they know you.

Great update and the two of you are doing a wonderful service sharing your journey publicly - thank you for that!! Regarding pooping: I changed to a strict, under 30grams of carbs a day, keto way of eating 2 years go for Type 2 Diabetic reasons and it has worked for me...never going back to the old ways. In the group I am in supporting this, it seems many people do have a transition period for the bowel movements to adjust to the more nutrient dense foods being consumed...and I had to go through an adjustment period as well. I never felt uncomfortably bloated, like being constipated when eating the old way, with all those carbs and sugar. It was different not being regular for some months and trusting the eating plan and being consistent. I did use all the natural remedies and they all helped. Now my body has adjusted and I do not need to use anything. I have a BM most days...some times a day is skipped...sometimes 2 per day and never uncomfortable or bloated.
All this to say...just keep doing what you are doing and give your body time ;-)

Just drinking enough water can have a positive change on how your skin feels. I'm not great at drinking water but I remember one time I got sick many years ago, the only time my throat stopped hurting was when I would drink water so I drank lots of water all day long. It was a bit ironic that my skin looked the best when I was so sick and otherwise felt so poorly.

I had the belief that it had been done to me on purpose which was was backed up (pun intended lol) by the fact that when they weighed me i was at the exact lowest weight i could be for my height to be considered in the healthy weight range so they wouldnt have another reason to keep me there. And since i believe everything is lined up this made perfect sense to me. I would 0/10 recommend. I hope things work out for you whichever direction you go with your dietary choices.

Do we all have the same potential to digest any kind of diet? Knowing that some people just can't eat gluten and others milk products it seams obvious that some people don't have the capacity to go keto, to digest so much fat and protein. There must be some dispositions that are unchangeable like the colour of our hair and eyes, that apply also to our digestion. This is not to say that keto cannot work for some, I will be the first one to cheer you to try it. If it doesn't , it's not the end of the world, we just need to search for some other therapy, metabolic or whatever...Let our body be the guide. Happy to see that it works for Lauren.

    Hi, rob.
I'm in a very horrible situation couldn't make a comment or something else causes of high pressure on me myself, as before I'm ok to help you. Hey, starting a sport is easy but continueing needs support, I'm not ok to support you in my own situation, likely, how do I say, I'm somehow dying! Whatever, why don't you try other things activities enjoyable like planting together, going on a trip, and listeninf to your favorite musics, once you, once her, or once both you both like that music, then, focus on what she likes, that's too important for wemon. They like to be heared, you now showing a cold shoulder never is an answer! I'm sad, im upset, no! She needs you! Take time to her, go, listen to whatever she wants to say to you, then you can find a solution. I'm happy I could be together rob, and hope you both the bests, I've been mentioned that I may be Shahid, as much as I can support I do on. Don't worry.
I'm controlling all my country and begging for food here, that's funny isn't it? Yes it is, forget about it completely, I don't want to be mentioned publically, think on what can make you two both joy? Not one of you then one? However it is ok to do in any way, but it shows taking care of yourself together. Do you dance? It is funny, isnt it? What's your favorite dance rob? I'm not ok with not dancing. I like it. And dance like in group, it makes you more activated like indians, see their dances, how they are very good In dancing? For example a group named: quick style, I like their all kind of dances. So much energy, even Shakira had a concert and she danced amazing, I recommend participating in their concerts you like if you're able to by the time, I don't know what ever.
Now! What? I'm looking for a way to get out of this hell! I didn't get any answer on how to migrate to your country, I can't understand sometimes because I've gotten alzaymier unfortunately, you know, if you can talk to someone that hey, there is a genius here, see! Get negotiation with him, maybe we can help him! If my money ends for internet I've to beg! Yeah, that's right, that's funny!😄
They don't take care in my country, they say hey, you want to go abroad? Go! It's not my matter you don't find a job!? And what can I do!!!! After all these years, this is a message I'm willing to write before they come and take me to prison or hospitalized me! And I will tell you what a hospital is looklike here. 😄 thank you I hope you do well both. And everyone else everywhere. Bye rob...🥰

After about 1 year my son started to lose the weight. I don't know if you're the same, he also has had some other side effects lessen. He actually eats a lot of fast food but he did start working full-time as a custodian so maybe that's how he lost the weight.

"peak performance" is the name of the place where my brother does jui jitsu. that's a good sport! i bet you are lactose intolerant and eating too much dairy on keto, but I could be wrong, sorry for the advice, if it's too much. i take digestive enzymes for that and eat vegan cheese and non dairy milk. just a thought!

As a suffer of schizophrenia I've been taking oregano oil capsule once a day that contains 125mg of carvacrol that's a anti inflammatory. It helped a lot with headaches (pain). It's about as effective as ibuprofen in my opinion but you can take it long term which isn't the case with ibuprofen. I think it's worth a try.

As a cardiac patient, I can’t do Keto. I’m stuck on The Mediterrainean Diet and I’m cool with that. It’s improved my blood numbers.
So, fear not! Robb will figure out what’s best for him. Like, I LOVE cheese, BUT …

My coworker has a severe mental illness and I am concerned about my safety being around this individual. I told my boss my boss is fully aware of the situation .
Employee has anger outburst and other very odd behavior and talk that scare me and other employees.
This employee needs to be in a mental hospital seriously.
I was told just to ignore and walk away 😮
My boss is afraid that I am going to quit
Because I'm doing all the work ... Because he's not capable of doing anything due to his serious mental health condition. The company will not fire him as it was noted .
I don't know how to go about working with this coworker now I know how serious it is.
He sings very loud to songs on the radio, anger outburst, inappropriate behavior , inappropriate talk ect..
Any suggestions to help me avoid this employee are welcome !

No, not good for cardiovascular health. Fats and dairy can cause inflammation in the body too.

    1. Consuming a few tablespoons of Olive Oil daily can be effective in alleviating constipation.
    2. Magnesium Glycinate is known to aid in improving sleep quality.
    3. A mixture of half a teaspoon of Sea Salt in an 8-ounce glass of water can help in replenishing electrolytes.
    4. Taking Vitamin D (40,000 IU daily) in conjunction with K-2 (400 mcg daily) is essential for optimal health benefits, as they work synergistically.

It's weird, cuz whenever I try keto, I have intense diarrhea...
The thing is, I have an insane amount of fibre in my diet and when I'm trying keto, I get even more fibre... doesn't matter, still get diarrhea... on the other side, I have great bowel movements when I also have carbs...

I just feel that while yes it's a postive you feel a decrease in knee pain and inflammation, that a balanced report on the keto diet is better, rather than focussing only on positives, and glossing over negatives. Keto enthusiasts say ' it might not suit everybody' or words to that effect . But it's not a matter of suiting or not suiting everybody. Objectively it IS an extreme diet, and there are known negatives, increases in cardiovasular issues, increases in bad cholesterol, to state just two, so these things need to be raised and looked at equally, not cherry picking the good stuff. Yet we see so much of the starry eyed approach with keto converts.
How sustainable in the long run? Psychologically and physically. Isn't that the real test? I understand Lauren trying this as there have been studies to show the benefits with Schizophrenia. But otherwise, I don't think it's a diet to take on just to support a partner, when you have neither schizophrenia not a need to lose weight. Of course, this is just my point of view, I imagine you are okay with my raising these points and don't just want people agreeing with everything you say. (which I see from some comments below, they don't)
