Although living in Italy, my family and I really enjoyed watching Family Ties (and also other events with MJF).. Finding some on you tube (as well as parts of it I wasn't able to see then) make me happy. Tks! 🙏❤😊

Awesome sitcom Birney and Gross were this wonderfully beloved couple and Fox himself was a riot. Bless him for not being narcissistic or that would've ruined it.
My father was Air force and thankfully he deployed to Europe during the 70's and 80's as an air force brat my peers and I didn't have time to sit at home and watch TV again thank God for that there was 1 air force channel showing American shows but we didn't sit around and watched the stupid box we were to busy exploring off base Germany and Spain. My big brother and I came back to America still with the attitude of exploring. I honestly don't remember watching this show but threes company I do, I slightly remember family ties starting out as I was heading out the door. But I do respect mjf for how he came to America and got his pieces of the pie. I've really never been a phycophant..
Loved it, saw every episode. even recorded it to see the whole week long. The Should placed it on Netflix to watch it over and over again. at that time i even dressed liked Alex P. Keaton and was a FAN of Michel J. Fox (and i still am)
I liked the one episode where they used an all black stage to show Michael's inside mind in turmoil as he related to each of his family. He had lost a close friend, as the reason for this style of episode. Very strong drama with a deep message that episode, different than the usual comedy episode.
I grew up watching also as many have stated and forgot how funny it was but I watch the reruns on Rewind and on Paramount and laugh every time, shows now don't make me laugh 😢
Only 40 comments at the time I write this. The change in the show at season 1 is age old. Parents understanding the difference between them and their children. Also...seeing the effect that parents have on their children. It's a beautiful show. They always had the parents still being liberal, despite Alex's refusal of liberalism. And Alex learned lessons from that. Plus, we had drunk Tom Hanks.
14:47 Justine's olive complexion and long brown/black hair. No way she came from these two caucasian parents. haha It's no problem. In fact, I actually like it. It makes her look cool
I couldn't imagine, ANY other Actors/ Actresses, doing THIS Series❤......Michael and his TV FAMILY, were MORE than Perfect, THEY were GREAT 👍👍👍

This is not just about MJF but about Family Ties. Get the title straight. Also, RIP to Gary David Goldberg, who created this show.
I always watched just a great show Thursdays.
So privileged to be on time watching this show, heart warming and funny
I didn't know this documentary about Family Ties, it seems very interesting!

That line up of Cosby,Family Ties and Cheers was killer. Not sure what came on after I always had to go to bed after Cheers as a kid😂

Ah such good memories 🥲
I had a huge crush on Justine Bateman!
Série intemporal 👍
Siii, totalmente. Una obra maestra de la TV
Where is his bio episode at?
SIT UBO SIT ! GOOD DOG ! Woof!
All of the characters in family ties were important not just APK
It was good that the show ended when it did because, after all, Alex was in his 20s, and it didn't make sense for him to still be at home.
I don't know family ties ended on a high note I felt underwhelmed by its finale

They need to make more sitcoms like this instead of the crap they think is funny now.
Michael j. Wolf 🐺

FRIENDLY TIES MICHELLE PFEIFER DAVID E KELLY SANDRA BULLOCK GARRY HIXON JENNIE GARTH
His character was much better than his flakey hippie parents.
Michael did the best character on the show. Not Fox , the other Michael lol Who is naturally funny and witty without a script in front of him lol
