'Keep the sex dirty, and the fights clean.' God, only Michael could pull off this line and still come off wholesome and the family-friendly poster child for morality and standards. I love this man.
This is the Best "Back To The Future" You guys have done an amazing job, Nobody can replace these people. So happy that there was part 2, and 3. directors and cast where amazing, They deserve awards for everybody and everything.
I have to give MJF a load of credit. Going through this disease starting at such a young age, just seems unfair. Then when he broke his arm.... I broke my arm a couple years ago. I'm in my 60's so I can relate to the difficulties of having to deal with that. MJF, however, had to deal with that along with Parkinsons. I can say, it must have been excruciatingly painful for him. I say that because they didn't put my arm in a cast. I had to leave it splinted until they inserted a rod. It took a week for me to get the surgery so any movement whatsoever, would cause terrible pain. If he wasn't in a cast I cannot imagine the pain he would have had to deal with, considering Parkinsons causes so many involuntary movements. That had to be a nightmare. I remember, like MJF, standing outside of the store I fell in, leaning on a trash bin, waiting for an ambulance. It was just terrible. I love all of his work. The Scrubs episode was especially good. Oh and one last thing. His BTTF movies play a big role in my life. My daughter and I went to those movies together. When I got divorced shortly after, my daughter told me those movies always make her smile because it remindes her of our movie dates when she was just a little girl. God bless MJF, he truly is an inspiration for many! Sorry this got long.
It is also amazing that Fox is such a great actor that he manages to make his Parkinson symptoms look elegant and natural. I've seen people with P., and they look anything but elegant or natural.
@@annettegenovesi That is very true. You know it could be that because he got the disease at such a young age he was able to slowly adjust to it over the years. Verses getting it at, let's say age 65 and trying to manage it real quick. This next part is long but the info is interesting: Frankie Valli (FV) of the Four Seasons, had a similar situation. He was slowly going deaf, starting in the late 60's. But no one ever knew. Going deaf for a singer is definitely a career killer. He eventually got 85% of his hearing back in like 1980, when technology caught up with him, and he was able to find a Dr willing to do the surgery. Had he just lost his hearing real quick, he wouldn't have had the benefit of slowly adjusting to it so people wouldn't know. This is why I think, he was able to keep working. There are videos out there where he is recording a couple songs, and he would hold a headset to his ear. On stage he had to just wing it, and hope he was in key. I give guys like, MJF and FV a lot of credit. It takes a very brave person to get up in front of thousands if not millions of people, and lay it on the line.
@@sfcmp7005 Sure does. And one of my favorite classical composers, Ludwig van, also went deaf. Like him, Frankie Valli probably heard the music in his head. I do remember the Four Seasons from my youth. Thanks for the interesting info.
I put deep tissue tonic on such injuries. No kidding -miracle results. (No I do NOT sell or are part of the group. I'm just grateful for their stuff) Can get at American Botanical Society
Oh, I _love_ Back to the Future! For me, it sets a good precedent on how to make a successful, popular movie without any A-list celebrities in the main cast and with very few, if any special effects. The second and third Back to the Future films only had a budget increase of 11 million dollars from the first film, whereas The Terminator, another famous time-travel film to come one year before Back to the Future, started with 12.6 million dollars less than Back to the Future, then had two big budget jumps across two decades of 95.6 million more dollars for the second film Judgement Day, and another 98 million more dollars for the third film Rise of the Machines, mostly because the second and third Terminators required more expensive special effects that advanced with the times. July 17, 2022, 12:32pm
You can see how much respect Lloyd has for Fox in an interview (do not remember which one) you can see fox almost falls onto the couch from his parkinsons, Lloyd sees that and braces him helping him sit without falling, but he does it in a very casual way without drawing attention to it, to which Mike looks at him with a look of appreciation at the act but says nothing. That unspoken support for him shows jus thow much he cares, and I honestly think with as private as Lloyd is he agrees to do these BTTF events because Mike is going to be there and he wants to be supportive
Absolutely WONDERFUL in depth story telling of two incredible actors from a timeless movie that has imprinted all who have have experienced it, this heart-warmed 65 year old included. I truly could not stop watching! The incredible amount of reasearch and video clips are amazing! Bravo, @Biographer !! You've definitely have a new subscriber in me!
Thanks for such an inspiring video! BTTF is my favorite movie, and despite Zemeckis&Gale did not intend to shoot 3 or even 2 movies, I always considered the trilogy as an integrated whole. I don't even remember how many times I watched it! Greetings from Ukraine
My favorite Michael J. Fox role other than Marty McFly was Alex P Keaton. My favorite Christopher Lloyd role besides Doc Brown was Reverend Jim on taxi, which is also one of my favorite shows of all time. I enjoyed each of the movies from the trilogy. I would say the original was the best movie and it’s the most classic of the trio, but I loved the entire series from start to finish. This was a really good episode. I enjoyed hearing the different aspects of each actor’s life and career from both before and after back to the future.
Thank you for putting together this well documented video. I learned so much more about Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox. I admire them both for their work on Back To The Future which will always be my favorite movie franchise of all time.
This is a great video and I learned so much about two of my favorite characters. I had no idea that Lloyd was in some of those movies like Cuckoo's Nest. I had watched them and never thought that was him in them. And Fox is just so naturally great in every way. This is really terrific.
Christopher Lloyd may have been born in Stamford, but certainly not the Stamford shown in the biography! The film shown at the start was actually the original Stamford in Lincolnshire, England
These men will be immortalized through they’re work and long after they’re gone humanity will look at not only they’re work but they’re lives and go wow look at these two guys look at all they were against and look how they kept going and made it work and made themselves a great success to me they will forever be hero’s back to the future is one of the reasons I tought about becoming a writer and actually started writing and hoping to make one of my four stories a best seller one day thanks fellas
I appreciate when people put together great stuff like this video. What eludes me is why they never do the research on the pronunciation of gigawatt. Oddly enough, the way Doc Brown pronounce it, is the most correct, albeit not the most popular. This is because giga is derived from the Greek word, gigas, meaning giant.
Actually, the writers/director, Zemeckis and Gale did research the name with an real physicist consultant, who - back in the early 80's and before it became more widely known as it is today - did pronounce it "jig-a-wat," from apparently the Greek root "gigas," usually pronounced with a soft g (as in "j"). Do a search on "gigawatt pronunciation" you'll see a lot of interesting dual-explanations.
I thought "Back To The Future" was & is 3 very put together movies. These are the only 3 movies I have by these 2 guys because I loved it so much, VERY WELL DONE, ENJOYABLE.
Being able to remember that movie opening is like remembering Lincoln’s assassination or when the car was invented with how long ago it seems now, plus hearing about it in a historical context. I was only 5 but that doesn’t change anything

Taxi was my favorite show of the late 70's & still a lifelong fav. My older brother could do a spot on Rev. Jim, and my Dad & I watched the show together every week. My Dad would have been 100 this year and has long passed, but it brings back good memories 👍
Christopher Lloyd was in Back To The Future animated series (TV Series 1991-1993) plus the live action parts also in Expedition: Back to the Future (TV Mini Series 2021) where Michael J Fox was there for Charity for the Delorian as a prize.
If honestly I had to pick one out of the 3 films, it would be the first one the best out of 3 I think anyways, mostly because all of the original actors and actresses where there, chrispin Glover didn't come to the squeals and even sues the producers for replacing his character and Marty's girlfriend didn't come back too unfortunately her mother got sick (which I totally understand) because my own mother vassa past away 34 years ago on October 16 1988 from a brain aneurysm in her sleep at 38 years old and I was 16 at the time and found her dead body. Great video I've enjoyed it
Zemekis & Gale should at least consider doing some Cobra Kai style show with this, even if it’s animated because of Fox’s Parkinson’s I’m all for it, they’re getting old and I wouldn’t mind seeing one last RESPECTFUL incarnation of these characters 💯
I loved Back to the Future movies as a kid, and still do as an adult, and I was absolutely devastated when I learned Fox has Parkinson's after seeing a recent clip of him in Instagram. My appreciation to the actors of one of my favorite movies just went to a whole new level.
Producers and a few actors have said only 2 scenes throughout the 1st Back to the Future the original actor who played Marty was left in after watching numerous times, the scene when the Delorean comes back from the 1st time travel Michael J. Fox looks like cgi cut and pasted and the other scene is right before Marvin Berry asks him to play 1 more song "something that really cooks"
M.J.Fox as Teen Wolf Scott Howard is my second favorite werewolf with T.N.B.C. movie's wolfman as my third favorite werewolf, and D. Thewlis as Remus J. Lupin is my first favorite werewolf🐺
Michael never knew about BTTF as Gary Goldberg didn't want to lose him - so he never showed him the script & told Spielberg & Zemeckis 'No' - only after Eric didn't work out, they came & asked Gary again - Gary then gave Michael the script & allowed him to read the script & Michael agreed to do both the movie at night & Family Ties during the day. According to Michael's bio & Gary Goldberg.

@ 32:42 it is mentioned that it has come to a logical end yet my conclusion is that it is not logically come to a conclusion as the end of the 3rd film has doc Brown showing up on the train that ends up flying away so there should always been a four and a five and possibly more seeing how is it turned into a franchise I don't see why I didn't other than the fact that they all ran out of money.
I love you like a brother In 85 I was a bmx racer and stunt dude. Nearly died during a stunt Strange year that 1985 Special year that …. Hey 🤔 Stay with us MICHAEL!!!!
When you say Christopher Lloyd was born in Stamford you show a clip of the town bridge in Stamford, England. Lloyd was born in the US in Stamford, Connecticut.
Christopher Lloyd's nephew Sam played in scrubs. You called the series "clinic" (I don't know if there's a series called like that and you just got them both mixed up) But later on, you named it the right way "scrubs" when explaining that mj fox had a role in there. *Not so funny fact: Sam, as Ted Buckland died a few years ago a brain tumoredino*

I love you like a brother
In 85 I was a bmx racer and stunt dude.
Nearly died during a stunt
Strange year that
1985
Special year that …. Hey 🤔
Stay with us MICHAEL!!!!
You said to follow the link that appears in the screen for Rick and Morty. What link? I didn't appear
funny thing is Fox can play the song perfectly on guitar./
03:25 *Not Sanford Meisner acting teacher. I dont know who that guy is.
It is my second favorite in my top five favorite movies of all time. Second to One Flew over the cuckoo nest.
When you say Christopher Lloyd was born in Stamford you show a clip of the town bridge in Stamford, England.
Lloyd was born in the US in Stamford, Connecticut.
I thought that looked like England!
Dude, there are WAY too many ads in your videos. You would get more views and subscribers if you had less.
Wait a minute doc , are you telling me , you build time machine out of delorean ?
In the 1950s I figured that Lloyd would have looked more like he did on Taxi because he had not become a mad scientist just yet
That was a mistake, our apologies
@@ItsBiographer hi, I think I should apologize. I didn't want to seem like one of those guys on RUclips getting mad about every single mistake. I appreciate your video and the work you've put in. Have a great day
@@roberth.5938 Glad you enjoyed it. Have a nice day :)
Being 50 years old and a stroke and cardiac arrest and now colon cancer survivor I sort of know how Michael j Fox must be feeling? Was born with a whole in my heart myself what's known as a blue baby, now using a wheelchair when I'm outside and can't really work only get a Disability check from the government here in Hamilton Ontario Canada to live off
